Stayed here for one night in August 2023 Pros: 1) Location is good. The place is quite close to the beach. 2) The front desk staff speak excellent English 3) The WIFI is free and the speed and connectivity are good. 4) The room and bathrooms were very clean 5) There is a mall with several good restaurants within walking distance 6) The place is quite at night and sleep quality was good. 7) Air condition was available 8) The room had a balcony. 9) Front desk is staffed 24 hours 10) The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. 11) There is parking available. 12) The tariff was reasonable. Cons: 1) The famous Patras Steps are 15 min walk away. Not really close. The museum is even further away.

The hotel was right across from the marina so in a great location to walk to most of the sites around town. There's several good restaurants close by. The hotel common area was very nice, the staff was wonderful. The pool was very welcome on a couple hot afternoons we were there. There's a rooftop bar for hanging out for drinks at night, not open until the evening though. The hotel restaurant did a nice job with lunches, the buffet breakfast was just OK for me. The rooms were a bit quirky, they were clean but functionality wasn't great. Limited places to hang anything wet, trash can almost impossible to use gracefully, tissue were about the same roughness as our paper towels, shower head a total disaster (made it work but a very poor design), plug for bathroom outside the bathroom which is inconvenient (but I think a Greek code).

We stayed at Kronio Hotel during our visit to Olympia. The location is perfect, just a ten-minute walk to the museum and to the archeological site. We came during low season, so there were not many guests. The place is a little older, but good enough. The owner was very kind when he showed us to our room. He prepared a very nice breakfast for us in the morning. We enjoyed out stay and the kind hospitality extended by our host.

My review is based on the alleged 4* of the hotel. In my very personal opinion: Positives :-) _The hotel location with the view of the sea, the bridge of Rio-Antirio and the spectacular sunset · The staff at the dining room. Although they seemed disorganised and most of them untrained, they were really kind and helpful. Separate reference should be made to the lady in the reception as she was a gem. Professional, kind, resourceful, always with a smile. The playground for little children is new and in great condition. Negatives :-( *Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel * Definitely in need of radical renovations. * Not clean, certainly not to a 4 star hotel standards. The glass doors in the room were not cleaned, the mirror in the bathroom too and when the staff came to fix the extra bed and had to move the other beds we saw that the floor (plastic carpet) hasn’t been swept thoroughly most probably in years. The curtains in the dining room were also dirty. * The pool bar and surrounding area is a mess. The furniture are so used up that their colour has been altered completely. You can see garbage and debris at the corners of the hotel. The lawn is in a really bad condition. * The pool is cleaned daily but it's only open between 11:00-19:00. I am guessing this is the lifeguard's working hours.... While we were there, one of the lifeguards was never near the pool but in the pool bar browsing through their phone and nobody seemed to care. * The quality of the food is average, at best. A lot of low quality staff like jams, cakes etc *The corridors in the room floors need immediate paint refresher.

Sosta di una notte dopo aver visitato il sito archeologico di Olimpia, hotel molto vintage, a gestione famigliare, il proprietario, che parlava bene anche l'italiano, è una persona molto gentile e disponibile, che ama il suo lavoro e la sua casa! La stanza era al primo piano, non c'è ascensore ma è stato così gentile da portarmi su e giù la valigia! Camera comoda, abbastanza spaziosa così come il bagno, senza finestra ma con ventola funzionante. Un bel balcone con tavolino e sedie. L'unico neo è che affacciava sulla strada di passaggio quindi molto rumorosa a qualsiasi ora. Tv, aria condizionata e frigo. Comodo parcheggio di fronte all'hotel. Colazione super con uova sode, pane, marmellata, miele, briosce e torta, jogurt greco e una buonissima spremuta d'arancia preparata al momento. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. L'hotel si trova a una trentina di chilometri dal porto di Killini da dove abbiamo preso il traghetto il mattino dopo.

The staff of this hotel is super service-minded. I had to change my dates last minute, and even though my rate was non-refundable, Mrs Athina very kindly moved my reservation to another date. I give my strongest recommendation to The Bold Type Hotel.

