Perfect. The room and all areas were spotless every day – nothing to complain about.
Location
Perfect! Just a short, easy walk to Morioka Station, close to the canal (Nakatsu River area) for pleasant strolls, and a 7-11 right downstairs for food and drinks anytime.
Staff / Service
Very friendly staff – welcoming and helpful from start to finish.
Room / Comfort
Small (typical for Japan), but very comfortable bed and solid amenities. Slept great.
Value for Money
The price is very reasonable – excellent value for such a great location and quality.
Would stay again – ideal spot for Morioka visitors!

The hotel is within walking distance from the Morioka Shinkansen station, the rooms are spacious and is near the main shopping street with a mall across the street.

The hotel is almost perfect except that there is no bathtub in the room. The service struck me most is the courtesy of the staff. Everyone was so helpful and well-mannered.

This place is super clean, convenient and new. King beds are more like Queen sized beds. The restaurant food at night is pretty decent and well priced. The breakfast Buffett is mediocre and wouldn’t really recommend. Staff were good. Onsen is nice to have. I used to stay at comfort inn and Toyoko inn, but I’ll pay a bit more and go for Sakura next time I am in Kitakami

第二次入住，秋天的景色比夏天更美！
酒店環境服務餐食都非常好，入住兩晚晚餐不一樣，第二晚太豐盛了，吃撐也沒吃完。早餐自助餐也是極好的。
酒店服務人員都很友好，可以幫助叫出租車。
酒店温泉很多，泉質非常好。唯一遺憾的是半露天温泉安上玻璃窗了，沒法好好欣賞外面的秋景，也有點憋悶。
混浴景色最美，晚上8點到9點是女士專用時間。如果白天也能安排一小時女士用時間就完美了。比較白天的風景更美，混浴女士還是不太適應。
有機會還會入住這家酒店。

Overall very good place but a little difficult to find without maps because the sign on the front is not very big nor well lit. also the main entrance is not where you expect it but below ground level.

호텔은 모리오카 역에서 도보 약 15분 거리에 위치해 접근성이 뛰어나지만. 캐리어 나 짐이 많거나 비가오면 약간은 도보로 힘든 수준입니다.
주변에 24시간 운영하는 편의점, 식당, 커피숍이 많아 이용하기 매우 편리합니다.
대기업 브랜드 호텔로서 시설은 약간 노후 되었으나 시설관리 상태는 매우 양호해 쾌적한 숙박이 가능하다고 생각됩니다.
업무관련 출장객들에게는 호텔숙박 가격은 할인 시 이용하면 가성비가 높아 만족도가 좋다고 생각합니다.
단점으로는 근처에 술집과 유흥가가 많아 술취한 사람들에의한 밤에 소음이 매우 심각한 수준입니다.
이로 인해서 조용한 환경을 선호하는. 출장 투숙객에게는 잠자리가 불편할 수 있습니다.
샤워실과. 화장실 시설은 약간 노후됬지만 샤워실 수압은 양호한 상태로 잘 관리되고 있습니다.

GGuest UserThe room size is quite spacious for Japan; there's plenty of room for two 20-inch suitcases. Free toiletries are available on the first floor, including bath salts, face masks, facial cleanser, and lotion samples. The room also comes with a comfortable yukata. Breakfast is very generous, featuring local specialty Kougen milk (the hard-to-find glass bottle version), and the hotel's homemade grape-flavored milk jam is also worth a try. The hotel is connected to a convenience store on the first floor, and you can enter the hotel from Lawson using your room card (especially convenient on snowy days as the road facing the hotel's main entrance is less accessible than the convenience store's entrance). It's right opposite Morioka Station, and you can walk to Kaiun Bridge in a few minutes. From Kaiun Bridge, you get a superb view of Mount Iwate.

AAnonymous UserWe were two people staying 3 nights.
We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good.
The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat.
They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen).
We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob.
It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well.
After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem.
The people at the hotel were very nice and polite.
Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

The hotel isn't modern or new, but it's well-maintained. Stayed in the tatami room and it's extremely spacious.
Opt for the dinner buffet as there aren't lots of dining options unless you drive. Breakfast was full of Western and Japanese options. Oiishi!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit away from JR Morioka Station. It is not the most convenient to go through the underground passage. Compared with the general Toyoko Hotel, there is no welcome drink or ramen at night. The breakfast is also very general. The room is small and the experience is ordinary.

