Perfect hotel for a few nights with a quick walk to the center of town. There is a small bar with outdoor seating that's perfect for a quick drink at the end of the night. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back when we return to Corfu

Beautiful hotel and very nice service but for the price you expect a bit of luxury experience. They push a bit to buy spa package or day trip package, I feel it’s not very elegant.. but overall it’s a nice place.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay is Junior suite room located on 3rd floor. The room enjoys great views of port, sea and square from a very large double balcony. Spacious and comfortable room with separate bedroom and lounge area. The suite has 2 air conditioning units, separate bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast was good and large choice offered. You can enjoy breakfast in their clique Central Cafe bar. Quick and efficient check-in/out. Friendly and welcoming staff. This is a return visit too.

What a lovely week we all had, Firstly the food was lovely although not that much choice of main dishes, salad was great. Fabulous breakfast choice and all the food was of a good quality and all served hot. Onto the pool area which was very clean, But pool needs a handrail on the steps going in and out of pool, many times we sat nearby and people struggled to get out Including us, as the steps are difficult with the water without a handrail. The Hotel was immaculately clean in all public areas as were the rooms, the downside for me was the pillows which were so heavy and rock hard, I did ask if there were any softer ones but we just got another 2 the same, I have a bad neck so it was a very painful week. The previous reviews had mentioned the airport being so close, it certainly was and the planes were right outside our bedroom but after the first night it didn't have any impact on our stay. The beach was dusty and not very clean so not attractive although the beach bar was very good. The staff were always so helpful, friendly and smiley. The local bus and sightseeing bus stopping at the front of the hotel was a massive bonus and easy to use.

Not really sure where I should start with this review in all honesty. Before anything else, I want to state that the staff who work there are great. Truly lovely people who will do everything they can to help you. I have coeliac disease, and the chef (Nicc - unsure of his name) was a star and really helped me out by preparing meals separately for me. Also, the barman (Dimitrii - again unsure) was a true gent and a shoulder to cry on at times! There were a number of issues, sadly the food selection on offer for guests was essentially the same every day. Same breakfast, same evening meals - the variation was minimal. The soft drinks were poor, the juices were not of the standard you would expect in a 4-star hotel. The rooms were very basic, clean but nothing special. There was a kettle in the room but no tea bags or coffee sachets. Another big issue for me were the fact that our double bed was in fact two single beds pushed together and not even a double duvet or sheet! We effectively slept in separate beds next to each other - not exactly intimate. Even the bath did not have a plug! I assumed this was an error, when I queried it I was told this was for economic reasons, so anyone staying here better like having a shower! Entertainment was non-existent. Beyond a few pool tables and to sit around and listen to the background music at the bar, there was nothing. The pool was out of service, the gym and spa you read about on their website was nowhere to be seen. And let's get to the real issue I had with our stay. To quote the Artiti Grand Hotel's own website ”Providing an intimate, relaxing and enjoyable vacation experience with highlights its rich heritage, an enviable location and personalized services”. Their idea of intimate and relaxing time was to ram every last room with teenagers (12-17) from schools across Greece. We did not get a single night of adequate sleep, the room adjacent to ours was blaring music until the small hours, shouting, banging doors, just the absolute opposite of having a relaxing time. We even moved rooms and it made very little difference. When we sat with the hotel manager to air our complaints, he essentially told us we came at the wrong time of the year. That was it. Perhaps he should include a footnote that his hotel is packed to the brim with screaming teens, smoking and drinking during the spring months. Absolutely pathetic, he offered no immediate apology either. As people who work hard and paid for a relaxing time, I honestly feel robbed by the Ariti Grand. Anyone who's managed to read this far and still thinks that the Artiti Grand is worth a look at, I say keep looking. Nothing about my stay would make me want to return.

This is a wonderful hotel. It has the best location in zakynthos town. I received a room with a balcony overlooking the port, and it was amazing! The staff is also incredible—thank you Natasha for your wonderful concierge service! The breakfast is beyond delicious, and the rooftop bar has unforgettable views of the town. I have seen some reviews mentioning the rooms needing renovation; I felt very comfortable and please keep in mind this is an island in greece, not Manhattan. It’s a top pick for Zante town.

