We checked in on Thursday and received a complimentary room upgrade. The hot springs pool on the first floor was incredibly comfortable and clean. The front desk attendant was very gentle and informative, explaining the hotel's facilities and environment. Two young men kindly helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. The upgraded room was in Building 1, a bit far from the outdoor hot spring pools, so we opted to use the in-room hot spring. A packet of bath salts was provided, leaving our skin smooth after bathing. The first night's minibar was also complimentary, featuring two boxes of soy milk, Coke, and beer, plus a fruit platter. In the afternoon, we went out to take photos. The weather was lovely and sunny, and the flowers, plants, and trees were beautiful. The staff were diligently watering and cleaning, very hardworking. There's also a paid mini-train ride in the park. Our package included six archery shots, half an hour of mini-golf, as well as billiards and table tennis. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts are also available but require advance booking by phone. Our package also included a buffet dinner at the Brilliant Restaurant. Since the buffet wasn't available on Thursday, we were offered three options: a la carte at Brilliant Restaurant with an 800-yuan credit, a more standard 'order anything' menu with common home-style dishes, or a fixed set menu. I chose the a la carte option at the restaurant and ordered five dishes and a mango sago dessert. It was very filling, the food was excellent, and the service was perfect. We had black truffle conch slices, giant river prawns, casserole perilla mountain snails with free-range chicken, mango sago, and cumin pine nut baked lamb rice (which was incredibly delicious, though it took an hour to prepare. The crust was fragrant, and the lamb was excellent). The stir-fried fern shoots with dried shrimp was also very tasty, with a crisp yet tender texture similar to Chinese broccoli. Breakfast was also very rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as steamed dim sum. All the staff were fantastic; they would introduce dishes and help clear plates quickly as soon as you approached the counter. There are also many children's facilities in the park, and it's a pet-friendly hotel with an outdoor pet park. The only downside is that there aren't enough signposts in the park. Even with a map, we still got lost frequently, haha.

Overall, it was excellent. The hotel has a sophisticated feel with brand-new decor, and the experience was great. The attention to detail in their hotel products is truly commendable. The soundproofing was also generally good; unlike other hotels where you can hear the toilet flush next door, there were no such noise issues, which I appreciated. However, there's one small point of criticism, which might be a necessary design choice for the hotel. We found two locked doors in our room with handles, seemingly connecting to the adjacent room. At night, while sleeping, we heard someone twisting the doorknob and knocking from the room next door, which disturbed us. It's quite bizarre, and honestly, this door created a flaw in the soundproofing. It was a frustrating and unacceptable discovery after checking into a Four Seasons hotel. Is this design mandatory? Is it for safety? It's hard to understand. Nevertheless, I'm still willing to give it a 5-star rating; everything else was impeccable.

This is the best InterContinental hotel we've ever stayed at with kids! The location is super convenient, with plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, pharmacies, and other amenities nearby. There's a subway station close by, and it's not a long taxi ride from the city center. The scenery is absolutely stunning; the winter sea is emerald green! 😍 The hotel has its own private beach with fine, clean white sand and recreational activities. You can watch the sunrise and sunset over the sea right from your balcony, with a sky full of colorful clouds and sparkling stars. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. The family suite featured a bunk bed and a 2-meter king-size bed. To my surprise, my 180cm (nearly 6-foot) tall, yet underage, child slept comfortably and was thrilled! The room also came with a coffee machine, and the capsule coffees were all my favorite flavors 😋. The buffet on the first floor was delicious, with fresh seafood and excellent Cantonese dishes. You can buy vouchers on the InterContinental WeChat mini-program for a better price. The staff were professional and skilled; they proactively communicated in advance and were always responsive to any requests, making our stay worry-free and comfortable.

Fantastic room with a view: We stayed in a Deluxe Room, and the 43-square-meter space had a modern design. The absolute highlight was the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay. The sunset in the evening was especially romantic. Abundant dining options: The hotel boasts 4 restaurants and bars. We had breakfast at the all-day dining restaurant on the 66th floor, which offered a wide variety of choices, including fresh coconuts. The high-altitude lobby lounge is a great spot for afternoon tea and scenic views. Excellent wellness facilities: The gym is well-equipped and offers fantastic views. The indoor heated pool is a popular photo spot, with its 'giant moon' decoration in the water perfect for pictures. Convenient location: The hotel has direct access to the RAIL IN shopping mall, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongshuwan South Metro Station, making travel and shopping incredibly convenient. Overall, this was a perfect stay. Shangri-La Nanshan not only impressed us with its stylish design and facilities but also captured our hearts with the warm and proactive service provided by excellent staff like Lydia. We will definitely choose to stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

The room was very comfortable, and the guest relations staff provided excellent service. I had an issue with the screen mirroring in my room, and a very helpful and enthusiastic technician came to assist me. He patiently tried to fix it, and when it couldn't be resolved, he even brought me an external screen mirroring device. However, what really bothered me was the afternoon tea staff. Their service felt unprofessional, and their attitude was quite poor. When I asked a question, I was met with a cold expression and a dismissive tone, which made me feel very uncomfortable. When I tried to order, they just walked past me, muttering ”wait a moment.” I was truly stunned. I really hope they provide better training for the afternoon tea department staff. I won't name anyone specifically.

