Hotel Dengan Bar di Bagmati, Nepal

It’s my second time staying here, and both times the experience has been great. I landed late at night, and the hotel made sure I didn’t have to wait long at the airport—they were right on time for pickup, which I really appreciated. Food-wise, I was craving steamed momos, and they were good. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but apart from that, everything else was spot on. The room, staff interaction, and overall service were very good.

I really like the environment and the aesthetics of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and well organized. I really like how they used the eco friendly products in the bathroom. The rooms are very spacious. Also, the staffs were very helpful and welcoming. Overall, my stay was pleasant. I would love to stay here again.

Here are a few suggestions for Hotel Himalaya: 1. The front desk and reception staff are polite and friendly, actively assisting with various issues. 2. However, due to outdated facilities, such as the bathroom, the water contains sediment, causing itchiness after showers. 3. There is no water dispenser, and using bottled water is not environmentally friendly. 4. The gym and some parts of the building are under renovation, resulting in noise pollution.

The hotel is conveniently located and the room had a nice traditional design. However, I encountered a strong smell in the room, which made my stay uncomfortable. I burned incense to improve the air, which unexpectedly led to a dispute with the hotel about compensation. The amount they requested was surprisingly high and difficult for me to understand. Eventually, the issue was resolved through the booking platform, but the experience was stressful and not something I expected on my trip. I hope the hotel can handle such situations with more flexibility and understanding in the future

Very convenient location, 5 mins drive to the airport. Remember to make use of the free airport pickup service, its a pain to get a cab from the airport. Room size and amenities are ok for the price. They even provide luggage storage servoce for free.

清潔でよいホテルですが、窓が開きません。それはかなり息苦しく耐えられないものでした。 ホテルにキャンセルを申し込みまましたが、キャンセル時間の前なのにできないと言われ仕方なく宿泊することに…他の部屋ならバルコニーがあると言われて、18000も多く払うことになりました。 一度キャンセルして、その部屋を取り直ししたかったのですが叶いませんでした。よけいに高く支払うことになり残念な旅行になりました。ホテルとサイトの連携が全く機能していないのが残念です。

Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!

Keseluruhan hotel tidak buruk, ia berada di kawasan pagoda, bukan di Thamel. Terdapat dewan sutra di hotel, dengan sami pemastautin, dan terdapat juga program yoga percuma di hotel. Penampilannya sangat cantik, dan merupakan pengalaman yang jarang berlaku untuk duduk di atas rumput dan bersarapan dengan santai menghadap kuil. Bilik ini sangat biasa. Ia sepatutnya sebuah kuil yang telah diubah suai, dan kemudahannya tidak sebagus hotel rangkaian domestik. Walau bagaimanapun, keadaan keseluruhan hotel di Nepal adalah begini, dan kami tidak boleh memaksanya. Yang ini melebihi purata dan mempunyai nilai yang baik untuk wang. Ia berada dalam jarak berjalan kaki dari Kuil Manyuan, Kuil Shechen, dan lain-lain. Superb service from this hotel! They offer free pick up service so I have no worries to travel from airport to hotel around midnight. Their breakfast is fantastic, their staffs are very helpful, one of the staffs even came and asked if I need any bacon and he cooked on the spot for me. I booked a deluxe single room but I get a twin bedroom which is much more spacious. Lovely atmosphere, great location in the city, the street is quiet even though nearby the busy Thamel street. The hotel manager, Mega, is super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Excellent Stay and Warm Hospitality at Mercure Kathmandu This was my first time visiting Kathmandu, and Mercure Kathmandu truly left a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality stood out. A special mention to Paras, who picked us up from the airport and helped us with check-in. He was exceptionally kind and professional, and even shared some very useful information about getting around Kathmandu — which really helped us make the most of our trip. We had booked a room with breakfast for only one person, but the hotel kindly extended complimentary breakfast for both of us — a gesture we truly appreciated. The room itself was awesome — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The toiletries were complete, even including a razor and shaving cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff throughout our stay were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Mercure Kathmandu to anyone visiting the city — great service, comfort, and warm hospitality all around!
