Hotel Dengan Bar di North Sumatra, Indonesia

Nice, comfy, and good location. Unfortunately, the air condition of the room that I stayed this time, the temperature is not adjustable. It’s super cold at 20-21 degree no matter how I adjusted. At the end I have to off the AC for my entire three nights stay.

First time stay here, everything was beyond limit. The service was super nice especially Deya, she is being so profesional handling me while check out. And all other staff are amazing. The breakfast also good eventhough it was quite busy. Despite of that, i really had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is relatively new, and the room size and layout are excellent. The staff also provide good service. However, on the second day after it rained, the cold water was very dirty, although the hot water was fine. The location is right next to the train station, but if you walk from the station to the hotel, even though it's not far, the road isn't very pedestrian-friendly (there are barely any sidewalks, and lots of motorbikes).

This was my 6th nights stay with separate subsequent bookings due to unknown situation of our mum's conditions who was in nearby hospital. Everything of this hotel was good and convenient, especially the staffs. Not using the other facilities in the hotel at all apart from sleeping and breakfast.

We stayed here just for one night before catching the train the next day. The room itself was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable, which was perfect for a short stay. However, all the rooms open directly onto the main lobby, so it gets very noisy early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this can definitely be disturbing. There’s also a very large dehumidifier in the corridor that makes a constant, unpleasant noise.

The location is excellent n it is right in the center of medan city. There is a big mall: delipark mall right opposite the hotel w Sogo as the anchor departal store. There r many eateries n cinema available on the top floor. The security of the hotel is very tight that makes me feel safe... The staff over there r there to welcome us to the hotel

The service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.

Room is huge and super clean. Toilet come with bathtub and shower in different cubicle. Absolutely posh. The breakfast is above and beyond. I really enjoy the food as the have so many different varieties and the breakfast also serve on the top floor where the view of the surrounding of medan is part of the meal. Just breathtaking! I would come to this hotel if i were to visit medan in near future!

I recently had the pleasure of staying and overall it left a very positive impression. 🛏️ Room Comfort & Cleanliness • The room was comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. • It was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, spotless floors, and well-maintained furnishings. 🌅 Scenic Views • The views from the room were stunning—whether it was city lights at night or a sweeping horizon during the day, the scenery was truly enjoyable.

Room is good, AC is great. Breakfast is very crowded, room is toosmall. The staff of parking and security did not help much, especially when go out there hotel entering Jl. Gatot Subroto. For is as non-Medan driver, not safe to join the main road without help from security.