I initially thought the hotel was inside the Spring Bamboo shoot building, but it's actually nestled beside it, like a young lady leaning against it. The overall South-East Asian style is very comfortable and tasteful, not tacky or ostentatious. The public areas are a bit narrow, giving a feeling of walking through alleyways. The room doesn't have a sofa, just a round table with two chairs. It misses the experience of being able to lie by the bed and enjoy the night view. The walk-in closet is tucked away at the very back, and I had to search for it for a while initially. At night, I could see a concert at the stadium and the night view of Talent Park. The mini-bar drinks and snacks are replenished daily, which is generous. The selection clearly shows thoughtful curation. For this price point, a complimentary mini-bar like this is the best in Shenzhen (Mandarin Oriental charges, Raffles is slightly weaker). On the first evening, they brought a bowl of red bean soup, but it wasn't offered on the second night. When I asked the housekeeping staff, I got the standard 'I don't know, I just started recently...' response. However, there were chocolates with the turndown service. The à la carte breakfast options are quite varied and portions are generous, while the buffet section is smaller. It feels like most hotels that use a non-buffet restaurant for breakfast don't have grand buffet setups, but the food here is refined and worth experiencing. They've opened up two adjacent dining areas, so there's no queuing. For those who prefer quiet, the Western restaurant near the elevator feels like a different world compared to the inner dining area – highly commendable and something hotels with long breakfast queues should learn from. Later, comparing it to other Shenzhen hotels, I felt I might have been a bit harsh on Andaz's butler service. After all, with the incredibly competitive service in Sanya, it's easy to become accustomed to it elsewhere. While there weren't any particularly unexpected surprises, it still deserves five stars, showing diligent and responsible service. Currently, if someone asks me to recommend the top hotel in Shenzhen, I would choose Andaz.

I really want to give The St. Regis Shenzhen Qianhai a super five-star rating after this stay. Firstly, I must particularly commend the reception team at the front desk. It's very rare to see this: all front desk staff are seated while assisting guests. This might seem like a small detail, but I find it to be a very sophisticated and incredibly human-centered approach to corporate management – staff are relaxed, professional, and the entire communication process is gentle and patient, without any 'assembly line' superficiality. It's clear the hotel genuinely respects its employees, and in turn, the employees naturally extend this respect to the guests. Secondly, the overall ambiance of the hotel is both luxurious and comfortable. From the moment you step in, you can feel the consistent gravitas, elegance, and order that St. Regis is known for. The service process is professional yet not rigid, making you feel very much at ease. Especially worth mentioning – the hotel's signature scent is absolutely divine! It's not a harsh commercial fragrance, but a very refined, warm, and memorable aroma that instantly makes you relax upon entering the hotel. You even find yourself wanting to ask, 'What brand is this fragrance?' Thirdly, and what truly moved me: the incredibly humane handling of situations. Due to our own circumstances, we weren't able to check out on time, and I was mentally prepared for the standard procedure. However, the hotel didn't mechanically enforce the rules; instead, they were incredibly friendly and considerate, extending our check-out time based on the guests' actual situation. There was no difficulty in the entire communication process; they completely thought from the guest's perspective. This feeling of being understood and respected really adds value. To sum it up: This is not just a hotel that relies on its hardware; it's a hotel that has achieved top-tier standards in its management philosophy, employee well-being, service warmth, and detailed guest experience. If you're looking for a hotel in Shenzhen that offers international standards and genuinely makes you feel 'well-treated,' this place is definitely worth revisiting. The room was incredibly spacious. The hotel even surprised me with a cake for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The yellow bathrobe was exceptionally comfortable. I loved it so much that I immediately bought a new one from the butler after checking out! I was initially told there would be a charge for extra beds, and I requested two. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel waived the extra bed fees when I checked out. It was a wonderful and unexpected gesture. Big thanks to the butler team — Kathryn, Maddy, Qian, and Echo — as well as the duty manager, Singer, for their excellent service. The only minor disappointment was that some of the Panorama Suite layouts differed slightly from the pictures on Trip.com, and the specific room type I wanted was fully booked. However, this didn't dampen my overall positive impression of the hotel. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose Raffles again. I hope to get my preferred Panorama Suite layout next time. (The evening buffet at the Starlight restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the all-you-can-eat oysters – six different kinds! So delightful.)

Staying at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our butler, Zero. He contacted us a day in advance and paid attention to every detail, making us feel truly valued. His professionalism and warmth made for an excellent stay! There was a minor hiccup with the A/C not heating properly, but it was resolved quickly. He even brought us red bean soup in the evening (next time, I'd suggest including an extra bowl!).

Everything was great except for the restaurant service. The breakfast was really bad, didn't taste good at all. Our room rate included breakfast for two, and since we had to catch an early train, our 4-year-old was still asleep. We asked them to pack three pieces of bread, one egg, and two cups of watermelon juice to go. When the adults went to eat in the restaurant, the waiter asked, ”Didn't you already get your takeaway breakfast?” It felt like they were trying to charge us extra for a few pieces of bread even though we had two breakfasts included. I'd stay at this hotel again, but definitely without breakfast.
