Hotel Dengan Spa di Oita Prefecture, Japan

I’m glad I chose this hotel. It’s a 5-minute walk from the station. The staff are very helpful. The room was on the 12th floor with a stunning view. The room is spacious, though you can only unpack one large suitcase if you’re on a long trip around Japan with a group. The room also has a spacious bathroom with a deep bath. The room may be lacking in cotton buds, disposable razors and washcloths, so you’ll need to head to the onsen changing room. The onsen on the 14th floor offers excellent views. Breakfasts are comfortable by Japanese standards and not too hard to eat.

Our stay has been nothing short of amazing! We were grateful for hotel shuttle service to the hotel as it saves us the trouble of climbing up slopes with our luggages. When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm welcome of the staff with free drinks provided at the lounge. The Sora Room is well equipped with amenities and comes with the private onsen, for you to enjoy any time. Recommend to get the ice (outside room) for a cool ice coke after onsen. Definitely have to give the Japanese breakfast and Kaiseiki dinner a try. Every single dish is so delicious and palatable. The hotel is located at Kanawa, within walking distances to the popular attractions such as Hells of Beppu and Onsen Museum. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Beppu!

사장님과 직원분들이 정말 친절했던 숙소였습니다. 유후인 버스터미널에서 내려서 숙소까지 걸어서 약 18분 정도 걸렸어요. 길 대부분은 평지라 걷기 어렵지는 않았지만 숙소에 가까워질수록 마지막 구간에 비포장도로가 있어서 캐리어를 끌고 갈 때 소리가 조금 크게 나는 편이었습니다. 숙소는 전체적으로 정갈하고 아늑한 분위기였고 내부에 골동품샵과 빈티지 의류를 판매하는 공간이 함께 있어 구경하는 재미도 있었어요. 차를 마실 수 있는 프리 공간과 간단히 식사를 할 수 있는 공용 공간도 마련되어 있어서 여유롭게 머물기 좋았습니다. (웰컴티와 인절미같은 일본 전통 떡을 주셨습니다.) 온천은 한 공간에 2개가 있는데 저녁 시간에는 약 45분씩 프라이빗 온천으로 이용할 수 있고 아침 시간에만 남녀 구분된 공용 온천으로 운영됩니다. 프라이빗 온천을 이용할 수 있어서 더 편하고 좋았어요. 객실은 정말 깨끗하고 정갈했고 일본식 목조건축 특유의 나무 향도 너무 좋았습니다. 사진보다 실제 공간이 더 예쁘게 느껴졌어요. 체크아웃 후 짐은 유후인역 바로 옆 투어리즘 인포메이션 센터에서 맡길 수 있고 짐 개수에 따라 요금이 달라집니다. 캐리어 하나 맡기는 데 약 800엔 정도 들었어요. 숙소에서 킨린 호수까지 도보로 약 10분 정도라 아침 산책하기에 정말 좋습니다. 점심 시간이 가까워지면 관광객이 많이 몰리니 가능하다면 아침 8~9시쯤 방문하는 걸 추천해요. 겨울 아침에는 물안개가 피어 있고 호수로 가는 길에 작은 절과 숲이 있어서 조용하고 신비로운 분위기가 느껴졌습니다. 어딘가 지브리 영화 센과 치히로 초반 터널 장면을 떠올리게 하는 음산하면서도 아름다운 분위기가 인상 깊었어요. 전반적으로 조용하고 따뜻한 분위기의 숙소라 유후인에서 여유롭게 머물고 싶은 분들께 추천하고 싶습니다.

The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. A solid choice for a comfortable and convenient onsen stay in Beppu.

good value for money! would definitely stay again location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often. food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious! onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins) staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

This hostel is in a building where beppu tower is located. It's clean and comfy 🙂 The female dorm room is big. Showers and toilets are clean, with free shampoo conditioner and shower gel provided for guests. There is paid washing machine and dryer to use. And on the 5 floor the guests can use sauna for free. Only negative point is there are cameras in the female dorm room.

早餐也有不錯的食物提供 唯一不足是酒店停車場在酒店對面 剛好我到達那天下大雨 房間很大 窗外景色也美 下次來會再次選擇

I enjoyed the ryokan. It’s quiet however the downside is it’s location - a good 30mins walk from the main attractions. You can take a cab but that will cost quite a bit despite short distance. The onsen is the bomb. Outdoor and not too crowded. Mostly i encountered only locals / Koreans. The restaurant serves food that tastes like grandma’s cooking. Not the most comprehensive to the palate but it feels like home. Overall, pleasant.

Excellent location - 3 minute walk to train station and mall, good facilities - free ramen, ice cream and sauna, staff were kind and rooms were well laid-out and averagely sized

佐伯駅周辺での仕事のため、こちらのホテルを利用しました。フロントの対応はとても丁寧でした。客室にはテーブルと一人掛けのソファがあり、パソコン作業を快適に行えた点も良かったです。アメニティも充実しており、室内も清潔でした。無料朝食のパンが美味しく、特に気に入りました。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。
