We came here without a car having got busses from Bilbao. Not easy finding a hotel with a pool and within LaGuardia so worked perfectly. Arguably not a four star but was comfortable and and pool was lovely.
Would recommend for the price

What an amazing hotel, the staff were most friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the old town makes this a must stay location. The breakfast was spectacular and the rooftop pool and bar were fabulous. Overall an excellent location and will be a repeat stay for me in the future.

Gran hotel tanto por su ubicación como por sus servicios. El personal de la recepción super agradable y el personal de limpieza igualmente. El desayuno buffet muy variado con unos productos locales de calidad. Repetiremos seguro en nuestra próxima visita a Durango.

El lugar estaba súper limpio, las habitaciones espaciosas y el baño muy completo. No se escuchan ruidos del
pasillo y se duerme muy bien. El único pero es que está un poco lejos del centro, aunque hay un autobús que en 40 minutos te deja en el centro.

New hotel very clean nice rooms and wonderful pool.
It’s 25 min walk to the Centro but there is a bus for two euro and tax 9 euro, in the evening it’s hard te get a taxi and find the bus. WE had to walk back twice.
The door locks make a very hard nice which awakes you in the morning

Ya conocía el hotel y sus puntos fuertes siguen siendo la ubicación, la comodidad de las camas, la calidad de las toallas y la bañera de hidromasaje en caso de contar con ella en la habitación. No he disfrutado de la comida en ninguna de sus opciones por lo que no puedo opinar al respecto.
En cuanto a las carencias, la estructura de construcción de las habitaciones hace que se oigan y se perciban con claridad las conversaciones de habitaciones aledañas (unos buenos tapones lo solucionan) y la limpieza en esta ocasión me ha dejado y por el polvo acumulado en el mobiliario y los pelos en el baño. El SPA está obsoleto, estaría bien actualizarlo. A pesar de todo la estancia es cómoda y repetiría pero como ya sugerí anteriormente, un hotel de 4 estrellas se define por la atención al detalle.

We were very pleased with our stay. Excellent value for money: reasonable price, great location - everything is close by, including attractions, transport and good restaurants.
The service is at a high level: the staff is friendly, quickly responds to any requests. The breakfasts were a pleasant surprise - fresh products, good choice, everything is delicious. The rooms are clean, neat, with a nice design and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The only small minus is that the soundproofing with the corridor could be better. If someone passes by or talks in the corridor, it is audible. But if you do not sleep until late and get up around 8-9 am, then this will not cause much discomfort.
Overall - a great place for a short or long stay. We would be happy to come back again.

AAlbertExcellent. The complex is part of the luxury Arima Hotel, and although the entrance is through another entrance at the back, you can use its services, such as the restaurant, which is very good. The rooms were very new, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Free street parking is available.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very clean and the service is good. Because of the long business trip, I was a little confused about the itinerary. I should have checked out but didn't. I didn't realize I should have checked out until I went to the hotel at 2 or 3 in the afternoon and couldn't get in. After explaining the situation to the hotel, I didn't incur any fees. It's more humane than domestic hotels.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel because it was in a quiet location , the room had double glazed windows that allowed me to sleep soundly for more than 8 hours each night and I could reach the city easily by taking the bus.
FYI the taxi fares from and to the San Sebastian airport was 90€ in total, which the hotel has no say on or any other hotels for that matter.

GGuest UserNice hotel close to the city center. Friendly staff. Parking is an issue, if you don’t get to book your space then you have to park outside in a public parking and both are expensive.
The rooms are modern and the swimming pool at the rooftop is useful. Also the spa.

Sspring1205I feel very good when I come to this Radisson Hotel in Bilbao👍The room is very large, the bathroom has a bathtub for a bubble bath🛁It is very refreshing, the breakfast🥣 has a la carte food that is very good, and it is opposite the British Palace for shopping, which is also very convenient👍

JJimmy _ValenciaWe had such a great time this year for Semana Grande. And the Axel Hotel was in the perfect location for us. Right on the river next to a great spot for drinks and food. The rooftop pool is also a great spot to watch the fireworks! The staff was so helpful and friendly. And although we didn't need housekeeping while we were staying there they offered every day to clean our room or swap out towels or necessities for us. What a great experience. We will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis is a lovely hotel with very high standards. I would have rated it excellent, but one lady at reception, I don’t know her name, she’s young, tall and wears glasses, she was not at all friendly or helpful on various occasions we spoke with her. The rest of staff we met were very nice.
