Hotel Dengan Pools di Jiangsu, China

We had a perfect stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou! The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, consisting of two connected rooms. One room featured a king-size bed, a large living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a huge bathtub. The second room had two single beds, which was perfect for our two adult children. The layout was very thoughtful, with two separate bathrooms and toilets, plus an additional guest toilet in the living room. With four of us staying together, we never had to wait for the bathroom — a huge convenience! The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and a pagoda, making it feel like a scenic attraction in itself. As a special bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary 60-minute Hanfu experience, allowing us to take wonderful photos around the property. Honestly, the hotel is so beautiful that you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds without leaving. Another thoughtful touch was that each room was provided with an entire carton of bottled mineral water, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, an exceptional stay with spacious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Suzhou!

I stayed at this hotel over a weekend, and it was completely sold out (fully booked). Having lived in Nanjing previously, I know this hotel is quite famous, but I honestly cannot understand the five-star rating. The room wasn't dirty, but it was incredibly poorly maintained. The lobby is gorgeous, and the first-floor restrooms gave me the impression that the whole place would be pure luxury, but the room itself was, at best, a three-star experience. The issues were clear: The wallpaper was peeling, the furniture was scuffed and worn, the ceiling was very dirty, and the sink was separating from the counter. The hotel needs a massive, urgent renovation to truly justify calling itself a five-star establishment! The location is excellent, and I have no complaints about the cleanliness. The front desk staff was very cordial and polite. However, I sent a message via the Ctrip app before my stay, and it was never answered. Upon arrival, we were offered an upgrade to a ”lake view” on the 23rd floor. Frankly, it was nothing special. The windows were not exactly clean on the outside, and the view didn't impress me. I appreciate the hotel for the upgrade, but much more improvement is needed. Hotel prices in Nanjing are quite high, especially the weekend I stayed due to the marathon. However, paying 355 yuan for a ok hotel was not worth it; I should have spent a little more for a place with newer facilities and better aesthetics. I've stayed in many hotels across China, and I can guarantee this one is nowhere near a true five-star rating. I thank the kind staff for their service, but the management needs to address the urgent maintenance issues. P.S. Oh, and for those who don't speak Chinese, watch out for those master switches! (Last pic) I pressed one before bed and all the lights went off, and I thought, ”Wow, that's handy! One switch to turn off everything in the room, I like it.” Turns out, that switch didn't just turn off the lights—it cut all power to the room. So, our phones were completely dead when we woke up in the morning! 🤡

If you visit Yangzhou, this is the only hotel I recommend anyone to stay at. It has the gorgeous Chinese garden that spreads out for miles. I stayed in building 3 (the only building offered on the internet when I booked). The hotel is connected (walk over the bridge) to the Slender Lake. Staff were very courteous and helpful. My room was tidied up everyday. Breakfast was not include in the room rate but there is a Starbuck nearby where I had my morning coffee and pastry. The room has a balcony, overlooking some trees and other building. Most of the restaurants/eateries were closed (probably due to low season). However, there are a lot of local restaurants in the old town area and Guan Dong Street; it costs about 10 Yuans to take a taxi to get there.

Very good hotel. We would rate 98 out of 100. Great location (photo 1). Located on top of subway line 1 and line 2. Restaurants, upscale shopping malls and hundreds of local shop line the neighborhood streets. Soft but firm mattress, down pillows, down comfortable feels like sleeping on air in the clouds. Bathroom shower has strong water flow with unlimited hot water. The soaking tub was a real bonus. Safe, quiet & clean neighborhood. No sign of crime, gang tags, homelessness, drug ******* which is throughout Europe and the western hemisphere. Great price. Fast check in and out. Only problems, TV had only CNN for western news, (which is useless) and the sound was so low we could not hear it. Which is the only ways to watch CNN, but we could not hear HBO. The shower had tiles with soap scum (photo 2). We travel the world, and really enjoyed this hotel. We will stay here again in our future trips to Jiang Shu

Excellent hotel with great location. Garden is very nice overlooking slender west lake, we made use of package photo shoot that made the trip memorable. Mr Guan, the hotel manager and his colleagues were also very helpful, he helped us recover my daughter’s phone left at the taxi ; overall very good and friendly service. 2 night package was a good choice for my family; gave us sufficient time to enjoy the hotel facilities and its service.

Excellent location not far from the Wuxi railway station, lots of food and malls nearby, staff were polite and friendly. Definitely recommend to those visiting Wuxi

Wuxi Taihu hotel is a gigantic high-end hotel located next to Taihu lake. Beautiful interior design. The rooms are big and clean. It has one Chinese restaurant, one buffet restaurant and one lobby/Starbucks bar. They all close too early in my opinion. Unfortunately, the buffet restaurant was reserved by a big group and was inaccessible for dinner during my stay. The bar was disappointing. We were the only guests. Also they don't serve wine by the glass. The other bar-club on the 9th floor was closed, as was the nightclub. Breakfast was good, but crowded. Nothing is accessible at a walking distance and since there are no bikes for rent in the area, you'll need a car or a taxi to get around. So overall a beautiful and fine hotel with, however, room for improvement for an international clientele.

第一次來這邊選擇這家酒店，體驗感滿分。位置好找，導航直達，停車位置充足。大堂乾淨整潔，整體環境讓人很放鬆。房間大小適中，佈局合理，設施維護得很好，都能正常使用。衞生把控很嚴格，地面、桌面、衞浴都特別乾淨。工作人員服務態度很好，待人真誠，不會刻意敷衍，住着舒心又踏實，已經推薦給朋友了。

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The front desk people and all staff members were friendly and helpful. The resort’s location is perfect, walking distance to the slender lake east entrance and next to the Song Jia city park. Breakfast with wide varieties was delicious. All my family members loved their stay.

Impeccable location, impeccable room, impeccable experience in general. The hotel is located in a very new and bustling commercial area. If you come via the metro line, there is an exit located directly inside the 万象天地 mall, and there is a lift in the mall specifically for hotel guests. The room itself is spacious and clean, spacious enough to accommodate five adults easily. There is also a very nice Suzhou garden at the courtyard. The breakfast is also decent. In terms of location, the hotel is a walking distance away from some of the major tourist spots, such as 山塘街，留园 and 西园寺. Special thanks to Ms. Liang Yan Ling, who had been helpful for our stay there. Overall, we are quite happy with the stay, and I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with their family.
