Hotel Dengan Spa di Marche, Itali

While the Lobby and restaurant are very nice the hotel could really use and update. The hallways are dark and really outdated. The AC gets shut off every night so it is hard to sleep because the temp goes from cool to hot. Every day when the room was made up they cranked the temperature up so it was very hot after walking up 2 flights of stairs then up the hill to the hotel. The wifi was terrible, video would buffer every 45 sections if it ran at all. The staff was great though.

Hotel of choice for a family wedding - the American family was all here. Staff is outstanding and the rooms clean but quite tight even by local standards. Suitcases had to be completely unpacked and stored as no way to open except on the bed. We stayed 5 nights, breakfast exactly the same every day. Bonus was they had some GF options for our Celiac’s niece. Great proximity to the beach and the promenade. About 4km from the city center and it was walkable. Serviced by the circular bus very economically. The price was certainly right! All in all we would stay there again.

L'albergo avrebbe bisogno di essere ristrutturato. Allo stato non dà assolutamente l'impressione di essere un 4 stelle ma piuttosto un 2 stelle e mezza (tre non le raggiunge). Il personale, soprattutto quello alla reception è stato gentilissimo e cortese a cambiarci la stanza di prima assegnazione che, posta all'ultimo piano, era di uno squallore unico. Ce ne hanno poi concessa una al primo piano, grande, ma con tendaggio lacerato e rubinetteria risalente verosimilmente al secolo scorso. In compenso l'hotel è ubicato in una posizione centralissima e vicina sia al mare che al centro storico. Mi domando: perché non intervenire rimodernando l'albergo?

If I could I would give it more than 5 stars. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Very clean, the Staff were so friendly and helpful. My spa treatment was amazing. The breakfast was incredible and there was so many options. My family also came to have a meal and they were very accommodating for a gluten free family member. The views were stunning. Me and my boyfriend had the best time and we can’t wait to come back sometime. Thank you so much ❤️

From the minute, I arrived it was an amazing experience. Staff couldn’t do more for you the quaintness and beauty of the hotel. The location is perfect. The dining room staff was amazing. The food even better loved every minute that I stayed there walked across the street and on the beach location is perfect for restaurants and walking Into city. Center Will be returning next year🇮🇹💕

The Ego hotel is situated in an easily accessible area with good easy parking facilities. The hotel itself is very reasonable for what it offers, very clean and a great spa to unwind. Above all the staff are very helpful, especially Simona!!

A truly wonderful experience. Friendly staff, very welcoming. Loved our room and facilities. Great Bistro with amasing views and a wide range of food and drink. Gi Gi, looked after us really well. We booked 2 nights in Life Hotel, expecting a 4 star experience reflected in the cost - €150 per night including breakfast. It fell well below our expectations, worst of all being dinner in the restaurant on the night of our arrival. The real positive of our stay was the breakfast and the staff working at that time - they were wonderful. Our room was comfortable but lacked anything that could be considered 'deluxe' - apart from the fancy lighting system perhaps and a really good shower. The bed was comfortable. A large balcony in our room had 2 upright chairs and a coffee table with an ashtray - more relaxing furniture would have made it a place where you could chill out, watching the sea. There was no such zone to be found anywhere in the hotel. The lowest point was dinner - don't order the hummus as it's a tiny portion and not hummus at all but puree chickpeas with not even a hint of tahini. I ordered fish - branzino gratinato - it was terrible, could have been frozen but was definitely over-cooked. My husband had ravioli most of which was uneaten as it was like cardboard. The side of vegetables was also a sorry affair and went back almost untouched. All of which drew no comment from the waiter - service was perfunctory at best. When we complained to the reception staff they smiled and nodded, nothing more. And then on check out, I was informed that there was an extra charge for parking in the hotel garage - it was the first time I'd heard of the charge and in a hotel asking €150 per night I would have expected it to be included. The spa is also extra, by the way. So, if you're looking for 4-star standards look elsewhere. (we had a fabulous meal in hotel Bianchi Nicola on our second day).

Stayed two nights as part of a visit to a factory in Apiro. As Apiro has no hotels we stayed here which is 30mts drive. The hotel is well manintained, clean and neat. The breakfast was reasonably fine. Rooms had free water, a safe, fridge, toiletries, TV with all Italian channels, free wifi. There is a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor. For ironing there is a room on the 3rd floor. The location is in Jesi and overall we all enjoyed our stay. Only issue I had is no housekeeping on the next day. However after reporting the housekeeping provided clean towels and 2 water bottle.

