Had a good stay. Its on the white town side of Puduchery with most of the city attractions like Shri Aurobindo samadhi , Vinayaka temple, rock beach and walkway etc. ot walk able distances. The hotels tries to maintain an europian standard and ambience overall which was good, but things like not having door mats from the dusty balcony etc. backfires. Would say the facility and restaurant etc. are more for couples and not targeted for family with kids. Pure veg restaurants like Sirguru etc. are nearby. Parking is outside on the roadside. Overall had a good, no complaint stay. But nothing extra ordinary other than the hotel location. Cost was on the higher side for the facility.

Came to celebrate my birthday and had a nice time. Everyone smiles at you. Got a cake from them too.. Pro: -Service is super fast and feel like luxury. -Indoor pool was great and very clean. -Gym had trainers in the evening i guess. -Breakfast spread was huge with both veg and non veg. English breakfast was also wide. -centre of the city yet so quiet -Bed is huge and rooms are okaying spacious - iPad with lot of high tech - expresso was had to make but they give help u. - good Wi-Fi - valet parking Con: Asked for room cleaning late evening but didn’t do it. Tv controls in iPad for other entertainment apps are hard .(can provide normal tv control extra too

Lovely location , and good food in the dining areas. , but everything else was far below our expectations . The hotel is in need of a complete makeover. The rooms are tired looking with furnishings from the 70’s. Our first room. (3) was directly over the kitchen with a very noisy extractor fan than ran from 5:30am to 11:30pm. We switched room to the third floor which was quieter during the day but next to the top floor restaurant and kitchen plus a smoking area directly outside our room for the restaurant guests. The room was very dated and hasn’t been renovated for a very long time . The layout was particularly awkward as it was impossible to get past the wardrobe with the door open or put the bags inside the wardrobe . The room itself was large but the empty space was wasted , adding an extra chair would have gone a long way to making it a more comfortable room. There were plenty of staff , but most just standing about doing very little , getting a tea and coffee at breakfast was a 10 to 15 minute wait , despite at least one person standing idle at the machine. The reception was unable to organise any tours for us , which we felt was odd. Pool although a little small was nice and warm , but did not have a shallow end ( 5feet throughout )so it would not be children friendly

I have always been dreaming about traveling to India and visit Pondicherry! This year, I decided to make it happen! Thanks to my travel agent Services International, who made the reservations for me at the Le Dupleix, Pondicherry, this dream has been fulfilled with aplomb! My brief stay of three nights at this wonderful hotel in the center of town, gave me all the chances to see and experience what visiting Pondicherry is like! The time I took to visit, the guide Babur that accompanied me around town for the day, and the driver Mr Bala from Services International made the trip take place with absolute pleasure! But the staff at the Dupleix headed by Ms Kutiva, Ms Jemima, their housekeeping group with Ms Padmani made my stay here all the more pleasurable! It broke my hear to leave Pondicherry today, but I hope that the chance will come again soon! This time I will plan to visit with my friends and some family as well! I will give The Dupleix a very high recommendation, best to ask for rooms at the ground or second floors! Everything else will just fall into place and make you love reaching Pondicherry even more! Great Hotel ..! Everything was perfectly arranged for us and the staffs were really friendly and caring.. Me and my friends would definitely choose Seethala again and again every time we go to Pondicherry ..Thankyou for the wonderful experience and enjoyable time we shared with you Vignesh , Madhan and the other person whose name I don’t remember .. We were extremely moved by your kindness and compassion ❤️

We stayed at this hotel for a week .Just a few minutes away from White town but we had a superb experience in terms of cleanliness, hygiene,staff was very helpful,food at their in house restaurant was delicious, housekeeping facilities , professionalism with regard to dealing with customers.Special mention to Miss Vishalakshmi and Miss Parvathy who took care of us very well .Also Nitin who served us so many meals at May Kitchen was very good .The food, all meals especially the French cuisine which we ate once were.prepared well.All in all we had wonderful seven days and would definitely recommend to others to stay at Hotel Aura.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location and easily accessible to cafe, restaurants and famous places. Beach is in walkable distance. This hotel doesn't have kitchen but we can get food ordered via swiggy and zomato

Room and bathroom was spacious and big locality was good all tourist places are near by. All staff are good to help u and have good behaviour. Overall nice experience. Awsm place and they arrange early check in the morning at 4am for three rooms they picked up phone early morning n arrange early check in without any hesitation. All tourist spot is near by.
