Hotel Santika Padang is about 45 minutes from airport.Check in fast and the staffs are helpful.they told us where to find good local foods.We have welcome drink at the rooftop with good view.room. Is big,comfortable ang unlimited mineral water.location is good near to Padang beach about 15 minutes walk,surrounded by lot of restaurants.good stay.

The hotel is located right in the city center. Initially, I was given a room without an opening window. I asked for a different room, and they provided a new one the next day. However, I regretted the change. The window was poorly insulated, and I could hear all the street noise. The room had all the essentials. The breakfast wasn't really suitable for foreign tourists – it was local, spicy cuisine with no meat. I had to specifically ask for eggs without chili.

Excellent service with delicious food... the outdoor pool is decent, but the water needs to be changed more often... but overall, it's great!

Big room with balcony. Great staff. 24hrs room service. Only is the toilet is not clean. Theres a mold. & look old. But the room is nice. The bed is soft. Sleep well. U can ask the reception to book for a body massage at all times. The breakfast was great with full of local food. Night time they have a live band which u can sing along or just request any songs. The restaurant served delicious food. Its not expensive. Location only 5mins walk to Ramayana & Jam Gadang.

Really like the ambiance, location, fluffy bed including the additional bed thick and fluffy bed. I will come back here because the convenience and comfortable. Maybe hotel need to upgrade the curtain, wash the sofa a bit and maintenance the wall. The small improvement need to do the rest all excellent for me.

Location good, bed comfortable. The room is pretty much run down, mold and moisture on the wall in the room, and in the bathroom. AC very loud. The furniture and seats are stained and filthy. Rooms are not soundproof so you hear everything from the corridor including the hotel music running almost 24 hours.

Everything is good. Near to the main spots like the beach, the old town, china town, pasaraya etc.. The day I checked in to the hotel was my birthday and the hotel and staff were so sweet that they gave me a birthday cake during my stay. I really appreciated it and i never expected that from the hotel.

Clean and comfortable room, strategic location in the heart of the city, close to everything.

The stay was great, but they didn't provide any slippers. I requested them, but they were never delivered, even after I called the front desk multiple times. Oh well.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, I have nothing but praise. A perfect 10! Everything is impeccable, from the room, the bed, and the mattress, to the sheets, the cleanliness, and the shower. And the shower, by the way, is wonderful! The service also deserves a special mention: everyone is extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. I truly have nothing to complain about. For me, it's one of the best hotels in Padang and, without a doubt, it's highly recommended. I'd recommend it with my eyes closed!