I’m a little torn about what to write about this hotel. We came from Orvieto in Perugia where we stayed at wonderful places with great service. Everybody was incredibly nice to deal with smiling accommodating, but there were big issues that really affected our trip. First, it is a great location, a couple steps down to the beach across the street and the hotel shuttled us up the hill to town for some dinner reservations. When we arrived, the room was very dark head one skinny door that had a view of the beach and we booked a superior room with beach view and in the photos it showed all glass on one end with the view of the beach and that’s not what we got, but they did move our room to the one in the picture after we ask. This of course was a bit of a hassle we’ve already moved things into the room, took up time from our day, but they did move us. The room itself was very nice immaculate, super contemporary. The whole property looks new and is quite posh when you arrive. Breakfast is made to order and excellent, most of the views you see from balconies are from the breakfast room. Our view actually looked kind of on an angle across the marina, but still really lovely. The blackout shades don’t quite cover the very end of the windows. Odd but it does let some light in and the morning. The bathroom was huge and there is a good amount of storage, room, safe, etc . Now for the bad. If you’ve not been to Le Marche and your American be aware that you probably won’t see another American the whole time you’re there which we thought was great :-) also be aware that every single thing is booked well in advance, sometimes a year in advance that goes for beach, chairs, seats, and bars and every single restaurant. We did not realize this and it was never mentioned by the hotel that we could reserve their beach section chairs or their seats on the roof . the very pleasant staff gave us beach towels and never mentioned to tell us that we need to go to a specific set of chairs on the beach where we would get preferential treatment. And a discount. I don’t even know what we should’ve paid but we paid $40 a day for the three days there at the beach and sat all the way in the back so we didn’t even see the ocean. We just looked at a sea of other people and umbrellas in front of us. The gentleman that rented us our chairs saw our towels when we were leaving the last day and asked if we were staying there and when we said yes, he told us we should’ve gone to the chairs next-door and we would’ve been sitting near the front. He had told us that most Italians rent them for the year even when they’re not there they’re booked and they can’t let you use them so many of the chairs especially those in front sit empty all the time. . When we brought this to the attention of the hotel, they said that they are all reserved there as well. But nobody told us to reserve them when we made our hotel reservation. No one told us that it was ever an option or that we would have any

La camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato era un pò piccola ma pulita, i mobili datati. Lo staff disponibile, cordiale e professionale. Buona la colazione ma esclusivamente dolce. Mettere degli affettati e qualcos'altro di salato sarebbe un plus per l'hotel. C'è un parcheggio interno ed uno spazio esterno con tavoli e sedie molto carino e curato. Difficile raggiungere il centro a piedi perché pur non essendo particolarmente distante (20-30 minuti a piedi) c'è una bella salita al rientro. Noi abbiamo utilizzato l'auto e parcheggiato in uno dei parcheggi a pagamento, vicino al centro.

Qualche precedente ospite si è lamentato dell'hotel ”retrò”, ma secondo me è un ”plus”, la camera si apre con una chiave! YEAH! Vi è mai capitato di fare 10 piani ..scoprire che la tessera magnetica non funziona ... E riscendi nella hall e si risale (pure la pressione)... E striscia sulla serratura elettronica ad una ”certa” velocità ... E ristriscia... Magari ci ”scappa”...Ed una volta aperta la porta all'avanguardia trova la fessura ed infila la tessera .. E comincia a litigare con un display ... Coi comandi luci e riscaldamento Etc.etc.. degno da LAUREA DA TURISTA! A me piacciono le cose ”pratiche” e funzionali che in questo hotel Villa Pigna troverete di sicuro, a cominciare dalla prenotazione... Per accelerare le pratiche burocratiche alla partenza saldo SEMPRE quanto dovuto al mio arrivo, convinto di aver scelto bene grazie soprattutto a Tripadvisor. L'hotel è accogliente, ampio parcheggio, la mia camera aveva un balcone (condiviso con altre camere vicine ma ”diviso” con alcune ringhiere) fornito di sedie e tavolo, una TV molto grande, ottimo materasso ed un ampio bagno (con una doccia molto ampia e comoda!) con TUTTO il necessario. La stanza è molto silenziosa e pulita, non abbiamo provato il ristorante. La colazione abbondante e squisita, la sala ampia. Vicino all'hotel segnalo la presenza di un supermercato. A TUTTO il personale va il mio personale ringraziamento, impeccabile ed efficiente. Molto buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

This is a nicely located hotel on the seaside in San Benedetto del Tronto. Almost all rooms have breathtaking sea views, breakfast quality is average and rooms have limited sound insulation that might be annoying for noise sensitive people. Rooms are large with very simple furnitures and decorative elements but equipped with kitchen and dining table. Location of the hotel is very good with easy access to the beach and restaurants
