The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Other hotel guests across the hall were opening their doors to find out what the loud racket and noises and disturbance was. This whole problem took the poor m

The hotel is beautiful, in a very good position, central but quiet with a public parking going directly to the hall and the rooms are super clean, the breakfast is good and with a lot of choice...so why only 3/5? Because the staff at the reception is completely useless and the wellness area had very restricted hours (from 5 to 9 p. m. only), they wrote due to the cost of energy, but if this is the reason, why the heating in the rooms was always so high? We had to turn it off and open the window during the day to breath, it should have been around 24-25 °C. If they kept it lower they could open the wellness area for more time, especially because there were a lot of people (60 rooms most or them booked) and it was difficult to use a 8 people jacuzzi and around 20 deck chairs if everybody go there at the same time. The problem with the reception staff totally useless happend twice: in the wellness area you shouldn't drink or eat (it's logical but I asked to be sure), I said there was a group of teenagers with beers and bottles in general (glass) but nobody came to check and say somehing: bringing glass near a swimming pool could be very dangerous if a bottle fall, but nobody cared. The other episode was with the restaurant: we asked at the reception for a reservation in any night of our stay (5 nights), but they say to ask directly to the restaurant without caring at all at our request. At the restaurant they were very rude and said they were fully booked any day any time without even checking, fortunately just around the corner there was another very good one and we went there twice, but usually if in the hotel there is a restaurant, the staff is much more helpful and there is always the possibility to try it if you are a guest of the hotel.

Considering the beautiful view you get from your room, it's worth the buck. However, don't expect you are staying in a 5 start hotel with 5 star service.

The hotel was lovely. It was cleaned every day . Reception staff were very friendly and so were the cleaners. They even gave us a discounted bus ticket pass. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It was in a great location , a 3 minute walk to the train station and bus stops. It was a 5 minute walk to the town centre with lots of shops and restaurants . It’s about a 10 minute walk to the old town and golden roof. There’s also a cable car about 12 minute walk from the hotel and you can get on there to go to the zoo or to see Hungerburg. Really recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with extremely helpful staff. They helped us book reservations, with directions, and anything we asked them for, and always with a smile. The rooms are large enough, but most importantly, they are efficient. There is plenty of space in the oversized closet with drawers. There are multiple places to put luggage, a desk, and even a couple of sitting chairs and a table. We were very impressed with their breakfast. Not only did they have a lot of choices, but also many options for gluten-free diners (since I’m GF, I notice that). We were also impressed with the number of staff monitoring the dining room and replacing items as soon as they ran out. This hotel is also well-situated. Just down the street from Congress (Hofburg) and a 10-minute walk to Old Town. We highly recommend this hotel. One example of staff going out of their way for us was the night we decided to eat dinner at the hotel after being out all day and coming back dog tired. It was cold and rainy which precipitated the decision to stay in and eat in the hotel. Unfortunately we found out the hotel does not serve food on Sunday and Monday nights. Melike Y. helped us order a meal online from the equivalent of Uber Eats. Not only did she help us translate the menu and input the order, but she also called the restaurant to ensure they got the special order correct. When we went down to get our dinner the bartender, Ashok G. had plates, napkins, and silverware set out for us to use when our meal arrived. We didn't ask for any of that, he just did it on his own. Now that’s service!! As mentioned, the hotel is very well situated. Just down the street from Congress and about a 10-minute walk to Old Town. It’s right across the street from the Nordkette up to Innsbruck mountain and to the Zoo. Finally, we obviously dropped some money on the floor in our room and it went under the bed. The housekeeping staff found the money and laid it on the nightstand. We never would’ve known if we didn’t see it on the nightstand. The staff at this hotel couldn’t be nicer. We felt like they were family by the end of our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for any type of stay.

Hotel was great for a short sightseeing trip. It is located slightly out of the main city hub. If you're walking there, it is slightly uphill but nothing too drastic and accessible by bus. Really appreciated the breakfast each morning and they packed us a take away breakfast pack when we had to do an early checkout before breakfast was normally being served.