This was my first time visiting Greece and I had a fantastic first experience at Grecotel Eva Palace. I'll start my review with the positives and then include points that are important for those travelling to the hotel and areas where I feel there could be some improvement. Firstly, I really enjoyed the breakfast. I felt there was a good variety and I always enjoy a hotel breakfast where you can get fresh eggs/pancakes and this was something we had. I didn't book all inclusive/half board and had I stayed longer than 3 nights it would be something I would have regretted (more on this later). The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable (pillows could be a little firmer). The hotel was fairly busy when we booked but every time I went to the pool there were loungers available for us (however people do tend to reserve theirs with a towel). I liked the beach tote and beach towels in the room. There was complimentary sparkling wine (I don't drink so I can't say if this was good) and baklava in the room on check in. The pool was large and I really liked the private beach area also. As a general rule the hotel was very beautiful and clean. There is also the added positive of a complimentary shuttle into corfu town (requires booking in advance - taxi's are quite expensive) If you plan on staying here this hotel is fairly remote so dinner options in the area is limited so I would recommend half board/all inclusive. The roads aren't the safest and I did walk to a nearby hotel on the first night and chose to eat at the sister restaurant on the 2nd night. I did feel that I didn't want to explore the area due to how steep and narrow the roads are and how it isn't pedestrianised in the area. The hotel isn't suitable for people with mobility issues/poor mobility as you have to go down some fairly steep steps to reach the pool and a steep road to the private beach (even though it is close). Areas to improve: We arrived an hour before check in and was told our room wasn't available for early check-in but they would try to get us in the room as early as they could. Whilst waiting we were offered some complimentary lemonade and some water. We ended up getting the room 45 minutes after check-in and there was no communication regarding the delay. We would have been more than happy if we had been offered somewhere to change after the flight so we could use the pool whilst waiting for our room. Whilst breakfast was enjoyable some of the ”hot” food in the buffet was actually cold. Lastly, the pool was very cold so to some this can be refreshing but to others you wouldn't really want to use the pool as you couldn't stay in there for long. Alongside the shuttle there is also a water taxi but the timing for this is very limited - can only leave at 9:30 am and return at 2:30am.

We stayed here for a long weekend in June 2023. We had a beachfront room, very spacious with a sliding door separating the main living area from a twin bedded area, ideal for a family. The room was very well appointed and spacious and clean. The restaurants were all very good, quality of food and choice of wine impressive. The breakfast in particular was very good, it was fairly busy when we went but we never had to wait for a table and the breakfast team were super helpful , friendly and efficient in finding us a table. The breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had, a huge array of hot and cold food, I couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t available. The staff throughout the resort were courteous, friendly and helpful. There are sun beds and parasols on the sandy beach which was clean and tidy. The bar area was also welcoming and well appointed. The hotel is a 10-15 walk from a marina that had a few bars and restaurants and about 10-15 in a taxi into Corfu town which has huge array of eateries, shops, bars etc. There is a water taxi at the jetty on the beach that can take you to a number of restaurants, all of which were wonderful. The only minor criticism I would have is that the concierge team seemed a little clueless, not having any restaurant recommendations or even knowledge of the water taxi service which we found a little odd. George on the front desk came to the rescue with information and help. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for couples, friends or family and will definitely return.

The word to sum up this lovely hotel with it's wonderful staff is.. Fantastic!! The hotel itself is dated, yes, however it has a kind of old world charm about it. Our impression from arriving to leaving was that we were stepping back in time to the 40s and 50s. Physically the building has echoes of a charming cruise liner, it is also perfectly positioned for everything the town and island has to offer. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and super attentive. The food was totally delicious and its presentation of a ”Masterchef” standard. Thankyou again to everyone at Corfu Palace for making our holiday so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future!

