Hotel Dengan parking di Kratie Province, Cambodia

Cet hôtel reste le meilleur de l’île pour l’instant. Il est situé dans un parc arboré magnifique où nous nous sommes endormis avec les bruits de la nuit et réveillés par les chants d’oiseaux, c’était un bonheur. La chambre est une villa spacieuse et décorée avec goût dans le style khmer esprit brocante. La piscine est très belle, le restaurant délicieux et le personnel totalement adorable. Ceci dit, la chambre (la plomberie) aurait besoin de petites rénovations pour garder son charme. Pour le moment l’emplacement est unique mais il risque de subir rapidement la concurrence de petites guesthouses très coquettes où on mange délicieusement bien et où l’ambiance est plus friendly et moins feutrée. Une belle adresse mais très chère par rapport aux guesthouses autour (nous avons testé successivement les deux types d’hébergement). Pour résumer, ce n’est pas un hôtel de luxe mais plus un cottage, cela reste l’adresse la plus confortable.

Very good offer for the money you pay! The dorm room is very clean, with comfy beds and lockers. It also has a balcony with a nice view on the river. Location is quite central and you can book the dolphin tours directly with them. Big minus from my side though, as there is even a camera directly in the dorm room. This is too much of surveillance and no other hostel has this. When I asked why, the owner told me „it’s not a private room“.

The decoration style of the hotel is very special. There are many foreign tourists living in the hotel. The boss seems to be French. There is an exotic style. The overall environment is not bad. I will consider living again next time. It is very good.

In addition, if you want to see dolphin, you can go directly to dolphine view to buy a ticket without time limit.
