I stayed at the Arusha Sheraton before, when prices were not so high. Come back now, the environment is still good, but the decoration facilities have not changed much. If you miss the dinner time, you can have a light meal there and enjoy the Meru Mountain opposite, which is said to be the second highest mountain in Tanzania. The only shortcoming of the hotel is that the city view room is very close to the hotel's equipment room and the noise is very loud. It's okay to close the balcony door during the day, but people who are sensitive to noise at night should not choose the city view room.

Restaurant is very good for a variety of food options and beers. Room is dated and can be noisy (road, noisy bar on the weekend) but good for a short stay before safari. A few food options around / cafes as well as convenience stores and currency exchange. The exchange is much better in Tanzania than Kenya but it seemed harder to pay with a bank card in Tanzania.

Overall, it is ok, worthy of this price (the local area is generally more expensive). Arusha is a safari transfer station. There are many travel agencies and hotels on the road. Everyone is cautious.
