Very close to the airport with a free shuttle service, and the driver helped with our luggage. The room facilities are a bit old, especially the bathtub in the bathroom, but the cleanliness was good. The front desk staff's attitude was so-so, but they did give us the quiet room we requested. We stayed one night after arriving late, making it convenient to pick up a rental car the next day. Overall, it's pretty good value for money. There were a lot of airline crew members staying there, which made it feel very safe.

I would be happy to stay in this hotel again. The rooftop looks great and it has a swimming pool! Definitely to enjoy if I had more time to stay. It is walking distance to the Hall of Fame so it is practical for tourists. Around the hotel I didn't see plenty of food options. The room is great, cozy. At night there was some party (I think there is some club next door and it was Friday) so at times the sound was very vivid; it didn't stop me to sleep though. It has a small gym but looks better than many other hotels I have been. I received an email before the check-in to do a pre-checkin and I was asked to input my card details. I am not sure why if when you arrive to the hotel they ask for your card again.

This hotel is still under transformation. A bit inconvenience caused. One day, I left out the hotel room around noon. I found my room had NOT been cleaned after l returned the hotel room at night. I called the front desk and learned that I should call the housekeeping before l went out. This was the first time I encountered such an unpleasant experience. The housekeeping SHOULD keep track of their duty list to clean the room. It’s not guests’ responsibility to report we left the room instead! I did leave my feedback to the hotel and hope they could improve their customer service.

Our family of four recently spent a night at the DoubleTree by Hilton near Little Tokyo, and our experience was, on the whole, satisfactory. The hotel certainly met our basic needs, though it didn't leave a particularly strong impression one way or the other. The highlight for many, I'm sure, is the location. Being within easy reach of Little Tokyo was a definite advantage, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture and cuisine without much hassle. The room we had accommodated our family adequately, it felt a little tight on space for 4 people as we had 2 people on each of the queen beds. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, but the overall aesthetic and furnishings felt somewhat dated. An example are the TVs - they aren't smart TVs but have Direct TV so it felt very 1990s. Most hotels now you can scan your YouTube account or log in with Netflix. Service throughout the hotel was generally efficient and courteous. Staff members were helpful when approached, though interactions were more functional than particularly warm or engaging. Check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and quick. We opted to explore the diverse dining options in Little Tokyo rather than eat at the hotel restaurant. In conclusion, the DoubleTree by Hilton near Little Tokyo offers a dependable option for families seeking a conveniently located hotel. It provides the standard amenities and service one expects from the Hilton brand, but it lacks a certain spark or modern touch that would elevate it beyond simply ”average.” If location is your primary concern and you're looking for a solid, no-frills stay, this hotel is worth considering.

I arrived late at night, and the sandwich trick didn't work. I was given a street-facing room which was a bit noisy. The hotel facilities are excellent, and there's a number 5 bus right outside that goes to the park; you just need to download the app and scan a QR code to get on, which is very convenient. My only minor complaint is that the toilet in my room was leaking slightly.

Good stay here. Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach . Hotel is clean and ready. One problem is that there is only two bottles of water on check in during stay. Not everyday two bottles. There are filtered water in the gym.

We arrived almost midnight! Smooth check in and check out. Staffs were excellent at service. Kind, helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping the rooms and bathrooms super clean. Beds were so comfy till we couldn't wake up. We felt so good under the hot shower after a long flight. Location is perfect. Shuttle service is 24hrs to and fro LAX Airport. Ohh... Breakfast was simple yet delicious. Definitely worth it and we would return for longer stay. Highly recommended to everyone👍😁

We came during the No Kings rally in LA. We were coming from San Jose and I was a bit worried about the situation. The hotel grounds were pretty safe and staff was honest enough to tell us to be cautious. Though the rooms were small, it had everything a modern hotel room could dream of. You control everything via the iPad or you can download their app. They also give back to the community every single day you don't ask your room to be cleaned. Great hotel, highly recommended.

Very nice newly renovated rooms. Brand new entrance and lobby. 5 minute walk to Little Italy restaurant row (India Street) . Little Italy Market with large selection of food and beverages about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Transportation options with buses and light rail nearby.

I stayed for one night as a halfway point to a camping trip. The hotel lobby is nice and has a great smell to it. The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. Your standard eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, etc. the room was nice and spacious. Mine had a sleep number bed which was great for me as a stomach sleeper being able to adjust the firmness of the mattress. The room was clean, but you can tell it needs a good deep cleaning of the carpets and scuff marks on the walls and furniture. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are a light sleeper. The walls are thin and you could hear kids running through the hall and yelling. There was plenty of parking. It was $12. I didn’t get to try the bar or restaurant because I went to the nearby mall instead to shop. All in all, I had a great stay and would come back again.
