Nicht unser erster und wird auch nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt im Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol sein, jedoch sind wir ein anderes Service gewohnt. Diesmal war das Zimmer nicht so sauber, wie man es vom Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol gewohnt ist. Am Boden lag Schmutz und Haare. Das Zimmer war veraltet.

l'ambiente pulito e giovane, molto caldo , con un bagno molto spazioso. per la colazione si usufruisce di un locale al piano terra molto bello e fornito, con annessa cucina dove ti preparano le uova a richiesta o altro. unica cosa stonata il bagno in camera con la parete in vetro, che limita un po' la privacy se non si è una coppia affiatata. comunque in questa struttura ci ritornerei molto volentieri, consigliata

The hotel is in a great location with easy parking and a bus stop in the back.The service in the lobby is very good and you can get detailed tour guides.And most importantly!The view outside the window is pleasant.

Comfortable rooms, great service and good facilities. The bar, pool area and reception all are lovely. Just round the corner to the old town and shopping, restaurants very close by. If you are looking for a great hotel offering excellent value for money right in the heart of Innsbruck look no further. The location is perfect with the hotel being right on the main square of the town and all major sites no more than a 15 minute leisurely walk away. It is a new hotel and the decor and furnishings are of high quality. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and speak a wide variety of languages. They will go out of their way to assist with any requests. The breakfast is fantastic, particularly with wide variety of fresh fruits and yoghurts. It is great value for money.

Probably my 10th stay at this hotel. It’s been rather rustic and run by the same family for ages. However the pandemic has changed things - some for the better some for the worse Better - easier passage from main entrance to rooms in the east wing and spa - well functioning free parking Worse - all staff seem new and not very well trained - on check out the bill included my already prepaid room and the lady did not, at first, understand that this was wrong - renovated room. Nowhere to place clothes etc. No shelves- no cupboards. Glass “door” to bathroom with 30 cm open space at top and bottom. Weird, even when traveling w spouse. Very cold, icy electrical light in room. You hear other rooms very well. We twice woke up 5 45 from an alarm clock somewhere else. Never happened in any hotel room before.

I can’t praise these apartments enough. If you are looking for something between a hotel with facilities that you pay for but never use and fully self catering, then this is an ideal option. We were sent an email with clear and detailed information a few days before arriving. Our apartment was clean, compact and offered everything we needed. There was a jug of water in the room that we could top up and keep cool in the fridge. Our room was cleaned daily and coffee cups for the machine and milk cups were replenished daily. Even though we didn’t put our towels on the floor indicating that we wanted them changed, we found clean towels in the bathroom every day. This could have been due to the very high temperatures the first few days we were there. The room remained warm once the outside temperature had dropped and we returned that evening to find a humidifier in the apartment. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! We had even to the Innsbruck hotel 3 years ago when major works were being carried out at the hotel .After recently going back to the hotel I have found it has become better .Our room was perfect breakfast was perfect and the staff very helpful nothing was to much for them .The bar teams were very good and would always serve bar snacks.The reception team were brilliant.They gave us advice ro the places we might like to visit.I will be recommending to all my friends and family .Summery. Very high quality at an affordable price

The hotel is on a hill on the other side of the Inn, in an alternative quarter of Innsbruck - a pleasant surprise. Trendy bars & curious workshops/ craft shops are all nearby. Our room was warm - almost overheated, and apart from the fan which rumbled once you switched the bathoom light on, and the dearth of sockets to charge a phone, everything was decent, including breakfast. If you request ”mountain view” as we did - we found you need to twist your neck to see beyond the house opposite, but it's there. However I'd like to warn potential guests that the hotel doesn't necessarily reply to emails, or pick up the mobile phones on their website. It made us worried, as our plane had been diverted, and it was getting late. As I made the reservation months earlier, I tried to check someone would still be there late evening. I couldn't get through. On arrival, there was noone at the reception, and once the receptionist arrived, he chided my husband for using the bell provided. We were told that our email wasn't received, no explanation was given re mobile calls. The landline may work - I am not sure. Also, it is worth knowing that the hotel entrance is on a sloped side street. We were lucky that there was no ice on the day we had to wheel our cases to the nearest bus stop higher up the hill.
