Here are a few suggestions for Hotel Himalaya: 1. The front desk and reception staff are polite and friendly, actively assisting with various issues. 2. However, due to outdated facilities, such as the bathroom, the water contains sediment, causing itchiness after showers. 3. There is no water dispenser, and using bottled water is not environmentally friendly. 4. The gym and some parts of the building are under renovation, resulting in noise pollution.

The hotel staff is very courteous and the food at the hotel is delicious. It's located very close to Lord Pashupatinath temple, hardly 5 minutes walking distance. Very close to the airport as well.

Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!

Keseluruhan hotel tidak buruk, ia berada di kawasan pagoda, bukan di Thamel. Terdapat dewan sutra di hotel, dengan sami pemastautin, dan terdapat juga program yoga percuma di hotel. Penampilannya sangat cantik, dan merupakan pengalaman yang jarang berlaku untuk duduk di atas rumput dan bersarapan dengan santai menghadap kuil. Bilik ini sangat biasa. Ia sepatutnya sebuah kuil yang telah diubah suai, dan kemudahannya tidak sebagus hotel rangkaian domestik. Walau bagaimanapun, keadaan keseluruhan hotel di Nepal adalah begini, dan kami tidak boleh memaksanya. Yang ini melebihi purata dan mempunyai nilai yang baik untuk wang. Ia berada dalam jarak berjalan kaki dari Kuil Manyuan, Kuil Shechen, dan lain-lain. Excellent Stay and Warm Hospitality at Mercure Kathmandu This was my first time visiting Kathmandu, and Mercure Kathmandu truly left a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality stood out. A special mention to Paras, who picked us up from the airport and helped us with check-in. He was exceptionally kind and professional, and even shared some very useful information about getting around Kathmandu — which really helped us make the most of our trip. We had booked a room with breakfast for only one person, but the hotel kindly extended complimentary breakfast for both of us — a gesture we truly appreciated. The room itself was awesome — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The toiletries were complete, even including a razor and shaving cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff throughout our stay were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Mercure Kathmandu to anyone visiting the city — great service, comfort, and warm hospitality all around!

清潔でよいホテルですが、窓が開きません。それはかなり息苦しく耐えられないものでした。 ホテルにキャンセルを申し込みまましたが、キャンセル時間の前なのにできないと言われ仕方なく宿泊することに…他の部屋ならバルコニーがあると言われて、18000も多く払うことになりました。 一度キャンセルして、その部屋を取り直ししたかったのですが叶いませんでした。よけいに高く支払うことになり残念な旅行になりました。ホテルとサイトの連携が全く機能していないのが残念です。

My recent stay at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and professional service. The rooms were spacious, modern, and offered stunning views of the city and mountains. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, with both local and international options. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable—especially the concierge team, who were incredibly helpful with travel tips and arrangements. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu for business or leisure!

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

Comfortable and affordable stay. Helpful staff. Easily accessible to many points and yet away from the hustle and bustle of city. Had issues in room ac, but the staff were quite helpful to resolve the same. A small gym could be a helpful addition if possible and the cleaning on some of the days could have been better.

I stayed at the hotel on Christmas Day, and the breakfast was a special Christmas version with an amazingly generous selection. They even offered complimentary hot wine, which was a lovely surprise. However, since the hotel facilities are a bit old, the hot water supply could not keep up when all four of us showered. We had to space out our showers, so a little planning was needed.