My stay for a three day-weekend in May was off to a bad start even before I arrived at the hotel. A somewhat heated email exchange with the reservation team threatening to cancel the reservation if I did not pay immediately, according to the tariff conditions, meant that I had to contact the Guest Relations Manager (Mrs Ageliki KOULOURI) to clarify the situation. It is therefore through this first exchange with her that I can say today that this manager is one of the main assets of this hotel. Not only does she do her job, but she also puts in a dose of tact, delicacy and efficiency. I owe the success of my stay to her. The hotel is very well located, beautifully decorated and the rooms are beautiful. I personally was upgraded to a suite with a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. The hotel, which opened fairly recently, still has a few glitches that one is less inclined to forgive once the break-in period is over, especially for a hotel of this category. This year, the restaurant offer has been reduced by the presence of Michelin-starred chef Botrini, who has ”ceased his collaboration” with the hotel. I tested the two restaurants Sofrito (Greek and Mediterranean cuisine) and Oribu (North Asian cuisine). The staff in the dining areas are numerous, attentive and eager to help. I found that both the food and wine lists lacked coherence, and sometimes even of the desired wine :). This didn't bother me that much, but I did think that a hotel in this category should do a better job! As for the breakfast buffet (there are several), I found it perfect: a wide selection of dishes, from savory to sweet. The only downside is the lack of teas, at least for tea lovers. The swimming pool, probably one of the most beautiful on the island, is infinity and offers a spectacular view of the sea and the mainland in the distance. Sports enthusiasts will not be outdone by the state-of-the-art gym and equipment. And what can I say about the Spa? Well, it's certainly one of the best treatments I've ever received, and all in a finely decorated, relaxing setting. A big plus and a big thank you to the team. I'll conclude by saying that I hope to return to this resort and that the service will live up to the high standards expected of a 5-star hotel.

I'm just home from this lovely hotel and can honestly say it is one of the best holidays I have had. I cannot fault a thing about it. From the minute we arrived at the hotel the staff were just amazing. The reception staff are so efficient and welcoming. Check in was seamless. We were late arriving at the hotel at about 10pm and the restaurant was kept open so that we could enjoy a hot meal. A welcome drink was also provided. The room we had was spacious with a balcony. It had a shower and bath and very comfortable beds with lovely crisp fresh white sheets. The entire hotel is so clean. Every area we saw was pristine. Our rooms were cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels in the evening if required. A huge shout out and thank you to the housekeeping team. They do an amazing job and were always so friendly and helpful. If you needed anything they were always happy to help. The food is buffet style. We were half board. At breakfast there was a large selection of food items to choose from and I noticed they also catered for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. We enjoyed having our breakfast each day in the covered outside area of the restaurant which overlooks the swimming pools and gardens. The staff in the restaurant were also so welcoming and friendly from the Management to the chefs, waitresses and waiters. They work hard and again are always happy to help. 5 stars from me for Service. We also enjoyed the Evenings meals and again a good selection was on offer. The pool bar staff were excellent too. They were very attentive and always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble. They were great at making pina coladas too which were a daily treat and made to perfection! Thank you to all of them. The grounds and pool areas are immaculate and very well maintained. I think they have the cleanest swimming pools I've seen in a long time. The water was cold when you first went in for a swim but after a few minutes swimming it was lovely and fresh and good to cool down in as the temperature rose. They have a family pool and an adults only pool which was a great idea. The pool bar and seating are us in the middle. Thank you to the really friendly gardeners too for doing a great job. The grounds have lots of lovely flowers and trees which are well cared for. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the start of the town area where there is a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops. It still retains the Greek village feel about it which is lovely. The Greek people were so friendly and welcoming everywhere we went. Checkout was also seamless. Again we had a late flight home and the hotel were able to accommodate us by allowing us to keep our room until 5:30pm . We were very grateful for this as it was heavy rain on our last day. I don’t know where to even start but from the moment we step out of our transfer taxi to the moment we step back in to the transfer taxi it was A CLASS service. The staff at this hotel are so friendly kind and thoughtful. Nothing was too much of an ask. We had come to zante for my birthday and the ladies on front desk/bar/restaurant had sang to me a breakfast with a cake and also ensure a complimentary bottle of sparking wine and another cake was delivered to my room. This adult-only hotel is in a tranquil part of the island. You can reach the city center in about 15 minutes by car. You can easily rent a vehicle, there are different agencies even near the hotel. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was flawless, there was no waiting time and the vehicle (range rover) was in good condition. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were greeted very well. Fresh towels, water and a refreshing ice cream accompanied us during check-in. The room was not ready yet, but we arrived 3 hours before the official check-in time, anyway they made available to us the changing rooms of the gym, so we had the opportunity to wait in the pool. The room is exactly as described on the website. Sure it is bright and clean, but it is not in perfect condition. Some lights on the ceiling do not work, the whirlpool maintenance door is not attached to the tub and tends to open, some buttons on the TV remote do not work. The Wi-Fi had two problems, on the terrace, there was almost no coverage, and in the room, it was very slow. Even e simple wi-fi call with no video was almost impossible to accomplish. The hotel has a private beach with beds and umbrellas. It's easy to find free places, especially in the morning. The beach itself is not very large but during our stay, it was never overcrowded. The sunbeds were pretty comfortable, but your relax might be ruined by jet ski driving in front of the beach at high speed. They were very noisy, the water sport rental service just next to the hotel doesn’t help in this sense. Also, bear in mind that smoking is permitted, so if you, like us, don’t appreciate the smell of the smoke, you should take this into consideration as well. The hotel has a very nice restaurant overlooking the beach and sea. It’s called Gaia. They essentially have a “à la Carte” menu, but the idea is that you get the tasting menu. As we mentioned before, the location is very nice, unfortunately the service is not top notch. At the beginning, they seemed to be a bit confused about who was in charge for what. They asked us three times which kind of water we would like to drink and the first waiter, who said he was our waiter for that evening, never showed up again during the entire dinner. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a beautiful view of the sea and swimming pool, considering the class of the hotel, we were very surprised about the lack of fish in the buffet. Overall, the quality was acceptable, well presented but with some mishaps. During our stay, the breakfast was almost always the same, we can’t say the same thing about the service. Visited Zakynthos the first time during May 2022. Picked specially an adult-only-hotel and this one is serving it perfectly. A littlebit hidden from the mainroad with a nice view on the sea. Awesome atmosphere, fresh, rich and homemade buffet in the morning, very talented cook serving a 5 round dinner every evening. Everything made on a daily basis with herbs from local garden behind the hotel. Delicous red and white wines. Staff is very charming and helpful concerning local tips as well all of them speaking fluently English specially Stamatis has to be named as the good soul of the hotel☺️

