Asked for a room near elevator when we booked ahead online in early evening, but when we got to our room it was as far away from the elevator as possible. Don’t know if that was all that was left at 9:30 when we arrived or what. Didn’t seem very full. Didn’t complain because we didn’t want the hassle of moving our stuff. Also, many Fairfield and Marriott hotels, including this one, now have very low toilets. Might be good for kids, but for older travelers with bad knees who are not otherwise “handicapped,” (which is a sizable part of the travel community) this is a problem as it is hard to get up and down. Taller toilets or routinely putting grab bars in all the bathrooms would make things better.
I few issues with the room…the safe was just the back part as the entire front part not on the wall, the toilet you had to flush 3 times before it would flush, the tub had no drain plug stopper, turned the tv on and it wouldn’t shut off and tried plugging my phone charger into the wall and it fell back out of the plug onto the floor. I just dealt with everything and didn’t say anything to the hotel.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast area was clean and the food was decent. They had hot breakfast of sausage parties and scrambled eggs one day and sausage links and cheese omelet the next. They always have a waffle maker and prepared oatmeal. They also have a large selection of snacks and toiletries in their conversion area. The location was a bit odd to access and the view wasn't anything to write home about and it's right next to train tracks, so I gave them only a 3 for that.
The room was very clean as well as the public areas that we hung out at. I was really impressed with the breakfast. So many choices. Cereal, yogurts, chessey eggs, bacon, pancakes, bagels and more. The staff were really nice too. I'll definitely stay there my next visit to Cincy which will probably be next month.

Although I asked for a 2nd floor room when I booked I ended up with floor level room & they were all booked so it's all I could get. 2nd floor is better so you don't hear people walking around. The room was clean & offered all I needed for my 2 night stay including a fridge & microwave. I didn't like that the bathroom doesn't have towel bars to hang towels & all the linens are on shelves near the floor instead of up higher. I would definitely book here again in the future.
The service is okay. Our room appears clean. However, the gym is really small and does not have much equipment if you compare it with other hotels. The food is just your typical breakfast, but at the lower scale.No yogurt, just 2 kinds of fruits, and not a lot of choices. The worse thing though was that when we checked out, we realized that several car windows were smashed. Our car was spared though. Safety can be an issue here too.

GGuest UserIt was a nice place to stay and near the major water parks and the haunted house. The restaurants on site were also good. The pool was nice too.
A lovely property. Located on Lake Erie, the Lodge at Geneva provided plenty of enjoyment for our family, especially our grandchildren. They played mini golf; rode the provided bikes (although a little lite on available bikes for little ones) on paved trails; swam; ate smores; enjoyed the Landlubbers Loop of the small peoples ropes course; and of course enjoyed the cuisine. Then, the second day... I highly recommend a visit to the Lodge at Geneva
GGuest UserI had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience with the front desk staff. I arrived at the hotel Sunday 01 march around 12:30 PM and politely asked if early check-in was possible. The two women working at the reception told me that no rooms were available until 4:00 PM. I said that was fine and that I would wait in the lobby. However, while I was waiting, several other guests arrived and they were checked in immediately. It was very clear that rooms were available, which made the situation feel unfair. Later, I approached the desk again with the same guests who were checking in and said that I had a reservation for today. The receptionist acted as if nothing had happened and looked visibly annoyed. During check-in, she tried to charge my card again for the reservation, even though my booking had already been fully paid online. When I saw the amount and asked what it was for, she could not clearly explain it. I had to tell her again that the reservation was already paid. Both receptionists then started checking the system and appeared irritated and nervous in front of other guests. Eventually they explained that there was a security deposit of $50 per day, which I completely understood and agreed with. However, they attempted to charge the wrong amount again, and I had to question it once more before they finally corrected the charge to the proper deposit amount. Overall, the situation was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. First I was told to wait until 4 PM while other guests were checked in, and then I had to deal with confusion about charges that should have been clear from the beginning. The hotel facilities are good, but the front desk service was very disappointing and needs improvement.
LLINMEIThis hotel is extremely clean and has all the amenities you need. There is an oversized Wal-Mart supermarket near the hotel for easy shopping. Breakfast is average, the breakfast place is small and slightly crowded.
GGuest UserThe check-in was a disaster from the start. We arrived 45 mins after check-in time and our room wasn't ready. While the clerk was friendly it's unacceptable that our room wasn't ready AFTER check-in time. She was apologetic and seemed distressed about the situation but still doesn't help with the fact that our room wasn't ready. The clerk asked if we minded moving to another floor instead of the one assigned. Ok, stuff happens. BUT when we get to the room that she moved our stay to it smelled worse than any room I've ever been in. Smelled like pure sulfur and the carpets were questionable at best. The beds looked like they had just been remade. Went to desk to try and get another room. Stood there for almost 30 minutes and no clerk. Go back to the room and waited. Went back to desk and just as we are getting to the desk no one is at desk again as the clerk is disappearing around the corner. Stood and waited another 15-20 and no.clerk. We finally gave up and brought our own blankets in from the car and slept on top of the provided sheets and blankets. Pretty disappointing out of a Hampton to say the least. Never in my life have I had this experience with a Hampton and to be frank I probably won't return. I paid a substantial amount for this room and the experience has soured me on returning.
WweihuaThe hotel is close to the airport, and there is a free car to pick up and drop off the airport. Clean and tidy, and the room is quite big. There are many places to eat in the surrounding area, as well as gas stations, parking is free, it is recommended to stay
We loved our stay at the Drury Plaza, Downtown Cleveland! The staff was all very nice. Most hotels in this area and price range didn't have a pool or spa, so the swimming area felt like a bonus! It was clean, and very enjoyable. The kick- start they offer was amazing! It was an entire dinner included in the hotel price! PLUS 3 adult beverages per adult staying! They were classic drinks, think cranbery vodka and whiskey and cokes. Breakfast was also delicious! It had a lot more to offer than just the normal hotel continental breakfast. The eating area was super clean and kept up nicely. We walked 5 minutes to the House of Blues for a concert. The walk was pretty strait forward to the Downtown area! The hotel itself was pretty clean. It's a bit out dated (no USB outlets, the plumbing is obviously old, and drained a bit slow, small tvs, old carpet) but it didn't really take away from its old time unique charm with all the marble and lighting. The beds and pillows were super comfy! My son did mention he wished he would have brought a cozy blanket, bc theirs are pretty thin. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we are in the area! We will also look into staying at different Drury locations when on trips!
MMadtigerI can not say enough good things about this place. Not only are they the nicest staff but the rooms are amazing clean smell clean and a very big note. TRIP booking is very ery either outdated or it's staff are the dullest. Twi e i have been booked at the wrong Hotel by Trip staff. This last time not only was ot wrong but the address to the hotel is listed wrong. I had such a terri le time with support getting a room correctly and charged correctly the Hotel Night Manager took my phone and had to get the situation correct be abuse the same thing over and o er was trying to happen with mind u no refunds no help and told I was ignorant a 3 hour wait for TRIP support to still not help fix the issue they created but it was now 3am. That manager not I ly got my room but gave me a free upgraded suite for all the trouble I had been caused not to mention the now mess they had since bookings were going to the wrong hotel under their name. It was a nightmare for the second but this Hotel and staff are by far the best I have ever had the pleasure to meet. THANK YOU SO MUCH. (FROM THE MIDNIGHT INDIANA DASHER going to sleep in parking lot.) You guys are Rock Stars
