Not a very good welcome after long drive. Car park not booked …no indication one needed to. Room gloomy and small, one hard chair, balcony only one chair too. Bathroom inadequate for 4 star hotel, bath needs upgrade, no tissues. Wardrobe has irritating hangers bolted on so you cant pinch them….not really necessary, impossible to hang things up on. Restaurant good though and service there excellent. Wont be back, not until they upgrade

I used the gym, and it has modern Technogym equipment, so I was able to log into my account. We didn't participate in the evening entertainment or the afternoon buffet so unable to comment on this. The hotel and the room we stayed in are spotlessly clean, and that makes a huge difference and is reassuring. Staff are pleasant and helpful, particularly on the Guest Experience desk, which may explain the minimal information imparted at check-in. Having the ski hire available on the premises was a bonus and the lockers are adequate for 2 pairs of skis and boots. You're not asked what equipment you are using, when you are issued with your key, so imagine if you snowboard as 2 guests you would need 2 lockers. There's ample room to get your gear on and the check in to hire equipment is a good idea. Costs are reasonable for skis for a week too. The shuttle bus drivers work extremely hard and are attentive and helpful. They work tirelessly running guests to and from town and are v frequent. They are a credit to the hotel so big thanks to them. There is no shuttle bus after 7pm but you can walk into town, and back ( the latter if you have the grit to walk back up the hill fulled by a few bombardinos,or are prepared to pay €10pp). The food is plentiful and very flavoursome and good quality ingredients, with options such as beef fillet, roasted joints, fish, pasta, salads, cold meats, cheese, soup, sushi, and pizzas made at a dedicated station in the buffet restaurant which is you are a Crystal guest is where you will dine. However, what significantly let's it down is the temperature of the hot food, tho it isnt! I'm not sure if the bains marie aren't filled high enough, and the water kept hot enough under the ceramic dishes, but often the food is luke warm at best... which is extremely disappointing and spoils the food. The heat lamps are useless, and plates are cold for hot meals. Pizza is cooked and laid out, too, and kept under heat lamps. It's the biggest complaint of the guests if you read the reviews and for a 4/5* hotel management should really look at this, as if it wasn't for this reason (I love a good meal after being out all day) then I would return next year, but I really don't want to experience it again, as I wouldnt look forward to my evening meal and it would spoil my trip. It's a shame for the chefs, and support staff who prepare, present and serve the the food. The lukewarm/cold temperatures spoils good food and your meal experience. This is the same at breakfast time, too. The drinks are expensive, at the bar and in the restaurant. We recently arrived at the Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc, and our stay so far has been nothing short of magical. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a breathtaking winter landscape, with fresh snow transforming the surroundings into a true fairy tale. The hotel itself is stunning, with its elegant design perfectly complementing the beauty of the area. The staff have been exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. We are staying in a Junior Suite on the first floor, and it has impressed us with its spacious layout, especially when compared to accommodations we’ve experienced in Chamonix. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, we are thoroughly enjoying the serene winter scenery, which adds a sense of tranquility to our stay. Our stay is still in progress, but we’re already enjoying every moment and look forward to experiencing more of what this exceptional hotel has to offer. P.S. It’s a beautiful lovely hotel to stop and have a very good night sleep before starting a long journey. The room was spacious so it’s brilliant if you do have a big dog! , Big comfortable bed for a good night sleep and lovely and welcoming staff both at the reception and breakfast room. Enough shops around to top up whatever you need and honestly ..yes.. I will stop there again !

We got married in La Salle and had our wedding reception at the Relais Mont Blanc Hotel, as well as staying in the hotel for the weekend. The hotel was absolutely fantastic and we had such a wonderful weekend. The bedrooms were very luxurious and the lounge was very cosy especially with the fire on. Tiziana and her team were fabulous, and they made sure that the whole weekend went very smoothly and that we had everything we wanted. Our wedding day was incredible and Tiziana made sure that the whole day went smoothly, her and her team were there to assist us and our guests with anything we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious, and the chef is very talented, his meals were exquisite, and very well presented. The whole team were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel as it is pure luxury and the setting is amazing. If you're thinking about getting married here, then please do, you won't regret it! We had the most magical weekend and we made wonderful memories. Thank you to Tiziana and all her staff, I would not hesitate to go back, and will definitely go back again. Despite its purported four-star rating, the establishment falls significantly short, aligning more closely with a two-star facility in terms of quality and service. Firstly, the hotel's infrastructure appears to be trapped in a bygone era, with no evident modernization since the 1990s. This extends from the rooms to the common areas, all of which lack contemporary comforts and amenities. The rooms, in particular, are in dire need of an update; the bathrooms feel antiquated with doors that won't properly close, the floors are marred by scratches, and the technology is virtually non-existent. The beds and wardrobes are basic and uncomfortable, contributing to an overall lack of hospitality. The staff's demeanor, especially at the reception, was unwelcoming, often bordering on rudeness. A particularly unpleasant encounter involved Giovanni, the shuttle driver, who exhibited unacceptable behavior by shouting in front of children, simply because I chose to open my own door. Such incidents cast a shadow over the entire stay, making it far from the relaxing family retreat we had hoped for. The hotel's location, adjacent to a main road, subjects guests to constant noise, reminiscent of being trackside at a Formula 1 race. This, coupled with a central heating system that is only operational for a few hours each day, made for an uncomfortable and chilly environment. On a slightly more positive note, the restaurant staff were a welcome exception, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism. However, the food served was basic and lacked flavor, failing to meet the expectations set by the hotel's purported star rating. Well-positioned, modern hotel with abundant breakfast and friendly staff. A private, bright balcony added to the comfort of my room. The highlight was the very professional in-house guide, Tiziano Murgia, who was available to guests in the evenings for advice on routes to walk, activities and transport solutions. He was experienced, friendly and caring. I spent my days following his tips on where to trek in the mountains of Val Ferret and above Courmayeur, with Tiz responding to me on WhatsApp if ever I sent a message asking for clarification. I had a spectacular time following his directions, including on a satellite GPS app ‘Suunto’ that he suggested that I download. My stay at Le Massif could not have been happier or more complete and I largely thank Tiz for that. I recommend this hotel in beautiful Courmayeur.

