Hotel Dengan Pools di Yunnan, China

We stayed 3 nights at a river view room which was clean and well appointed. The service was excellent, they serviced our room and helped me print out a visa. The location next to the river is quiet and relaxing to see the boats go by. Breakfast was understaffed, since they rapidly ran out of food, plates, cups and couldn't cook or re-fill food and drinks. So go early for breakfast. It takes a long time for didi car to drive up to the hotel. Be sure to choose a route that avoids the traffic bottlenecks.

Our stay was truly wonderful and beyond our expectations. From the beautiful surroundings to the heartfelt service, everything made this a very special experience for our family. What impressed us most was the amazing team behind the hotel. From the front desk, to the activity organisers, to the restaurant staff, everyone was warm, friendly, helpful, and attentive. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. It is not easy to find a hotel where the service feels so sincere and consistent in every part of the experience. The room arrangement was one of the most unforgettable parts of our stay. Waking up to the breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was simply amazing. The view received so many compliments from our friends and family, and many of them even asked us more about the hotel because they were so impressed. It truly made our stay feel extra special. A very special thank you to Jennifer, the Front Office Manager, for her prompt replies and thoughtful arrangements before our stay. Her care and attention to detail made us feel reassured even before we arrived, and we really appreciated all the effort she put in to make our stay so well arranged. Another highlight was how kid-friendly the hotel is. There were so many enjoyable activities for children, especially the animal feeding sessions and campfire dancing. Our child enjoyed them so much, and seeing her so happy made the stay even more meaningful for us. The fact that she is already asking to come back says everything. Breakfast was also a wonderful part of our stay. There was a good variety, the food was enjoyable, and the setting was beautiful. Starting each morning with the peaceful view of the lake and mountains made the experience even more special. This hotel truly raised our expectations of what a great and luxurious hotel should be. It is not only a beautiful property, but also a place made special by a team that brings so much warmth, care, and dedication to every guest’s stay. Congratulations to the hotel for having such an outstanding team and such a wonderful place. Thank you for giving our family such beautiful memories. We will remember this stay fondly.

The room was spacious and bright, with a great view, spotless clean, tidy, impeccable housekeeping ensures every corner is clean, with no odors in the bathroom. Comfortable bedding, soft, skin-friendly and hygienic, very good shower with excellent water pressure. The lighting system that meets all preferences caught my attention, it was possible to have completely bright light, half light or low light and light focused only where it was needed, in this sense I felt myself being in a 5 star hotel. The hotel's attention to detail was evident. When first arrived we were very unsure about the place, because there wasn’t any sign in the building saying it’s an hotel, I thought it was an AIRBNB. The elevator and the carpet in the hallway did not match the excellent quality of the room, we thought we had been fooled by the photos on the app. Fortunately, the room itself was even better !!!! Traveling light, carrying the extremely necessary, it’s so helpful being able to use the washing machine, the hotel even supply laundry soap. Highly recommend it and will stay here again! PS:-Foreigners not familiarized with address system in China, as a reference there is a school next to the hotel - QICAI YUNNAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL- ( took a picture but cannot read the name of the school, show this picture to someone when trying to locate the hotel).

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just steps away from the entrance to Green Lake, which made it very convenient for morning and evening walks. Our room had a beautiful lake view, and it was truly a highlight of the stay. The hotel thoughtfully installed a screen on the windows, so we could open them in the evening and enjoy the cool, fresh air without needing to turn on the air conditioning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to recommend places to see and kindly assisted in arranging taxis for us to get around. Breakfast was also a standout—very generous and varied. In particular, the multigrain bread was one of the best we’ve ever had. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return again.

Deutlicher Unterschied zwischen den Bildern und der Realität. Nur das Zimmer sah so aus wie auf den Bildern. Pool nicht gepflegt und lädt nicht ein zum reingehen. Auch das Frühstück ist atmosphärisch das krasse Gegenteil zu den Bildern. Alles andere als eine entspannte Urlaubsatmosphäre. Andere Gäste lassen schauen beim Frühstück ohne Kopfhörer Filme ohne Rücksicht auf andere Gäste.

Location close to night market. As location close to river, though rooms were clean, there were small insects in the room. Appreciate the pickup only from the airport, driver also upselling his service for tours. Expect some noise as we could hear all to commotions downstairs, with lots of people and vehicles going past. Room facing river had good views. Breakfast was alright.

Starting from good things. Room with private hot spring was nice and clean and bed and bed linen was great. Despite hot spring pool was leaking and needed to refill constantly. But no problem with that if water supply is turned on and you can operate yourself with valves. Hotel staff recommended many places for eating outside. Thanks for that! We arrived before check in time and asked to spend our time near the pool area which was not problem. When I was looking for toilet then lady from shop told to me that I should go outside the territory and use toilet which is for camper van people. And it was not toilet but old school ditch. Fortunately it was cleaned. Lot of things are in real life different than in pictures what you can find in web pages. Many hot springs was closed, on site was not operating restaurants and bars. Only you can order food from app or go outside. Area is under the airplanes take off route that means in daytime lot of noise. About 6pm domestic water supply was turned off and situation lasted until our leaving next day about 11am. Hotel staff wrote that if you want to use toilet I should let them know and they will find a solution. No shower or washing. Breakfast was simple. In the breakfast area is operational coffee machine but for some reason lady behind the table told that not possible and drink cold pre brewed ice coffee? I hope that it’s not connected with lack of water supply. Machine may be filled with purified bottle water not local tap water.

剛到酒店門口，工作人員就主動幫忙拿行李，完全不用自己操心。辦理入住的時候前台很熟練。酒店設計比較私隱，和大酒店一樣外來人員不能到客房所在樓層，點的外賣前台管家會幫忙送到房間門口，特別細節的一個點她們不會一直敲門，會在管家羣裏給發消息。完全不用自己下樓跑一趟，對於帶了一堆行李、不想來回折騰的我們來説，真的太友好了！酒店的下午茶，顏值和味道都在線，還有清爽的特調飲品，環境也被綠植環繞着，氛圍感直接拉滿！

We had an amazing time at Aranya resort. Had to booked this pretty last min cause the previous accommodation cancelled on us 1 week before the trip. The accommodation is located higher than ground level - which is only accessible by car. But you get a clear view of erhai lake. Room was big and spacious, with basic necessity included. Only drawback is no shelter from the time you alight the car to the room, and weather was erratic during our time there, hence there were times we got drenched.
