Booking of the hotel thru trip.com was so smooth and hassle-free. When we arrived at the hotel, there was an issue with the beds. Initially, we booked family room with 1 double bed and 4 single beds since we are a total of 6 (we paid for the additional pax). However, they told us that we and the other guest booked the same room at the same time. Since they arrived earlier, they got the room. Thus, the room that was left is a room that has only 5 single beds. Good thing, the staff thought of a solution instantly. Overall, the hotel’s service was great. Furthermore, they offered wide variety of delicious foods. Kudos to their chefs!

In Butuan for vacation since it’s been 5 years. Friendly staff..but when we went, I didn’t realized the swimming pool was under repair so that was a little disappointing . I’ll make sure to call next time.

I didn’t expect how nice the Watergate Hotel is. I chose this hotel because it’s close to the airport. I only stayed overnight and will surely come back for my next visit. The hotel is clean and cozy. The staff are friendly, and the service is great. I highly recommend this hotel to others or friends.

Siargao Island Villas was an amazing place to stay. It was close to many shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can hire a bike and book some good day trips at receptions. We will definitely come stay there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Trogon's Perch in Siargao for the second time in a week, and I'm already planning my next visit. This hotel is a clifftop sanctuary that offers the perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty. Nestled atop a breathtaking cliff, it provides stunning views of the ocean, ideal for anyone looking to reconnect with nature or find a peaceful retreat. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with plush bedding and a minimalist design that emphasizes relaxation. Each room boasts large windows that frame the beautiful seascape, allowing guests to wake up to the soothing sounds of the waves. The amenities at Trogon's Perch are excellent, from reliable Wi-Fi to friendly and attentive staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable. Its location strikes a perfect balance between seclusion for peace and proximity to General Luna for those interested in surfing or nightlife. My stays here have been absolutely rejuvenating, and I highly recommend Trogon's Perch to anyone visiting Siargao. Whether you're coming back from a surf trip or just need a break from the parties in General Luna, this hotel is the ultimate place to relax and recharge.

The Grand Palace Hotel was a real let-down, starting with not living up to what they say. They claim to provide tea & coffee in the rooms, but there's no tea. Their web site says they have an airport shuttle, but they don't. Breakfast was disappointing too. Only 2 juices. Luckily one was usually pineapple. As well as the usual lukewarm breakfast items, they had some random cakes that were as bland as cardboard. Fortunately, you can walk through the Annex, cross the road and a few metres to your right is a bakery that sells doughnuts for 6 pesos that are vastly better. The hotel has guards with assault weapons and dogs. Seems pretty ridiculous and unsafe. Also the dogs spend most of their time living in cages alone next to the swimming pool. I had two bookings here, the first in a big king room. (They call it a ”matrimonial” room!) The WiFi mostly didn't work. It's totally inadequate for the number of people who use it, especially if a big business group comes in for a conference during the day. (The DHCP server just runs out of addresses and you can't connect until someone else disconnects.) Even when it connected, it wasn't very fast. One other issue I had was the appearance of cockroaches every so often. The small single room was a vast improvement, as well as being half the price. While the single rooms have no windows, they have two massive advantages. Firstly, fast WiFi that works. The single rooms are in a hall behind the reception area and have their own access point that works brilliantly and isn't overloaded. Secondly, the small room doesn't have so many places for roaches to hide. I didn't see a single insect intruder. It was one of our favorite resort in Butuan City This was our First Resort Escapade for the year 2023 and it was indeed a well spent Staycation at Almont Inland Resort. Room Accomodation : The best area indeed since it is near the Kids Pool and we can enjoy the accomodation while letting the kids enjoy playing with other kids in the pool. Food : We do love thier variety of pizza flavors a must try at this place. This were aside from the sumptuous buffet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amenities : The resort's pool is one of the best here in butuan City. You can enjoy it from 7AM up to 9PM and have your foods serve at the cottages near it. One thing I love in this resort is the value of nature. Beautiful sceneries and very lavish green sorroundings that help you calm and forget the busy and noisy scene of the City. We will again visit this place from time to time since we love to bring our family in this resort and get a escape of a busy City Scenario. A great place to Relax and Unwind..

Room was very big!!! Its also super clean but the lighting of the room can be much more brighter. The staffs in the kitchen are superb! Love their accommodation. I super love the beach view especially when having breakfast ❤️ My only con was that I lost something here when they cleaned the room (idk why they cleaned the vanity. That’s weird). The night it got lost I reported it and they said that they will replace it, but then the morning came and I called for an update, they said that they have nothing to do with it. 🫠 It made me go nuts so we switched hotel after this. Ps the item that got lost was an essential and u cant find that in siargao. Also, there are bedbugs on our first night but they were quick to respond regarding the issue.

Relaxing and chill resort to stay at on the lovely Sairgao island. Good location 15 mins walk into general luna town. Rooms were fine decent size large very comfy bed for this type of accomadation. good size bathroom with hot water. lovely gardens surrouding the rooms from entrance to beach very green and well looked after, wifi in resturant was ok but luckily my room near the resturant on quiet days i could get wifi on my balcony two chairs on the balcony. Sun loungers on the resorts beach were nice and relaxing. would have prefered open and drawn curtains for nice view of the gardens. Sairgao inn resort is around 45 mins from airport mini buses wait has one exits the airport on arrival, resort will arrange mini bus return transfer to the airport for 350 peso. Resturant was nice and food was plentiful and good at fair price, theres two girls who seem to run the resort who done an excellant job, resort can arrange tours. I would recommend this resort for a stay on Sairgao island.

Saya telah menginap di banyak hotel. Ini sahaja yang menghantar surat alu-aluan. Terdapat juga buah-buahan yang serius di atas pinggan. Makanan Korea di restoran lebih mudah memenuhi citarasa Cina. Buddha's is a small, almost family-like, cozy resort with approximately 10 rooms, all in generally good condition. We experienced an issue with a non-flushing toilet for about two days, which was attributed to heavy rainfall. This unexpected rainfall also prompted us to leave earlier than planned, although it did cause a two-day delay in our departure due to canceled flights. The Buddha's team is exceptionally friendly and helpful, truly top-notch, not only when it comes to surfing but also with any other requests or concerns you may have. The location, like many neighboring hotels, is not right on the beach but on the other side of the road, which can sometimes be audible. Nevertheless, you'll feel surrounded by palm trees and other lush vegetation, almost as if you're in the middle of the jungle. Dining occasionally at the resort's restaurant is worthwhile; while the menu may not be extensive, the quality of the cuisine is outstanding. However, fear not, as there are plenty of other delicious restaurants nearby to explore as well.

Came back for dinner and not only the food was presented beautifully but also tasted delicious! Hannah our lovely waitress ensured we had all our needs and also accomodated our toddler with a couch and a fan as she was asleep at this time. The place is very clean and beautifully managed which was very inviting to us. Such a memorable experience that we didn’t plan after our tour was cancelled last minute.Highly recommend ! We stopped over one night. Had extra bed ordered and paid for. Was a matress only. No issue for one night , might be if staying longer. Room clean and tidy and facing the pool which was decent size. Didnt use hotel for dinner as our daughter wanted a McDonalds , a short 10 mins walk away. Other restaurants and malls nearby, so ideally located. Convenient for the airport and our flight back to Manila. Breakfast was pleasant, although limited in choice, served outside overlooking he pool. Would definately recommend and we will stay again on next visit to Philippines
