Clean hotel. Convenient and just infront of the airport. I just don’t like the hotel perfume. It smells so strong which is not refreshing for tired and dizzy passenger costumers.

Hotel itself was amazing from lobby to room, the only thing I would change is the bathroom needed a bit of maintenance. Could see some mold and a hole in the roof. The breakfast was great just get in early as some things are gone once they are gone. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel seems to be fairly central to everything you need.

Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

Overall good stay. Staff are polite and helpful. Clean, super big room with a swing and projector TV. Perhaps for my 2 young kids under 8. 2 big bed. Allow late check out on our last day, plus point. Washer and dryer just outside our room. Breakfast was excellant but have to walk 10 mins- in minus 3 degree 😆 Didi drop off is 200m walk away. Its ok. Room drain choke on 2nd day but they fix it fast (someone off the basement suction pump). Highly recommended.

This hotel is almost next to the airport terminal, super convenient for early morning flight. It is clean and service is excellent. Manager on duty - Han, Yueliu helped arrange a room in the main buidling, which is what I preferred. Everything went well. Will stay here again next time when I come back.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to Mixc shopping centre. Great view of the Shanxi museum and surrounding architectural splendours. I even saw fireworks from our room. Special mention to David Wang for his excellent service.

This is a big hotel in a good location ( walking distance to the ancient town) with spacious room , clean and comfortable beds. However, there are no fridge, nor save box in the room; kettle, tea, coffee provided. Love breakfast with a variety of choice, both western and Asian styles, especially the dinner buffet (158 yuan) is amazing; well done chefs! We love a lot of things about this hotel apart from the “shower tickets”; this should be clarified in the hotel’s policy that this ticket is just a discount coupon for using Spa. We thought this is for swimming pool. Overall, we had a good time at the hotel and lucky to visit the Buddha caves and the flying temple in one day. Highly recommend this hotel to any traveller in Datong.

We had a great stay at Pipa Inn. It is centrally located in Datong Ancient City but in a quiet street with no traffic. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is home cooked with a variety of options, a few western. Tip: The noodle restaurant around the corner is very good but also extremely crowded. The hotel offered that we could eat in their breakfast area, so we could skip the line and order takeaway. Much recommended. All in all, we warmly recommend Pipa for your stay in Datong.

The room was very clean and seemed quite new. The hotel is within the ancient city area but in a quiet alley, so even during the Chinese new year public holiday period, it was still nice and quiet. All the staffs were very friendly and willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service at the buffet breakfast was impeccable while the breakfast varieties were acceptable. The service provided by the staff with the employees' tag below was superb during my breakfast. The room is huge, a truly international 5 star quality. Daily cleaning service was great while I didn't manage to get their name, but kudos to their services. All in all, my experience here was great, and I would recommend anyone who stay at this hotel.