We stayed there two nights and it was great value for its price. In a quaint part of Innsbruck, Pradl Elf fully immersed us in the heart of the city, only a short walk away from restaurants, the Olympic Park, and (a bit further of a walk) the old city. The room we got was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Though we didn't use it, the little kitchenette provided was quite nice and could have been used. The bathroom was good. It is clear that the hotel is not always staffed: before our arrival (which we said via a form would be at 3pm), they sent us emailed instructions for how to get in the event that no staff was there. The instructions were simple to follow and straightforward, but as an American it was a bit odd to not see any staff present. But, the whole time, we felt secure so it was fine. The parking will cost 8 euros a day but is convenient, located about a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

It is in a convenient location for getting around - next to the train and bus station for links to the airport, international/national trains in other cities, the Swarovski crystal world and around a 10 minute easy walk to the old town. The snow capped mountain views from the room (ours was on the 8th floor) are stunning and framed perfectly by the big windows. The hotel reception and room was stylishly decorated. In the room, there was a small window that could be opened and the air conditioning was very quiet, though doesn’t go down to the 10c on the thermostat and seemed more like 20c. The bedding was very nice quality and had a soft and firm pillow - these were probably the most comfortable pillows I’ve experienced in a hotel before. The bathroom is, again, very modern with nice smelling hand wash and shower gel/shampoo. The shower head had a few different settings, including a massage mode which ran for a few seconds. The shelf for the shower gel/shampoo wasn’t very strong though, so had to be held or rested elsewhere and the pump head kept getting stuck, but otherwise was very good and the towels were very soft and thick. The room was fairly quiet, but you could hear other people in other rooms so it doesn’t appear to be soundproofed in any way. Noise from outside (trains, buses and incoming aeroplanes) were very minimal though and did not disturb us. We found the room cleaning system a little strange - there are two cards that you can put on the door. One is not to be cleaned at all during the day and the other is not to have the room cleaned at that time and needs to be removed before 2pm. There isn’t anything to put on the door when you want it to be cleaned, you just have to remove both from the door handle. We initially had the card attached to the door not to disturb at that time (overnight) and then removed it in the morning at 11am and the room had not been cleaned. We were able to get clean towels from reception though. It would be better in my opinion to have a card to have the room cleaned rather than two not to have it cleaned as most people would surely want the room cleaned. We went to the bar on the 13th floor during our stay. This can be visited by hotel guests and non hotel guests. This looks very nice and has great views all around, as well as an outdoor area with blankets. The prices of the drinks are reasonable and comparable with elsewhere in the city. We sat outside and then asked at the bar for a couple of drinks. We were told that there wasn’t any bar service for the outside area - only the inside (which is not a problem at all). However, it was a bit awkward when paying, the lady making the drinks asked if I wanted to give a tip. Given that the drinks were just being made and not brought to our table, I did not give a tip. Hier fühlt man sich sofort zu Hause! Am Empfang, an der Bar, im Restaurant immer freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Inhaber sind auch vor Ort und leben Kundenpflege pax excellence! Die Zimmer sehr Schick und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Essen ist auf hohem Niveau und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Hier sieht man mich sehr gerne wieder

