This is a superb place to stay at teluk nipah, night time is happening and you can see so many choices of food and if u plan to hv trip during school holidays theres fireshow just straight ahead from this place. Theres atv nearby as well.

On the whole of Pangkor Island, the Hornbill Retreat is the best hotel. The facilities are very new, and I particularly love the dry/wet separation in the room layout. The wash basin and shelves are set up in the middle corridor, which is very convenient to use, allowing space for luggage and various items. The row of benches outside the room is perfect for an immersive experience enjoying the mountain views and chatting with family and friends – it's fantastic. The owner personally greeted us and gave a brief introduction and arrangement. His Chinese is excellent 👍. The hotel has its own restaurant, and the complimentary breakfast is very high-end. It's open to the public for breakfast and dinner, but not lunch. Surprisingly, the prices are even cheaper than outside cafes, and the food is tastier 😋 – truly amazing! The restaurant offers sea views, and on clear days, you can even catch a beautiful sunrise!

There's an ironing area on every floor, and a Coway water dispenser near the room.

Great swimming pool Multiple pools, slides, splash zones, and mini waterpark features keep children busy for hours, and several reviews call the pool area the main highlight for families. The hotel's location is superb 👍🏻 It's connected to the large mall next door, so everything you need is right there. They even offer free late-night snacks from 11 PM to 12 AM: the unsweetened soy milk is delicious and super smooth (you can add syrup yourself), the black glutinous rice sweet soup isn't too sweet or greasy 👍🏻, and there's also plain congee (with various toppings like shredded pork floss available). It's truly impressive and makes you feel at home. The room is very clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable for sleeping. At night, it's just a 10-minute walk to the dessert and snack street. Driving to Gaowen Street for bean sprout chicken and local specialties is super close, just a few minutes away 👍🏻 👍🏻. I'll definitely stay at this fantastic Weil Hotel again on my next trip to Ipoh. The hotel facilities are complete and comfortable, and the staff are very enthusiastic ❤️

It is clean and spacious unit and next to Lost World! In the unit there's water filter for drinking, washing machine (no detergent tho). Although I didnt go to the attraction, this is a good location for those who are going. I had was given 2 car parks. Check in and out directions is clear too! Extra plus point is the plushy pillows and extra large bed!! Great view too. (Aside from the construction ongoing, the hills are just right beside me!!

The place is very clean, peaceful, and relaxing, making it a perfect getaway to unwind. The rooms and facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious, with a good variety of choices. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation

We had a wonderful stay as we planned a birthday surprise for my wife. The decorations were lovely and really made the occasion feel extra special. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a beautiful view that added to the whole vibe. The pool was great and very kid-friendly, and the easy access to the beach was a big plus for our family. The buffet spread was also impressive, with plenty of variety and delicious choices for both dinner and breakfast. Overall, we had a memorable stay and truly enjoyed our time here. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆ The apartment's biggest advantage is its excellent location. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shopping options within walking distance, making it very convenient for families and larger groups. The host was responsive and replied promptly when we raised issues during our stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property fell well below our expectations. We encountered ants throughout the apartment—including the living room, sofa, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms—which made it difficult to enjoy our stay. Although the host provided insect spray after we reported the issue, the infestation was so widespread that spraying the entire apartment was neither practical nor a comfortable solution. Several areas were dusty, the curtains had a noticeable layer of dust, and the bedsheets and toilet rolls appeared old. We were also charged RM60 for an extra bedsheet for two nights, but the condition of the bedding did not justify the additional fee. The sofa showed signs of wear, and one of the ceiling fans was noisy during operation. For larger groups, please note that when someone showers upstairs, the downstairs bathroom cannot be used properly due to water pressure issues. We were informed that this affects every unit in the building, suggesting it is a known issue rather than an isolated incident. The facilities were also disappointing. The jacuzzi was unavailable during our stay and appeared to be non-functional, making it more decorative than usable. The host initially agreed to compensate us for the cleaning fee due to the cleanliness issues, but we did not receive any further update after that. Overall, the apartment has great potential because of its strategic location, but significant improvements in cleanliness, pest control, maintenance, and facility upkeep are needed before I could recommend it to others. Pros Excellent location with many restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. Responsive communication from the host. Cons Widespread ant infestation throughout the apartment. Dusty environment, including dusty curtains. Old bedsheets, worn furniture, and additional bedding charges that did not reflect the quality provided. Noisy ceiling fan. Water pressure issue prevents simultaneous use of upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Jacuzzi was not usable, just a decoration. Compensation for the cleaning issue was promised but never followed up.

I really love the room. The bed was very comfortable with the nice pillows. Duvet cover is lovely with the hotel detailing on them. Well done management. The bathroom is big with separate wet bathroom. Toilet came with bidet and automatic wash machine control system. Breakfast buffet was really good spread and kudos to the f&b team with their amazing hospitality and services. Special shoutout to the staff Hattame for his great hospitality and service. Good ambiance too. Rooftop pool was small but it’s clean and overlooking the airport. There’s a lifeguard and staff around. On the other hand i was very disappointed with the cleanliness at the coffee counter in the room. Total disaster for such a brand new hotel. The dust are so thick on the fridge and all over the coffee cabinet. So disappointing and disgusting. Housekeeping manager or management should check on their staff works. Kettle was not clean properly and there is a left over water in the kettle, obviously not clean from the previous guests. Totally unacceptable for so call 5* hotel. Front desk staff was not friendly and gave me a fake smile and I was not feeling welcome at all. One of the female staff wearing worn out shoes and making so much noise while she moving around the reception which i find so annoying and what a poor grooming and service standard for a hotel. She not even smile at me while I was there at the counter for the check in. Overall I was happy with the comfort of the room and parking area was very convenient for me. Hopefully the management take note of my feedback and hope for the improvement of my next visit otherwise will be my last visit. Thank you.
