Very good and large place and facilities. However, hotel give me smoking room even I have book non smoking room. Apart from this, it is really good experience.

The hotel is located in Hanamaki Onsen Village, which is a group of three hotels. You can go to the hot springs in all three hotels, but I only went to the Momijikan, which has both outdoor and indoor hot springs. The area is not small and very comfortable. The room is also large, and the breakfast is rich in variety, with Japanese and Western food. There are also sukiyaki, local milk and ice cream. The hotel also has free folk performances in the lobby every night, which is very unique. If it is spring and summer, the rose garden near the hotel should also be beautiful. A very recommended hotel. The disadvantage is that the surrounding public transportation is not very convenient. You can only make an appointment to take the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Shin-Hanamaki Station. Although there are ordinary buses, there are very few buses.

This is the best ever hotel I have ever been to in Japan. The name Richmond guarantees so many things. You can count on it. Even though it’s not in a big city like Tokyo or Osaka, but if you are visiting Morioka - choose this hotel. It worth every penny of yours. The staffs are so helpful, dedicated and dependable at anytime and any situation you need. All staffs say that their English are not good, but I who lived in London for many years would say that their skill is more than just okay. Even the housekeepers are still nice. I have some problems with my luggage transfers to the airport from the hotel and they are trying their best to help me alleviate those. There is a free service lounge from noon to 8pm in the 2nd floor. The microwave oven and ice machine on the 7th floor. The coin washing machine is also located on the 7th floor - 500 yens for wash and dry. Convenient store(Lawson) is on the ground floor with direct access from the lobby. I’ve stayed on the 9th floor. The room is big and the view of the station was fabulous. Free WiFi is available. And the TV system communicates with all the system of the hotel shows all the information you need - even the time left of the coin washing machine that you used. Yakiniku and many delicious restaurants just around the corner from the hotel. Definitely will stay here again anytime I visit Morioka.

Take the Shinkansen to Shin-Hanamaki and take the hotel shuttle bus. The transportation is very convenient. The welcome drinks and rest area are provided on site, which is very considerate. The front desk and on-site reception staff are also very kind and welcoming. The room is also very clean and tidy; the key is to stay in one. In the hotel, you can actually experience the large baths of three hotels in the area, enjoy different landscapes and exclusive baths, it is really worth recommending. The breakfast and dinner dishes are all very distinctive local delicacies. The portions are large and delicious. The dining environment is also very spacious. It is really a pleasure to enjoy delicious food after soaking in the hot springs! Everyone said they would like to come again next time. This is a good hot spring hotel that I sincerely recommend!

The room is clean this time. It was a beautiful room. It was good to be a twin as a wide 々. However, it is a pity that I couldn't want a non-smoking room because there were only ”partial non-smoking” or smoking rooms on the reservation site at the time of booking. As a result, I was glad that I was able to call directly and change to a non-smoking room, but I felt that I wanted you to prepare a lot of completely non-smoking rooms. I feel unfair when I think that I could use it at a cheaper price in a smoking room. I am satisfied because the breakfast was very delicious in the buffet style. The correspondence of the staff was also kind.

Superb onsen hotel. We took sea view and it was superb with a small balcony. Room are very confortable and big. Onsen was excellent with an outside bath looking at the bay. We had dinner also and it was 5 star. Staff were super helpful (front desk, restaurant etc)

The staff were very friendly and even though I checked in late at night, they greeted me politely with a smile. The large communal bath was clean and the facilities were good, and there was a sauna too, so it was very comfortable. I stayed alone in a double room, but it was spacious enough and there was a sofa so I was comfortable. There was no information about a wake-up call, so I asked the front desk and they told me that one was available there.

It was much cheaper than travel arrangement services in Japan, so I made a reservation through this site, which I usually use when traveling abroad. I usually use hotels within the prefecture when I use Hokans, but I have used this one far more often, and this was my fourth time. The selling points of this hotel are its ”good location” and ”high quality breakfast.” Although it is located in the middle of a main street in the downtown area, it is close to the station, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, and parking lots nearby. The breakfast is a typical buffet style, but all four types of curry are delicious, and the use of locally produced ingredients such as yogurt, hittsumi soup, and hitomebore white rice is a great point, and combined with the high cost performance, it is worth noting. There is no denying that the facilities are old, but they are not unpleasant and I would say that the quality and service are sufficient. I hope that they will continue to manage this good value for money and high quality.

出来たばかりで非常に綺麗なホテルでした。 北上駅の新幹線口に直結で、部屋も広く、大浴場もあり快適でリラックスできる良いホテルです。

The room was very clean and the surrounding area was nice. The staff had a great service attitude. The only thing is that the hotel decor is a bit old and could use a renovation. Of course, staying here during cherry blossom season would be absolutely perfect!
