Hotel Dengan parking di Canterbury, New Zealand

The park is huge and very disorganised. The staff at the reception was very friendly and nice and the check-in was quick. When we arrived to our cabin the heater was on which made it nice and comfy. The cabin we got had 4 beds for 5 people (e.g. parents and 3 kids), but they all bunk beds and very very old. We had to split and sleep on separete beds as during every breath you take the bed is shaking heavily which intterupts the sleep of another person, especially if they are on a bed above/below you. That's actually very sad, considering that paid for the cabin same amount of money as we could've rent airbnb at Fairlee, but we wanted to try this holiday park specifically. All beds had a set of a clean sheets and towels, even though on couple of them I found stains (that are probably iremovable). The blanket we had on the master bed had cigarrete burned holes (or similar). The floor in the cabin was very very dirty, which made it pretty disgusting to walk on. We also had a TV that we didn't know how to turn on and a small freezer. The cabin itself as pretty comfy except for the dirty floor and dirty ceiling full of died insects. When I walked to take a shower I met about 4 girls that were checking the shower temperature, cause apperantely for couple of hours there was no hot water ONLY in the women section. Men's section in the same block had it. So we waiting, nothing happend and we all (5 women) had to walk all around the park looking for other shower blocks. Because it was past 6 and it's winter time, it was dark and for some reason the park doesnt have any outdoor lights. So I got lost on my way back and had to call my bf to meet me, because this place is like an ant nest - impossible to get through especially during the night time. With this girls we found another shower block that only had 1 single shower and we all had to wait in line. Btw the non working one had 4 showers, which is still very little, considering amount of people staying in the park. The shower and toilets looked very dirty and unmaintaited. The entry to the park had a code for cars that also stopped working, so at some point they just opened it for everyone to pass. So I wouldn't say that it worth to stay there for the money we paid.

The location is next to the road, so there will be noise at night when cars pass by quickly and the houses here are generally not soundproofed. But if the room is near the parking lot, maybe it can be improved. Everything else is perfect, because there is a living room and an open kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a single bed and one with a double bed), a separate bathroom with dry and wet areas, and a hair dryer, which is a great deal

Great location right in the city center. They have a private parking lot, but it costs NZD 25 per night. You can park in the public car park across the street for NZD 5 per night instead. The facilities are comprehensive, the bedding is comfortable, and it's surrounded by dining options and a riverside park.

It's just a few minutes drive to the airport so good for staging your late or early flights. Easy check in and helpful staff. Room was just enough in terms of size and bare amenities. There is a common kitchen which we did not use. The room shower drainage was slow to clear and paint work starting to peel. Otherwise it was ok.

We arrived on a cold evening. The front desk was able to provide us with an upgrade from King to King Studio. Was pleasantly surprised on the spaciousness and amenities provided. A small kitchen with induction stove, a big microwave, dishwasher, and a fridge. In the washroom, a towel heater, washer and dryer was very convenient and make our stay comfortable. The AC is strong enough to provide a comfortable stay during the winter. Clean room and everythings new. Power sockets are conveniently located. Personalized check in and check out time is not 24 hours but it's possible to do by contacting earlier. Plenty of free on-street parking is available from 6pm to 9am and the hotel does provide charged parking spot for NZD20/night. Location is super convenient if looking to walk around the downtown area with the Victoria Square just 10 minutes walk away and Market St just 15-20 minutes walk. It's also walkable to the Botanic Garden. Overall, a surprisingly pleasant place and would like to stay again if I'm back in Christchurch. All photos are mine and none edited.

This hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the Intercity bus terminal. Its convenient location puts major tourist attractions, supermarkets, and restaurants all within walking distance. What I appreciated most was how kid-friendly it is. It started with them gifting my children bird plushies (worth about $15) at the souvenir shop, and there's also a kids' play area. This was a lifesaver when the kids got tired of sightseeing and perfect for burning off energy before bedtime. Regarding amenities, they lean heavily towards sustainability, so if you want to be extra comfortable, it's probably best to bring your own. They provide a hairdryer, iron, towels, shampoo, and coffee/tea, but no water, toothbrushes, bathrobes, or slippers (which might be standard for hotels in New Zealand). Tissues are provided but not replenished when used up. The central heating didn't seem to work very well, which was a shame, but we managed with the extra blankets they provided.

Great service. No need long checkin process at counter and went directly to room where the keys were located. Love the designated parkng space so there is no need to worry about no space after going out. Owners were very friendly. very comfortable apartment. Not much in the way of views from inside the apartment especially as I was on the ground floor but good location where the great views are a just across the road.

This accommodation is massive. The front desk even gives you a map at check-in to show you where to park and how to get to your room. So, I'd suggest leaving your luggage in the car until you get your room key. The location is unbeatable, right across from the Tekapo Visitor Centre, and within walking distance to the supermarket, dining area, and the Church of the Good Shepherd. However, I do have to mention some downsides. Being close to the lake also means being close to the main road. Even after 10 PM, you can still hear cars driving by. Plus, you can't really stargaze from the balcony because the headlights and streetlights from passing cars are too bright.

Kevin and June are friendly and approachable. The rooms are provided with the basic amemities. The location is convenient since we are driving. The only drawback is our rooms are on the upper level and there is no elevator.

Our first stop in Christchurch was at this hotel, which was super easy to get to from the airport by bus. We got off and walked less than ten minutes to find it – very convenient. There's a temporary drop-off/pick-up point right outside the hotel, which is great for taxis or if someone is dropping you off/picking you up. We arrived almost an hour early, and luckily, our room was ready, so we could check in ahead of time. I didn't see anyone who spoke Mandarin at the front desk then, but the check-in process was still seamless and smooth! My family mentioned that a Mandarin-speaking front desk staff member was there when we checked out the next day, which shows the hotel is quite thoughtful. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to nearby attractions and markets, and getting around Christchurch is easy from here. The room itself was quite spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. My only minor feedback is that some of the room's fixtures and amenities felt a bit dated, so those with a strong preference for brand-new facilities might want to consider this.