In eerste instantie schattig hotel, mooie plek en uitzicht en aardige mensen. Toen, gingen mensen van mijn groep hun kamers binnen: sommige bedden waren kapot, andere stonden scheef, schilderijen aan de muren hingen scheef (toont al het aantal aandacht dat het personeel voor het hotel en de gasten heeft). Dit alles kon nog geaccepteerd worden, het is een skihotel, luxe is niet de prioriteit, normaal eten hoort dat wel te zijn maar was het zeker niet. Beginnen bij het diner: de gastvrouw is gezien met haar hand in de bak met eten, kip halfrauw, bakken die lekken, bedorven groenten, haren in het eten gevonden. Alleen de toetjes waren opzich te eten. Maar de borden waren alleen een beetje afgespoeld; sauzen op de achterkant van de borden, vieze glazen.En dan het ontbijt: al het eten (melk, vleeswaren, kaas etc.) stonden de avond van te voren al klaar, niet in koelcellen, de sappen smaakten naar water en soms waren eieren ook niet goed. Zoals u kunt raden, zijn sommigen van mijn groep ziek geworden tijdens de reis, zonde. De medewerkers zijn wel beleefd, maar gastvrij zou ik het zeker niet noemen. Jammer, dit hotel heeft grote potentie, maar de niet eens duits-sprekende mensen lijken niet te boeien.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel lors d’un roadtrip. L’hôtel est magnifique et complètement au calme. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, avec une jolie terrasse et une literie très confortable. L’unique petit bémol est l’absence de climatisation mais cela semble être le cas dans bon nombre d’hôtels à la montagne. Il faisait très chaud lors de notre séjour et la nuit n’a donc pas été très reposante … Il y a un grand spa accessible gratuitement ainsi qu’une piscine et il est très agréable de s’y reposer. Le petit déjeuner était tout simplement extraordinaire : une grande variété de produits frais et raffinés. Le restaurant était malheureusement fermé le soir de notre séjour et ce fut un problème pour nous car nous étions en moto et aucun restaurant n’était accessible à une distance de marche raisonnable. C’est alors que Monique, la réceptionniste nous a tout naturellement proposé de prendre sa voiture afin de pouvoir aller manger ! Nous n’en revenions pas d’une telle gentillesse ! Nous n’avons pas osé partir toute une soirée avec sa voiture et l’avons donc empruntée afin d’aller chercher des pizzas à emporter non loin de l’hôtel. Elle nous a ensuite apporté les couverts nécessaires ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin. Nous avons réellement été touchés d’une telle gentillesse et je profite de ce commentaire pour la remercier à nouveau !

We've stayed in Seefeld for many years but this was the first time staying in this hotel, although we have used the pool facilities on previous stays. We arrived by train which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, but they insisted on sending a car to collect us and help with our luggage. This was above and beyond great customer service!! The welcome we received from the staff on reception was exceptional. It was apparent that they wanted to make every effort to ensure we had a good stay. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. We booked half board and the food was wonderful every night. Good choice for mains and drinks included which was a real bonus. The free afternoon cake was delicious (pay for drinks) and was enough to keep you going until dinner time. Breakfast was great too with all the usual offerings in an Austrian hotel. We had the same table everyday for breakfast and dinner and the waitress who was on every morning and evening for the whole week we stayed, was very pleasant and attentive. She looked after us really well. We used the whirlpool everyday and the new quiet lounge in the pool area was lovely to chill out in. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the town. Overall this hotel offers great value for money. Can't recommend it enough. We've booked to come back in summer 2024. More

nous avons séjourné 2 jours dans l hôtel. Le restaurant nous ayant convaincu de passer une nuit supplémentaire. L hotel en lui même est très joli avec du vitrail et du bois, vraiment ”authentique”. La chambre confortable avec du bois et un style désué tres sympathique. Le gros point faible c'est la salle de bain, qui pour le coup, le côté desue devient péjoratif. Laissant au départ un gros apriori, mais en y regardant de plus près elle était très propre. Les toilettes sont très basses et la douche tres étroite... mais bon on s y fait..conclusion : hotel qui semble hors du temps, l personnels chaleureux et ambiance familiale, restaurant vraiment très agréable avec des plats autrichiens tres bons et copieux, même avec un bébé

