The hotel is conveniently located right next to Budapest Keleti train station, making it easy to travel around the city. It’s only about five tram stops to the city centre, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. If you get a room facing the main road, you’ll also enjoy a great view of the train station. However, there are some downsides. The air conditioning doesn’t work during autumn and winter, so the only option for ventilation is to open the window. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely noisy since it’s right next to a main road where police and ambulance sirens go off very frequently, making it hard to rest. Additionally, luggage storage isn’t free—you have to pay by the hour, which feels a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a great choice for location and convenience, but not ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet or comfort in cooler seasons.

I extended my stay for one more day, really enjoyed here. The hotel staff are so polite and assisted me in everything I needed.

As most reviewers have highlighted, the location is unbeatable for an early morning flight (ours was a 6am departure) - that’s what customers pay a premium price for so it’s not strictly a plus point. There’s a gym at the top floor which is not too shabby. Breakfast starts late at 06:00 so we didn’t manage to try it. The reception suggested we have breakfast at IBIS instead (the two hotels are next to each other with the same entrance and lobby). Service is cold, not rude just matter-of-fact cold. The main downside is the room design. The bed is positioned next to the shower room without a door separating the two. The sound of dripping water from the shower head drove us up the wall and kept us awake the whole night. Oh and there’s no privacy when taking a shower (there’s no shower door remember) so best to travel alone or with spouse/partner

Decent breakfast. Decent room. Friendly staff. Average big chain standard. Location us good with bars, restaurants and supermarkets close, if you are too tired to go fast after a long day of sight seeing. No tea/ coffee in the room but free in the reception - but i like a coffee in my pjs before i dress and face the world.

I would like to say a massive thank you to whoever did our room, she loved the surprise, really appreciated thank you. Great customer service and very nice place to eat and not far away from all the tourists attractions. I would definitely recommend it to others.

The location is good but the hotel itself is located above the club which makes it quite a noisy and not so comfortable place to stay. The room lacked a lot of facilities such as shampoo and bathing stuff as well as the hair dryer, towels were not enough etc. In all it was decent. Nice view from our hotel room too

An outstanding new hotel at the very centre of Budapest. Excellent location, facilities and most importantly staff. They were all very welcoming, always with a smile. Upon arrival i got an upgrade to their signature room and view to Basilica was something special, especially with the Christmas market and night light show. Highly recommended for families and solo travelers due to its location and modern design, breakfast was very good too ❤️

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

We stayed one night at the Benczur Hotel, a building nestled on the beautiful street of the same name. The location was fantastic, quiet, peaceful, and gentle, situated in the diplomatic district, home to many embassies, consulates, ambassadorial residences, and headquarters of international organizations in Budapest. It was just a few minutes' walk to Heroes' Square and City Park with many of the city's landmarks. It was also very close to Bajza Utca station, the yellow M1 line (Europe's oldest metro line), which runs into the city center in a few minutes. The 3-star hotel was quite old, but well-maintained, the quality was still very good, clean, tidy, and the rooms were spacious enough. The traditional European breakfast was also quite varied and suitable for many people. We had a very good night's sleep in Budapest! We will definitely return. Thank you so much!