Ottima esperienza presso il Meandros, al nostro arrivo ci hanno offerto un drink di benvenuto molto gradito. La posizione è buona vicinissimo alla spiaggia di Kalamaki molto bella e pulita e vicina al centro di Kalamaki che purtroppo la sera non è animato per cui ci siamo dovuti spostare sempre altrove. La pulizia della stanza buona ma non eccellente, va segnalato che nel bagno della stanza c'era un odore poco gradevole persistente. Il cibo molto buono e variegato sia a colazione sia a cena. Valore aggiunto dell'hotel è il personale, davvero competente, professionale, gentile e cordiale (vorremmo ringraziare in particolare Sofia).

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. It’s like a little oasis! Our (very spacious) room was tucked away above the spa, where it was very quiet. They kindly gave us a free room upgrade, so we had a huge in-room hot tub which was a nice surprise! And the balcony was the perfect spot for watching the sunset. The pool area was lovely, with comfy loungers/beanbags and lots of greenery. And the QR codes make it easy to order drinks or snacks straight to your sun lounger. The spa was also great, and you can book the pool/sauna for just the two of you, which is a nice touch. We booked half-board and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, and you can also order a dish from the menu at no extra cost. I was very impressed by the evening buffet. I find that buffet dinners can be hit-and-miss, but everything was delicious, especially the Greek dishes. There was also live music by the bar on a couple of nights, which added a really nice atmosphere. Special shout-out to the evening bartender who made the most fantastic cocktails! We also ate at the Nobile rooftop restaurant one evening. We had the seven-course tasting menu which was very nice, but there was quite a lengthy gap between the courses. We were there over three hours – had we known it would be that long, I think we probably would have booked an earlier table. But it was a great experience nonetheless, and the food was wonderful. The final word goes to go to the staff, who were amazing. The reception team, the porter, the waiting staff, the spa team – everyone was so friendly, smiley, and couldn’t do enough for you. I’d definitely recommend Contessina Suites for a chilled-out break; we had the best time.

The hotel is right on the sandy beach with pool, bar and restaurant overlooking the sea. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food varied and delicious. The hotel was clean and well looked after and our room had a small side sea view balcony. The pool was not large but always kept clean and there were leisure facilities available as well as unpowered water sport kit (paddle boards, windsurf boards etc.) I would class it as a 'boutique hotel' as it is small and customer service orientated and was as good as the pictures shown and worthy of its star rating.
