We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!

Very nice stay. Service was excellent. The room was clean and the amenities were complete. Breakfast could be improved though. There were not much choices and the daily spread had little variety if you stay miltiple nights.

Absolute Paradise I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special. One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical. The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals. We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no. This hotel was initially a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms through Trip for adults and the kids. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that one of the rooms had been cancelled and we only had one room. All my bookings were still showing in the Trip app so neither myself or Trip had cancelled anything. I contacted Trip and they were excellent and worked very hard, but unsuccessfully to get our room back... It was absolutely peak season and the room had been given to someone else. We were able to book a room Westown 2 nights later so the kids ended up staying at the hotel and us adults, luckily were able to find another hotel for 2 nights and then moved back to Westown hotel. When this issue occurred, I felt we were treated incredibly poorly by the hotel. They made it clear... If you book through a third party booking agency, the issue is with you..not our problem... Considering most of their bookings are probably through third parties, this attitude is poor. Once we moved back into the hotel for the remaining 3 days, the hotel facilities were good. Swimming pools were good. There was a cafe, couple of restaurants, and small gym. Location was 10 mins on a tricycle into the centre of town and there were always tricycles available. A shuttle was available to and from the airport. Negatives were as follows: - Hotel saying we cancelled one of our rooms even though we hadn't. Kids had to stay by themselves in the hotel. - Hotel didn't care less about us because we made the booking through a 3rd party. - Disappointing that probably 50% of the menu foods were not available in the Filipino restaurant while we were there...usual excuse of supplier issues was always given.

The Hotel is 2mins from the departures door of the airport. Staff service is superb but that’s a standard in the Philippines. Rooms clean. The only issue I had was with the wifi in the room which didn’t work and the hotel stuff were not able to fix. Overall in my opinion this hotel is better value for money than others in the same range.

The hotel is beautiful!! Our room is amazing!! Love all the sculptures and fine details they have all over the hotel. The pools are huge and water is nice and warm! The staff is welcoming and friendly! Would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to other travelers.

Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there

We only stayed one night but elsewhere for 6 nights we would liked to have found this place earlier and stayed for the whole week very nice staff nice food lovely room and a great view will definitely stay here when in Puerto galera next 👍👍

The service and amenities are superb. The personels were very polite and accommodating. They gave us a very quiet room which is located on the 6th floor right on the roof deck. The food is good, breakfast is served in buffet which we really enjoy. It was such a memorable stay and we will definitely come back here.