Ευγενέστατο προσωπικό όλες τους πολύ καλές και γλυκές !!! Ωραίο δωμάτιο με ωραίο design !! και στο κέντρο της πόλης Ζεστό και καθαρό δωμάτιο με ωραίο άνετο στρώμα !! Και η κυρία υπάλληλος καθαρισμού πολύ ευγενική και ρωτούσε αν χρειαζόμαστε κάτι και ερχόταν αμέσως !!! μακάρι να είχε πρωινό αλλά φτιάχνουν πολύ ωραίο καφέ και στο φέρνουν και στο δωμάτιο !! Καταπληκτικό γενικά μπράβο σας ήσασταν φοβερές κορίτσια και πάντα με χαμόγελο και εξυπηρέτηση τέλεια !!! Καλλιοπη 107 β

This new boutique hotel in the center of Patras is a gem. It's a total, inside and out, rehab of an old government building with a gleaming result. The fresh look of the hotel is accented by elegant white marble in the common areas and other pleasant painting schemes in the private accommodations. Most floors have only 3 rooms. Two rooms face the front on the busy Aghiou Andreou Street, and one, the junior suite, is facing back with good, though partial, waterfront and sea views. Still, worth the extra money booking these suites. The front double rooms have unobstructed eastern views of the city and the beautiful mountain rising beyond. Both the front and the back accommodations, and I tried both in 2 separate stays, are very spacious and all have very usable balconies with chairs and tables, good to enjoy the morning coffee or night drink. Inside, all rooms have a contemporary look with all the amenities an international or Greek traveler expects these days. All high quality. The a/c is whisper quiet, the WiFi fast, and everything else up to date. The baths are also spacious, modern and have fancy plumbing. I did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast. The ladies in the front desk and the other people that run the place are all very professional, pleasant, and eager to help. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I had a perfect stay at My Way for Apokries (Mardi Gras)! The hotel is a perfect spot and very walkable to the main parts of the city. It is close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away that you can sleep at night without all the party outside. Its location has a gorgeous view of the sea while enjoying morning breakfast on the rooftop! The parking lot next door is CLUTH! We left the car and didn’t have to worry about it until we left. Rooms are very spacious and the staff is helpful and kind! We definitely will be back and fully plan on staying again!

The hotel is bright and airy and the rooms are comfortable, spacious with a really nice bathroom. This, however, is not what merits special attention We booked the Filoxenia for three nights for our visit to Kalavryta. However, it proved to be an eventful stay in more ways than one. On our first evening there, we visited the Holocaust Memorial and at some point, I received a bite on my leg. On the afternoon on the second day, I started to feel unwell. At first, I believed it might be Covid but it was not. I ended up in the local hospital with a bacterial infection on my leg and had to have intravenous antibiotics. During this time, the hotel and the staff were magnificent. They kept the room open for my wife and looked after her. They made up breakfasts for me in the hospital. They even sent me boxes of cakes and biscuits. I cannot praise them highly enough. To be taken ill in a foreign country is a daunting prospect but to have that level of service was so heartening. They even volunteered to come to the hospital and translate for us So, if you are looking to stay in Kalavryta, this hotel offers everything you want and more. We will never forget the kindness and service we received ❤️

We spent one night at the Amalia having missed our cruise ship at Rome and needed to pick it up at Olympia. We arrived from Athens at 6am having travelled all night from London. Needless to say, we were exhausted. Although check in isn’t until 3pm, the hotel were so kind, arranging for fresh coffee and orange juice and managing to get us into our room at 9am. Our room was a family room with a double and a proper single bed. It was large and spotless. Although the rooms are fairly basic and a bit tired they are clean and have everything you need including slippers, robes, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was large with good water power. We had some time to sit by the pool in the afternoon which was very pleasant and not crowded. Some pool service is available from the lobby bar - frappes recommended! What I liked most about this hotel was the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. Special thanks to Vassilis at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay.

Arrived at midnight after a long drive from Delphi. The owner came out to greet us and help with our luggage, he told us that he would be available for anything we needed until 3am, wonderful to know! The room / suite was the entire top floor of the hotel. The owner told us that he had to planned for it to be his home and that showed, everything you could need was there. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, there was a sitting area and a small area for cooking (fridge, stove top, plates, cutlery, glasses). The rest of the space was a partially shaded deck with dining table, sun beds and a hammock. The view from the deck over the countryside was beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with many choices - the yogurt and honey and also strawberry jam were so flavorful. Was ideally located for an easy walk to the archeological site. For the accommodation and breakfast provided, this was excellent value. Only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer to enjoy the space on the top floor and would absolutely go back if retuning to Olympia.
