"Very convenient location for work which was at Cubo, Pride Park. The room was clean, though there was a musty, stale water smell in the toilet. The food was average with a fairly limited selection, so only ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night."

"We stayed at Oakhill for 6 days last week.
Our room was bright, looking out over fields, and very clean.
The staff were all unfailingly helpful.
In the restaurant the hotel serves produce from local suppliers. Breakfast had a good choice. Evening meals had a good menu, with dietary options provided for just about every item.
There are sitting areas in the pleasant grounds. There was plenty of car parking.
Cromford is well placed to visit a wide variety of places and activities in Derbyshire. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Oakhill."

"Absolutely lovely place to stay... I have 2 boys aged 11,12 and we all slept extremely well and was treated amazing by the staff. Very pleasant and extremely polite. Room was on point with cleanliness I can't fault the room at all except there was really poor signal on the television which resulted in us not being able to watch on it but it gave us more time to explore the city which is only a few mins walk and yet of an evening we was not disturbed one bit by noise or nightlife at all ... Will be rebooking without a doubt as we visit kids dad once a month . The bath was also amazing . Well done guys you definitely have 3 repeat customers in us"

"I often considered booking this hotel when coming home to visit but after these last 3 days I will definitely use it more, previously I had always booked premier inn hotel never again, this hotel has AC which during the last few days has been a godsend and the added bonus of a walk in shower that was actually quite powerful, compare that to the premier inn asking for £300 for 3 nights with no AC and a shower over a bath that is totally useless, this cost £179 for 3 nights absolute bargain."

"Lovely location, (pretty village) lovely grounds and impressive entrance. However, we weren’t in the main hotel. The room was large but old fashioned. The roof sloped at the sides which we banged our heads on several times. The window was small which made it stuffy and it was very dark, no main light in the bedroom only lamps. Bed was king size and comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean. We used the restaurant once for dinner and we had 2 breakfasts and the food was nice and reasonable priced. Breakfast was self service (as ours was included) with a good and plentiful variety. The staff were friendly and helpful but professional. We didn’t use the pool in the end as it meant going outside and back inside, as our room was not connected to a covered route to the pool.
Nothing really to complain about but we did expect the room to be a bit more luxurious. Slightly overpriced for the room. I expect the price was based on the available amenities. "

不過，酒店也有一些小瑕疵。比如酒店的網絡信號不是特別穩定，有時候刷視頻會卡頓，對於需要隨時處理工作的人來説可能會有點影響。

"Staff brilliant. Value brilliant. Absolute bargain.
Hot Breakfast was average which was an extra tenner but it had a good selection of cereal, toast, yoghurt. Rooms were basic but in a good way. Everything you need for a cheap stay. Clean. Only small gripe was pillows weren’t the best so next time I’ll bring my own. Some may like the more flat pillows. Thanks IBIS derby."

"The hotel itself was very nice. The room was large and comfortable (maybe too warm at times). The room facilities and freebies and bathroom was very nice and felt quite luxury. The hotel is in a natural and beautiful area where you can go hiking around it on trail, and there is a pub next door. The breakfast was lovely with varied choice. The restaurant for dinner was expensive but served great food. Parking wasnt much of an issue which made things easier. All in all a great experience, and the value for money was brilliant. My only downside was that its difficult to travel anywhere without a car from the hotel. No complaints otherwise."

The room and all hotel was spotlessly clean.
The rooms amenities were very good, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, towelling robes, extra blanket and pillows, fridge, lots of coffee and tea and milk with a coffee pod machine too. Water in fridge.
Amazing views from the bedroom AND bathroom.
Tv choice was excellent with Netflix etc
Could not fault.
The breakfast was out of this world!!!!!

Stayed here for one night during my Peak District trip. The hotel is very well located, right in the centre of Buxton and close to the Pavilion Gardens, bus stops, and walking routes. The room was clean, comfortable, and warm — perfect after a long day of hiking. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth and hassle-free. A solid choice if you’re exploring Buxton and the Peak District using public transport.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 1 night for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that the spa was closed for an event which was very disappointing as I booked this hotel because of the spa & had planned to use the pool & sauna. This should gave been communicated at the time of booking. The building and grounds were impressive but on arrival our featured superior room was freezing cold. The reception turned on the heating at our request but this should have been done hours before our arrival given that it was 8 degrees outside. We sat for an hour in the room with our coats on before asking for a portable heater due to the radiators being only lukewarm. The room never really got warm & when we came back from dinner at 9.15 the heating had been turned off again & we had to ask for it to be turned on again. The food in the restaurant was very good & the servers were lovely but unorganised. We planned to have a drink in the hotel bar but it was so cold that it was empty and not comfortable to stay. I heard kore than one staff member complain about the cold in the hotel. What could have been a very pleasant stay was spoiled by the cold. Unfortunately, we will not return.

GGuest UserA wonderful, quiet location with plenty of free parking and an extremely warm welcome,The hotel could do with a little tender care, as parts of it were disintegrating and in poor repair. The window frames, which are unfortunately rotting away, along with slipped, broken roof tiles due to lack of maintenance. We were a little disappointed that we could not order our tasty evening Indian meal from the on-site restaurant to eat in our room after a long day out and about, and instead had to eat in the poorly lit restaurant, so much so that I could not read the menu with the tiny writing and poor design colors. I would not stay again, as what was described as a standard double room on the second floor was in a converted half-eve loft with no view out of the roof windows. The ensuite was adequate, with a good shower; towels, soap and body wash were included, though only one pair of slippers. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, which, in my opinion, was too expensive for what it is.

GGuest UserInvincible satisfaction, this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in the UK, although it is very convenient to eat in the restaurant on the first floor near the manor. The front desk of the hotel is also warm and the dinner tastes good. There is also a RV base next to the hotel. If you get off from Sheffield and take 218 back to Darcy Manor and then transfer to 6.1 Bus for seven minutes, follow the navigation positioning positioning. Remember to continue to walk forward for a few minutes and cross a small bridge. Navigation is not accurate. The local bus is no different from the taxi. I originally took a taxi to the hotel and found that Uber 138 pounds was not cost-effective and it was OK to take the car directly. The scenery along the way is particularly beautiful, and it is also a good journey experience ～

GGlobalTraveller88We chose Wildes Inn as it is conveniently located just 4 minutes from Bolsover Hospital, where our mother was due to have full knee surgery. We wanted her to be well rested and comfortable, and the Inn truly delivered.
The staff were very friendly, and we were greeted straight away by a young, polite gentleman who made check-in smooth and stress-free. The lobby smelled wonderful and had a spa-like, relaxing atmosphere. The team were also very thoughtful, knowing the reason for our stay, they even offered to arrange takeaway breakfast for us.
We booked an accessible room for our mother, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience.
Our mother was well rested and ready for her surgery. If we pass through again, I would love to try the spa treatments, they certainly look very appealing.

All the staff were smart, well mannered and helpful.
The room was a good size and were surprised to have a full sized bath as well as a powerful shower.
Fantastic breakfast selection where all food was replenished as soon as it was getting low.
The only negatives for us was the fact we found some rubbish near the bed along with evidence of dust, one of the bed sheets was torn and one of the bedside wall lamp units was hanging off the wall but still functional.
Overall a really lovely hotel and ideally situated for the football stadium as well as taking in the local sites/ shopping centre (straight over the road)

GGuest UserThe hotel was previously used as a migrant hostel before returning to use as a hotel and could do with freshening up as our room stank of cigarette smoke and had fag burns in the bath. Food was nice and staff friendly and curtious

GGuest UserStayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay.
