I stayed at Travelodge Hotel Wellington and overall had a good experience. The hotel is located right in the city centre, with a very convenient location. You can access the hotel from two sides — from Lambton Quay by taking the stairs up, or by car via Gilmer Terrace. The hotel has a small gym and a restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was tidy and well maintained. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a good option for staying in central Wellington.

Easy to locate and is inside the airport. Handy for those late night arrivals and early morning departures. Have booked to stay again on my return home to Australia

We enjoyed a couple of nights' stay at this centrally located hotel. The self service check-in and check-out process was relatively seamless and staff were responsive when we requested fresh towels and sheets. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for us, although there is no window (other than a small skylight).

Absolutely loved staying here. Great welcome by staff, excellent room with a congratulations gift for our 20 year anniversary. The decor is cutting edge the whole pkacebus high quality. Absolutely recommend the onside restaurants too.

We had 1 night stay. Good facilities, like pool, Spa, Restaurant, however a few things need to improve to reach 4 star, like stated. Our room was clean and tidy but some lights up in the ceiling were out, basin in the bathroom was very cracked. We had dinner at the restaurant. I ordered pizza, where the dough was slightly undercooked, no crisp, sloppy. Filter coffee at breakfast, that was included had a colour of weak tea. But you were offered to pay extra for a coffee on top of $30, you already paid for a buffet breakfast. Previously stayed here before, but I think it needs a lot of improvements as it's gone down quite a bit.

A great hotel exemplified by the very strong hospitality offered upon check-in. Room upgrade offered for a very small fee, checks undertaken and even a free, warmed cookie. Upgraded room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel is located a 2 minute walk from the waterfront and a selection of great eateries. Breakfast was very good and lots to choose from. Would definitely use again.

It's our second time staying at this beautiful beautiful modern hotel, while the service ,customer service and location was great ,the rooms itself start showing the time ,while the room was fantastic, would do with a bit more attention to detail on the cleaning, still would highly recommend this place .

We enjoyed our stay here at Tryp. The staff were friendly the room was clean and we had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Wellington.

fantastic value for money. One request: please oil the hinges of the door. In a dorm room, every person going in and out makes quite a bit of noise. I was also very happy that the dorm room bunkbeds were king single. Great.

This was a short stopover in Wellington to board the early morning ferry to Picton as the hotel location was perfect for the city and ferry.. However we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Movenpick. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect and more. We were delighted with the complimentary chocolate buffet at 4pm most unexpected but delicious. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
