Bo Hotel has the best location, right infront of all the food stalls, shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel is like 5 star, view from the room was beautiful. Best part is that they have Japanese style toilet which my mom loved it. Room was spacious with 2 sofas, we also enjoyed the evening snacks and beer. Breakfast was simple but everything provided from bread, salads, and their Guilin soup noodle was so good. They also have free laundry at 3rd floor. Hotel staff is always available and they replied quickly about our needs and queries. They also helped us to book ticket to Ruyi peak and private car. After we checked out, they made sure whether we have reached our next destination or not! Very lovely staff. Thank you Bo Hotel entire team for making our stay very comfortable and best wishes ! Guys if you are travelling Yangshou, this hotel is the best, I highly recommend you all!

If you are looking for the perfect hotel in Yangshuo, look no further, because you found it. At first I believed that all the hype was just that, but experiencing this hotel is literally a painting coming to life. The service staff is beyond attentive and looking out for your well-being. Bella was our host and, together with her colleagues, was always just a WeChat window away for any request. We needed an iron and it was brought to the room within five minutes. We missed the included afternoon tea the first night, so they put some dessert to the side and brought it, as well as a sweet little Chinese soup, to our room. This is really next-level service I have not witnessed before. Our room was in building 8, which is like a five-minute walk, if you take your time walking. However, they offer to drive you from one building to another in a golf cart whenever you need. You just need to give a short heads-up. The room was simply stunning. We didn’t use the bathtub in the room since we had a wonderful pool right there in building 8. Breakfast was served at building 2, where you can gaze at the wonderful Yangshuo (20-RMB bank note view) karst mountains while munching down on your Western or Eastern-style breakfast. I opted for the freshly made beef noodle soup because, of course! Included in the price is a 30-minute photo shoot with a professional photographer, also from the hotel, who also offers you the chance to put on costumes in the studio, if you want. The photos can be taken in building 2 or 8. We wanted to have them taken in building 2, since the garden offers so many cool and interesting settings. Even a Tolkien-style hobbit house or stairs to heaven. The kicker is that you get them dropped right onto your phone. No waiting needed! Also, if you need to wash your clothes, they have several modern washing machines and dryers on the second floor of building 8 at no extra charge. They even provide detergent, etc. We only stayed two nights, but we look forward to coming back again. Next time I will try not to forget anything in the room, but even for the item I forgot, they generously offered to send it to the next hotel we stayed at in Shenzhen. ”No problem at all,” they said. We were in awe.

A beautiful five-star hotel with exceptional rooms, but details to improve Overall, a beautiful hotel with impressive facilities, wonderful views, excellent food, a great location for exploring Yangshuo and exceptionally clean rooms. However, some aspects of maintenance, hygiene and service fall short of what we would expect at this price point. ROOMS, FACILITIES AND CLEANLINESS The hotel has beautiful architecture and a lovely atmosphere. Our room was spacious, bright, tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable and offered wonderful views. Having stayed in numerous hotels throughout China, we can confidently say that the room was among the cleanest we encountered: truly outstanding housekeeping. Unfortunately, the restaurant restroom was a striking exception. It was dirty and smelled unpleasant, in stark contrast to the impeccable room. A five-star hotel cannot afford this inconsistency: hygiene standards should be equally high throughout the property, particularly near dining areas. FOOD AND MAINTENANCE We really enjoyed the restaurant, which served good-quality, tasty food. Breakfast was also excellent, with a varied selection; the freshly prepared noodles were especially delicious. A few room maintenance details need attention: the silicone seal around the bathroom door was coming loose, the showerhead water pressure was inadequate, and some water leaked from the shower hose’s threaded connection. These are minor defects that did not significantly affect our comfort, but a five-star property should maintain its fixtures with greater care. SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY Staff were polite, professional and helpful. Nevertheless, compared with other hotels we visited across China, the hospitality felt more reserved and less personalised, lacking some of the warmth, attentiveness and thoughtful touches we experienced elsewhere. We were also surprised that guests had to do their own laundry. Several four-star hotels we stayed at provided a fully managed laundry service. Having that option here, even for an extra charge, would be reasonable given the hotel’s category and pricing. A DISAPPOINTING HOTEL RECOMMENDATION The hotel proactively recommended Impression Liu Sanjie and helped us book it; we had not originally requested this activity. Despite the show’s popularity and positive online reviews, we found it extremely disappointing. The lighting was impressive, but the singing was poor, the performances repetitive, and the excessive waving and exaggerated gestures made the production feel simplistic and childish. In our view, it lacked artistic depth, creativity and meaningful storytelling. It might suit families looking for straightforward entertainment, but not visitors expecting a sophisticated cultural performance. Tickets were exceptionally expensive for what was offered, and we left after approximately 30 minutes. When proactively recommending such a costly activity, a hotel should offer an objective, specific description of the experience rather than relying on popularity or reputation, so guests can assess whether it matches their interests. We explained this to the staff. Although it took some discussion, they were ultimately receptive to our feedback and expressed willingness to consider it in future recommendations, which we appreciated. OVERALL Despite these criticisms, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The beautiful facilities, fantastic room, exceptional room cleanliness, views, restaurant, breakfast and location are major strengths. With consistent hygiene in shared areas, closer maintenance checks, warmer hospitality, a managed laundry option and more informative activity recommendations, the hotel could better deliver the complete five-star experience its price promises.

Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

For my last stop in Guilin, I booked this hotel, initially just planning to stay one night. I never expected that the biggest surprise of my 7-day trip would come from this place! Built right by the river, I got to experience fishing by the Li River, even seeing cormorants up close. Sitting in the hotel lobby, it truly felt like being inside a painting, and the whole world seemed to quiet down. I loved it, such a pleasant surprise. Plus, the front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Really great.

I really want to leave a review of the hotel and the area in general. We stayed here with our family and children for two nights. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel and the hosts' hospitality! They welcomed us like family! Warm, thoughtful, and attentive! The boutique hotel is modern and stylish, with a smart home system throughout. Cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, crisp white linens, towels, and robes. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Everything is new and perfect. It's a little piece of luxury, modern paradise amidst stunning mountain scenery! The food is incredibly delicious. We ate all our meals at the hotel and enjoyed every dish! The view from our room was stunning! Special thanks for taking us everywhere and patiently waiting while we explored. They gave us so many gifts! I'd dreamed of a photo shoot, and it was so nice to receive that as a gift! And the trip to the top of the mountain to watch the sunset was incredible, magical! Every moment was taken care of! All our wishes were fulfilled instantly, as if the hosts could read our minds. My worries about insects were in vain. No one bit us. We felt like we were in a fairy tale!!! I'll definitely come back to China again, and I'll definitely come back here and stay at this hotel!

Accommodation is paramount for a vacation. The location of Dufu (the hotel) can be either good or bad, depending on your needs. Since it's located within a scenic area, external vehicles aren't allowed in; you need to rely on sightseeing buses or electric scooters for getting around. However, there are numerous farm-stay restaurants and guesthouses within the scenic area, making eating, living, and traveling very comfortable. For us, who were just looking for a relaxing vacation and weren't keen on ticking off famous attractions, the location was absolutely perfect. It's actually only one or two kilometers from attractions like the '20 Yuan' spot, Xiang Gong Mountain, and Lengshui Pier. If you're not into visiting specific landmarks, it's even more convenient for reaching Xinzhou. The guesthouse offers a free shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station using an Alpha business van, which is truly a godsend. They take shortcuts to avoid traffic, something only they can manage. Our two-night stay here was an accumulating positive experience. Feeding fish in the pond and watching peacocks from next door fly over provided half a day of entertainment. The bonfire-roasted sweet potatoes at night were incredibly fragrant and sweet, and the cocktails at the bar offered a pleasant buzz. The outdoor cinema's projector and screen were top-notch. The cowhide carved chairs in the room were exquisitely crafted, and the camphor wood attic exuded a delightful fragrance. The swimming pool's size and depth were thoughtfully designed to accommodate all age groups. All in all, for an experience under 800 RMB during the National Day holiday, giving it 5 stars is absolutely fair.

I was very satisfied with the architecture and tranquility of The Sugar House. It's a shame that it was too hot during my recent visit, so I couldn't spend much time exploring outdoors. The architecture and scenery here are so skillfully integrated that there's no spot you wouldn't want to stop and admire. Additionally, this hotel offers Black Diamond privileges, which included vouchers and some small gifts – a delightful surprise for my first experience. The room was very clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent blackout curtains, allowing for a very peaceful sleep. The outdoor view was also beautiful; lounging or working on the balcony was quite relaxing. The hotel offers many activities, so even if you don't leave the hotel during the National Day holiday, there's plenty to participate in. Unfortunately, due to my itinerary, I only got to experience the basket swing activity once. Dinner at the restaurant was slightly more expensive than outside, but the taste was decent. Western cuisine seemed to be a slightly better choice than Chinese. Breakfast had limited options, a combination of à la carte and buffet, and the taste was just okay, not particularly delicious. You can ask for dry mix rice noodles, as the default comes with soup, but I found the dry mix to be tastier. I highly recommend the travel photography session. The photographer here previously worked for Earl Travel Photography, so their skills are excellent. The shooting process was very relaxed, and I was happy with the finished photos. Some suggestions for improvement: the service staff seemed less professional. The restaurant staff stuttered when asked about dishes and mostly had expressionless faces. Some of them were interns. Also, the door leading to the balcony from the restaurant had no resistance and slammed shut if you let go, which was quite disruptive during meals. Furthermore, the body lotion in the toiletries was incredibly difficult to squeeze out; it took forever to get any out to use as a body lotion. I might come back again when it's cooler. Overall, it was a good experience, and this was the best hotel experience I had in Yangshuo this time.
