The hotel offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and a late-night snack. Breakfast is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, afternoon tea from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and the late-night snack from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. I found the hotel very convenient; it's close to the Tianhe business district. The room even had a mini-fridge that was well-stocked and good to eat from. The facilities are quite comprehensive, and there's a XiaoDu smart speaker in the room. It's very convenient to get to places like Zhujiang New Town and Canton Tower, just a street away with lots of food options. There's also an Oriental Plaza shopping mall nearby, which is very convenient for browsing. The staff even gave me some fighting stickers and a fridge magnet, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hygiene was excellent, and the room attendants always had a smile on their faces – truly wonderful. The room had a complete set of bedding. Parking is very convenient, available on -1 or -2 floors. The hotel also has a laundry room on the fourth floor, which is quite handy, and a gym on the same floor, which is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time. What a delightful trip to Guangzhou!

The facilities and amenities are comprehensive, and the smart voice control in the room is excellent. The decor is stylish and simple. The service is attentive and personalized, and the management is thoughtful and meticulous. The environment is great, and getting a taxi is very convenient. The room is spacious, and it's close to popular attractions like Beijing Road and Canton Tower, making it easy to get around. There's also parking available. This will be my top choice next time I visit Guangzhou.

Was disappointed when I called for the airport pick up as the lady said No English! How am I supposed to book if you don't speak English? This was the 1st hurdle. 2nd hurdle was room TV wasn't working and how would I called for help if they don't speak English right? 3rd hurdle was breakfast from 7-9am. My flight was 8.30am They arranged for my transfer at 5am. So, do I get to pack my brekkie? Lady said NO So, I argued and then she showed me a papervag of juice and buns. This hotel is outdated from the outlook and was originally called Super 8 hotel Bedroom slippers was not new but rather recycled plastic slippers. Looks so unhygienic to use . Booked this place due to their airport pick up/drop off that's all. I'd rather book another hotel if you asked me.

Excellent stay – very pet-friendly and convenient! The front desk service was excellent – the staff were very accommodating and genuinely pet-friendly. We are extremely grateful for their supper late checkout ! Breakfast offered a good selection of Western pastries options to choose from. The swimming pool was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. Requests were handled promptly and efficiently. There are also plenty of self-service washing machines and dryers with large capacities – you can wash and dry a lot of clothes at once, and the dryers work very efficiently. The hotel layout is incredibly convenient. The car park, rooms, and laundry area are all on the same level, so you can get everything done without changing floors. The location is great too – about a 10-minute walk to a small pet-friendly beach where you can generally swim with your pets during the day. We'll definitely be back!

Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

So comfortable! The room felt a bit bigger than typical family rooms, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were lovely. Especially at night, it was so cozy. The front desk lady was very gentle too. Staying near the South Station with a shuttle service was super convenient. The treadmill in the gym was pretty good as well. I slept soundly for two nights. The bamboo in the bathroom was a nice design touch. It almost felt like bamboo was growing on my head while I was on the toilet!

I stayed here for a business trip, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and airy, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering an expansive view. The facilities were well-maintained. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were excellent. The service was prompt, and the location was convenient for getting around. It's highly recommended for business travelers.

I came to Guangzhou for a trip and saw that this hotel had pretty high ratings, and I was also drawn to its location. First, the location is excellent; it's near Tianhuan and Zhengjia, right next to the subway station – you exit the subway and there's the hotel. The hygiene was also quite good, the soundproofing was decent, and the shower had strong water pressure. The front desk gave me two room cards during check-in, one of which could be used as an electricity card, which was a nice touch. Downsides: Most of the drawbacks are related to the facilities, which I'd consider 'major flaws.' First, the elevators. The building is 30 stories high (shared by two hotels), and I'd estimate there are about 20 rooms per floor, but there are only three elevators: one for all floors, and one for odd floors and one for even floors respectively. Waiting times for the elevators are very long, and the elevator linkage isn't well-done. Pressing the down button on one elevator doesn't link to the others, so almost everyone ends up pressing both the all-floor elevator and the odd/even floor elevator buttons, which wastes elevator resources. Second, in the Deluxe King Room, there were no power outlets on the side of the bed next to the window, which is very impractical. Looking at the decor, it seems like it was renovated in recent years, so this lack of basic infrastructure makes for a poor experience. Third, during my stay in room 1210, the cover of the filter self-rescue respirator by the bed was open. I checked it, and fortunately, the vacuum seal inside was intact; otherwise, I would have definitely asked housekeeping to replace it. This really needs to be checked more carefully, as it's a life-saving device. Fourth, if you're driving to the hotel, you'd better be an excellent driver. The underground parking spot is first not easy to find, and then the garage itself is quite narrow, making it very difficult to park large, long vehicles. Fifth, very little breakfast was prepared. For popular items like steamed dumplings and char siu bao, I went at around 9 am, and the kitchen said they were out. It felt like they just didn't want to steam another batch, even though there were still many people in the restaurant at that time. Sixth, the hairdryer in the room had very weak airflow. It takes a long time to dry long hair, and the hotel didn't provide any alternatives. The airflow is genuinely too weak.

It’s a great hotel in in a very good location hotel lobby and facilities were great, including free laundry service on the second floor rooms itself was fine however, I did notice that the walls were not clean and had gray and dark patches throughout the room. But overall, I would still look again service was great and front desk was friendly

The soundproofing was excellent, and the hotel's proximity to the metro made commuting very convenient; you could step right out and explore the ancient city. The front desk staff were professional and efficient. Afternoon tea was a great way to recharge, and if you came back late after a meeting, you could pick up a heartwarming late-night snack. The smart facilities were top-notch, with Xiao Du (AI assistant) controlling the entire room by voice, and a robot delivering meals. Self-service laundry and drying, a gym, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options were all available for use.