We loved the hotel so much in Oct 2025 so we rebooked and came again from Dec 20-24, 2025.
1. Very convenient for ski experience. Ski in and ski out. Ski rental and ski coach school are just besides hotel. Good experience for rentals and coaches hiring.
2. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great and so yummy! The food does change every night to give you diversified variation to choose from. Very delicate food preparations by great chefs so don’t worry you will never get bored.
3. Onsen is also great great great! Great view and women and men get alternate the hot spring pool everyday.
4. First floor relaxing area is great great! You have self service bar of juice / soda / coffee and popsicles.
5. The hotel staffs are so nice and make you feel at home. Motoyo-San is extremely friendly and her English is so fluent!!! We were very lucky to have her help out during our stay.
6. 3rd floor is newly renovated so pls try this beautiful room next time!
Highly recommend!!!! Great for family and couple trips!

GGuest UserThe Resort location can easily access the Appi Kogen slope and rentals. Hotel is generally good but some details could be improved; such as providing towels in the onsen, increase the number of washing machines and dryers.
Food options within the hotel is limited. The best part is the sake tasting for 100￥

LLanie KirklandA group of four of us booked a cabin on a whim, and I’m so happy we did!! We did a two-day ski trip to Geto Kogen, and I cannot stress enough how convenient these cabins were to the resort itself. We stayed overnight in between two days at the resort. The drive up to the resort was less than 20 minutes. The cabin itself was super cozy, so comfortable, had great amenities for the short time we were there, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Everything was very clean, the heater was already on when we arrived, which was a very thoughtful touch, and we were able to hang all our snow gear to dry thanks to the copious amounts of hangars available. We felt it was a crazy good deal based on the price, location, and availability to book it just a few days in advance. We will definitely be back in the summer to use the grill and go golfing at the country club!

DDevI stayed at this place during my hike through the Michinoku coastal trail. This is a good choice before you attempt Kurosakiso and Kitayamazaki coast. This can be reached easily from Horinai station. Cross the big bridge and walk a bit more, you can see the sign to the left. The hotel has nice indoor and outdoor onsen. Many locals come here to use the onsen. They probably have annual or life membership to use the onsen. It is a nice opportunity to chat with some of them. When I was there, it was raining and hence I could not enjoy the view, however, using onsen after hiking in the rain was quite relaxing. On a clear day, the ocean can be seen from the room window. Dinner can be ordered and is quite good at a reasonable price. The next day, the hotel shuttle dropped me to the train station which was quite nice, I did not have to walk in rain.

AAppearThis is a highly recommended and convenient hotel right in Morioka. The location is perfect: it's situated directly across from the train station, easily accessible via the underground walkway. It's also near Kaiunbashi, one of Morioka's signature spots, offering a great scenic view. For ultimate convenience, there's a 7-Eleven located right on the ground floor of the hotel.
Beyond the location, the staff are very nice and incredibly helpful. The lobby provides an impressive array of amenities, more generous than many hotels I've visited. The room size is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious, meeting the excellent standards of the Daiwa Roynet brand.

It is a small hotel, but there are a number of rooms or more parking lots, so it seems that you cannot park your car.
A system where you can give a card key at check-in and put it in a box when you go out and leave it as it is. You don't need to leave it at the front desk when you go out. Simple but no trouble.
It is a little far from the nearest Ichinoseki station and the downtown area in front of the station (?), but it is a distance that cannot be walked. Is it a little closer from the east exit? It seems to be within the taxi first ride fare range.
There are seven eleven and drug stores (food super type goods) within 3 minutes walk of the inn, and there is no particular inconvenience in shopping.
The room doesn't feel that big, but it has everything you need to stay as a business and it's a good impression. There is no particular concern about beds and bedding.
WIFI speed is no problem, and the sound of other rooms is not particularly heard and comfortable. Best environment if you don't ask for excessive service.
Free breakfast is a system that takes bread, small bowls, yogurt (Danon), and beverages by yourself. It's simple, but if you don't need ”guts from the morning!”, you can even feel that it's just right.
The price is the lowest among the hotels near ichinoseki station, and there is no shortage of service if it is a business use with a car.
I think it will be a good choice for those who do not ask for extra service for accommodation.
Personally I was able to stay comfortably.
