Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and the subway exit is right outside the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water supply was stable. The front desk staff were efficient with check-in and very friendly. The hotel facilities were comprehensive. The environment was quiet, and both transportation and parking were convenient, making it suitable for both leisure and business travel. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an.

Found a hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xi'an! The location is excellent, and transportation is very convenient. The exclusive rooftop viewing platform offers amazing photo opportunities with the Bell Tower. All facilities and amenities are well-equipped, with thoughtful details throughout, and the service is attentive and friendly. It's truly a perfect place to rest during a trip. The brunch, afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and even a small souvenir upon check-out all demonstrate the attention to detail and care provided.

My stay at the Renaissance Hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is incredibly convenient, with the subway station nearby, making it easy to visit all the major attractions in Qujiang. Yet, the hotel is tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle, providing a quiet and comfortable environment. The hotel experience was excellent. The Wanfengtang Museum on the fifth floor is a major highlight; being able to admire ancient artifacts right where you're staying truly captures the cultural essence of Chang'an. The public areas are stylishly designed and perfect for photos. Breakfast offers a good mix of Western and Chinese options, including local specialty noodles. Ivan, a staff member, was polite and efficient, making the check-in process smooth. Whether you're visiting Xi'an for tourism or business, this is an excellent choice. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit.

This is an apartment hotel, and it has all the amenities an apartment should have: a fridge, washing machine, microwave, induction cooker, and even tableware. It's perfect for extended stays of several days. The swimming pool and gym are also fully equipped, making for a cozy and comfortable stay. The selection at the East and West buffet breakfast is a bit limited, but it's exquisite and delicious, with different offerings each day. The Xi'an Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda are within walking distance. The Bell and Drum Towers and the Ancient City Wall are about 6 km away, and shared bicycles are very convenient for getting around!

I came for a staycation the night before school started, and I was torn between the InterContinental Economic Development Zone and the InterContinental High-tech Zone. Since I hadn't been to the High-tech Zone one, I decided to give it a try. The hotel opened in 2019 and was renovated in 2023. It's located next to Yanping Gate, with plenty of good food nearby, though it's a bit far from tourist attractions. As a Platinum Ambassador, I was pre-upgraded via email to an open-plan suite, but due to a cleanliness issue, I was moved to a one-bedroom suite. The room featured Byredo BLANCHE toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. It's worth mentioning that the bathrobes in the room were unique and very comfortable to wear. The overall decor of the room was dominated by dark-toned stone, a classic InterContinental style. The biggest highlight of the one-bedroom suite was a huge circular bathtub, about a meter in diameter, which was incredibly comfortable for soaking. This bathtub might just be the best in Xi'an. Before checking in, I had heard that the hotel's F&B was excellent, and my experience confirmed it. The lounge's afternoon tea was decent, though it did include carbs like Liangpi or Liangmian (cold noodles), which is very Xi'an. However, the happy hour was fantastic, with about 7-8 hot dishes, many cold dishes, and a wide selection of drinks. A bartender from the lobby bar even came specifically to mix drinks during happy hour. The overall quality of the lounge could rival the Ritz-Carlton Xi'an. The breakfast selection was even more outstanding, with freshly made Roujiamo (meat burgers), Cheong Fun, and beef noodles, all tasting delicious and full of local flavor. And because it's in the High-tech Zone, there were fewer children in the lounge, making the overall experience much better than Marriott's lounges. The service is another aspect of this hotel that deserves high praise. It's truly surprising that a hotel in Xi'an, which is often considered a service 'lowland,' can provide service standards comparable to luxury brands. All the staff were very enthusiastic, professional, and attentive. At breakfast, all staff members would kindly greet you, and because the breakfast area is quite large, they would also help you get some food. Regarding service, I must specifically commend Fiona & Rita from the lounge, and the duty manager Jennifer. Due to staying up late watching the US Open, I only got a quick glimpse of the fitness facilities. The changing rooms had plunge pools, and the pool water temperature was moderate, though the length was a bit short. It meets standard five-star expectations. Overall, the hotel industry in Xi'an is very competitive, with the W Hotel flagship, the Hualuxe and Westin near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, two JW and InterContinental hotels in the High-tech Zone and north of the city, and two Grand Hyatts and one Hyatt Regency already open, with Park Hyatt also on the horizon. The name InterContinental High-tech Zone might easily be overlooked among these, but among all the hotels I've stayed at in Xi'an, this one definitely ranks in the top three.

What I liked most about the hotel is that it has a small children's pool with a higher water temperature than the adult pool, which made it very comfortable for my child to play in. We mainly chose this hotel because of this small pool. The service and hygiene were excellent. We were upgraded to a garden view room, which was very quiet and had a balcony (though it only overlooked trees with no particular view). The bathtub filled up quickly, and the water quality was clean. The lights in the room were a bit strange; the bathroom light would turn on automatically if you got up at night but wouldn't turn off automatically, requiring a trip to the master switch by the bed. There's a deposit, but WeChat Pay and Alipay are accepted, so you don't necessarily need to use a credit card. The deposit was refunded about an hour after check-out. Breakfast was plentiful.

I chose this hotel in Xi'an, and the breakfast was good, with a generous breakfast manager. They had Hu La Tang (spicy soup), Rou Jia Mo (meat burger), and Biang Biang noodles. 1. Upon arrival, the hotel's revolving door, which seemed old, hit my elderly family member, causing them to fall. I found the revolving door to be too narrow and too fast, making it unsuitable and a safety hazard. 2. I'd like to commend Ada, the duty manager that day, for her prompt handling of the situation. She arranged for my family member to be taken to the hospital for X-rays and examinations. Thumbs up to this manager! 👍 3. We arrived at the hotel at 11 AM. After my family member fell at the entrance, I noticed a hotel doorman and another person responsible for the entrance quietly discussing something. This was very unsettling and made guests feel uncomfortable, as if there was a disconnect between their words and actions. On October 3rd, around 10:30 AM when we were checking out, there was a slightly taller security guard at the entrance. I was with a pregnant woman, an elderly person, and a child, and I asked him to help put our luggage in the car trunk. The security guard, however, refused, saying he needed to maintain order at the entrance first. Our car was right there at the entrance; shouldn't he have offered a hand to put the luggage in the trunk? Even in non-five-star hotels across the country where I've stayed, the security guards always help with luggage. Therefore, the management and standards for security at this hotel are inadequate. The first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel is the security at the entrance, and this deserves a negative review. Good things should be praised, and shortcomings should be criticized; otherwise, how can there be improvement?

Arriving weary and tired to be welcomed by lively, friendly locals having drinks by the roof terrace pool. This is not the welcome I expected to Xi’an at all! But it was very fun. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I understood what was going on, and striving to make adjustments to my booking details where necessary. The distance from the centre means much less traffic when travelling to and from the station or other sites - making the location very convenient. The food and drinks by the roof terrace have a very wide selection, which is all delicious and comes with great service. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is excellent! It's surrounded by snack stalls, and there are many small alleyways in Xi'an with 1-yuan skewers. Plus, they have their own parking lot, which is a huge bonus. The service was also very good.

Hotel has direct connection to Terminal T3 at Xi’an Airport. Entering the T3 departure at door 322 and you see the hotel entrance at the opposite site of the departure hall (2nd photo). You’ll arrive the 3rd floor in the hotel through this path. There is a hotel bus from the 1st floor of hotel to Terminal T5, departure time of hotel busses (valid in August 2026).