We've stayed in Seefeld for many years but this was the first time staying in this hotel, although we have used the pool facilities on previous stays. We arrived by train which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, but they insisted on sending a car to collect us and help with our luggage. This was above and beyond great customer service!! The welcome we received from the staff on reception was exceptional. It was apparent that they wanted to make every effort to ensure we had a good stay. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. We booked half board and the food was wonderful every night. Good choice for mains and drinks included which was a real bonus. The free afternoon cake was delicious (pay for drinks) and was enough to keep you going until dinner time. Breakfast was great too with all the usual offerings in an Austrian hotel. We had the same table everyday for breakfast and dinner and the waitress who was on every morning and evening for the whole week we stayed, was very pleasant and attentive. She looked after us really well. We used the whirlpool everyday and the new quiet lounge in the pool area was lovely to chill out in. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the town. Overall this hotel offers great value for money. Can't recommend it enough. We've booked to come back in summer 2024. More

The location of the hotel is perfect. It has a great backdrop with mountain view and an open field view in its front yard, separating it from the crowds of busy hotel in the centre. The train station is within sight (basically in front of you) and it is within walking distance to the city centre and the Congress centre. It has great facilities with hot sauna, mist sauna and infrared thermotherapy in the basement. The breakfast has all you want to start your day. The staff, especially Andrea and Christina, are very friendly and helpful, making the stay like home. All in all, the hotel gives a very cozy, homely, comfortable feeling. I will definitely stay there again!

My family has been spending the winter vacation in this hotel for almost 10 years, indicating our great satisfaction. The best part of this hotel is the staff, who are excellent, professional, friendly, and always ready to meet guests' needs. They are the soul of this hotel. A big shoutout to Kostya, Nastya, Slavica, Manfred, and others. The hotel is constantly invested in and renovated. A few years ago, the wellness center was renewed and expanded, which is excellent. All bars and the restaurant have been renovated, and we really like the new ambiance. The rooms in the Residence part of the hotel, where our rooms are located, are spacious, beautiful, and comfortable with plenty of storage space. However, they need a bit of renovation, such as new mattresses, radiators, shower faucets. These are minor issues that wouldn't prevent us from coming back. The hotel's hygiene is at an admirable level; everything is clean and tidy, and the whole hotel smells good. The cuisine is excellent; this year, desserts impressed us, and we send greetings to the new dessert chef (who works in the hotel for a long time and finally got the place he deserves). One observation is that in previous years, there was often a buffet-style dinner or snacks and desserts, but this year it only happened once a week. Also, the afternoon snack, discontinued since last year, is missed by us and other guests as far as we've noticed. We are aware of the economic challenges in Europe in recent years and hope the hotel will reintroduce these services when the opportunity arises. The hotel's location is also good; a short walk and you're in the village center. In conclusion, Seefeld is a charming village with not many ski slopes for advanced skiers, but several large ski resorts nearby for those seeking more adrenaline. The slopes in Seefeld are sufficient for us. My daughter likes to say that Hotel Alpenpark and Seefeld are like scenes from Christmas movies, and being there feels like entering a Christmas film—absolutely beautiful.

We found this hotel simply by searching „best hotel with SPA in the Alps“ and it showed up in multiple rankings. For a long weekend it seemed perfect, and almost perfect it was: Professional, warm, welcoming staff all along. Every single interaction, from the check-in to the restaurant, the bar, everywhere, we could experience authentic, nice and hospital staff. That part could not be better. And the meals…to die for. Amazing breakfast buffets, great snack mid afternoon, and the the 5-course dinner have set new benchmarks in my book. We loved the gym and the SPA. The pool is not huge, yet there is plenty of space, and the saunas and steambaths are in excellent shape. The whole hotel and everything around it feels new, modern, clean, yet with that Austrian/Alpine touch. The room have a decent size, all come with a balcony from which one can admire the beautiful surroundings. So, where is the „issue“? The hotel is just next to a quite busy road with fast traffic. Somehow the experience could have been totally perfect if one could sleep with open windows (it was warm) or if laying on a sunset in the garden it would be „mountain quiet“. But it was not, you clearly hear the traffic all the time. Without this acoustics disturbance this hotel, its staff, its service offering, its infrastructure, would deserve top votes in every regards. May be there is a way to build sound barriers like in many other places, and hide them behind bushes or small trees?