Nice boutique hotel with a hot spring spa. There was only this duplex room available, and I took it. Bathroom facilities were good, good constant flow of water temperature and pressure--if you traveled to Italy, you know why I mention this. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast (buffet) was spectacular.

Un albergo molto carino confortevole nella posizione strategica. Camere rappresentano il mood “chic montagna anni 90”, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo staffe gentilissimo, molto disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Ottimo cocktail al prezzo decente. Soggiorno gradevole in montagna.

We had a great long weekend with my wife there. The hotel is perfectly located, a few meters away from the pedestrian city center, and offers outdoor parking. The hotel staff (reception-desk, breakfast-room, shuttle-service) has been extremely helpful, kind and professional throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, and very clean, while the breakfast included a nice variety, was delicious, with lots of local quality products. The daily morning-news copy offered at our breakfast table and the shuttle-bus taking us straight at the central ski lift station were two highlights we will definitely remember. We plan to visit Courmayeur stay again here!

Sono stata per la prima volta in questo hotel storico di Courmayeur, prenotando ugualmente nonostante le diverse recensioni piuttosto negative. Ecco le mie valutazioni : Posizione: veramente ottima in pieno centro con garage annesso comodissimo. Personale : quasi tutto cordiale, gentile e disponibile. Camera : la nostra non era basica, era molto spaziosa ma molto vetusta, direi un po’ troppo. Presente macchina del caffè, cassaforte funzionante e mini bar di cui non ho usufruito. Ho dovuto richiedere il bollitore, ma mi è stato fornito immediatamente. La cosa più fastidiosa è la presenza di moquettes ovunque, ma questo è un retaggio appunto dei vecchi fasti dell’hotel. Il bagno invece è molto piccolo e poco funzionale. C’è una vasca adibita a doccia, che non per tutti risulta molto sicura. La temperatura degli ambienti è troppo alta, tant’è che noi abbiamo dormito con la finestra aperta. Letto enorme . Colazione: per noi all’altezza di un cinque stelle. Presenza di angoli sia dolci che salati con molta scelta. A parte e’ possibile ordinare uova fatte in diverse maniere comprese nel prezzo. Pochissime cose sono a pagamento. Sala elegante e molto bella con una vista incantevole . Il Personale ha fatto il suo dovere . I ristoranti dell’albergo non li abbiamo provati perché abbiamo preferito cenare sempre fuori, vista la grande offerta di locali a Courmayeur . Spa: piuttosto piccola, ne abbiamo usufruito per due pomeriggi, visto il maltempo. Noi siamo stati fortunati perché c’era pochissima gente, ma nel caso ci fosse stato il pienone non sarebbe stato possibile rimanerci a lungo .Presente una sauna e un bagno turco e un piccolo angolino con tisana, acqua e frutta secca . La piscina riscaldata esterna non l’abbiamo utilizzata ma non ci è parsa così tanto funzionale. Palestra: piccola, con lo stretto necessario. Un po’ freddina. Spazi comuni interni :molto ampi, ma si nota una certa trascuratezza, che poco si intona con il livello dell’hotel e i relativi costi. Si notano tante cose stonate se si guardano i particolari. Spazi esterni: molto belli credo anche nella bella stagione. Ho cercato di essere più coerente ed equilibrata possibile. Concludo dicendo che sicuramente è un hotel storico e che conserva appunto il fascino degli antichi fasti, ma avrebbe bisogno di una remise en form piuttosto importante per dare un servizio e degli spazi migliori ai clienti storici ma soprattutto a quelli nuovi. Da provare se vi piace il genere.

The check in process took a bit longer than expected. However, the staff did their best to assist us on every aspects. We stayed in the two bedrooms executive apartment which is newly refurbished and clean. The apartment is spacious for 6 people to share with well equipped kitchen. The room is only about 5 mins walk to the slope and cable car/chair lifts. Offers a great ski in-ski out location. There are shops, restaurants, bar, supermarket and butcher within the residential area. We are planning to go back again in 2025, however the prices on rooms are not available yet.
