Hotel Dengan Breakfast di Ma`an, Jordan

The hotel is quite close to the ancient city of Petra. Breakfast is also ok. The hotel has a buffet in the evening. 10 yuan (local money) is equivalent to RMB 100. Generally speaking, it is more convenient to live here in the ancient city of Petra. I asked the hotel to help me arrange a car to the hotel in the center of Amman. 650 yuan. 250 kilometers. My stay in Marriot Petra is beyond my expectations. The location is great, you could see nice views of Petra from the swimming pool in the hotel. Plus the hotel is super quiet and peaceful ❤️ The staff are super kind, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed , the assistant manager in the front office , he is a very kind and friendly person, delivering a great service and kind attitude when interacting with the guest . I would like to recommend this hotel for your Petra stay .

Great service, staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful itself, located right next to Petra Museum which is very convenient if you plan to visit The treasury. Buffet dinner is great, we enjoyed our stay.

Good location (nearby visitors center but on the hill, you need clime The service is not very good: It was the first time when I didn't got information at the reception about breakfast time, spa service, swimm pool, etc. The bath -hot spring was semi-fulled afternoon. Great location, right at the entrance of Petra. The hotel feels great after walking out for a day. There are not many people in the hotel, it is quiet, it feels good, and the breakfast is good. The gift bag in the hotel is better than the outside Cheap, the quality is better than the outside, it is worth recommending. In short, this hotel personally thinks that it is the first choice to go to Petra. When people are young, the room has been upgraded and it is good value for money.

It’s new beautiful hotel. Room are so comfortable and nice and clean. Very nice view from the hotel. Staff are friendly It’s around 8-10 mins drive from Petra visiting center. Only good if you drive. Breakfast is good a few selections Restaurant is over priced comparing with 5 stars Movenpick which cost only 20-30% price difference but huge difference quality. The small veggie soup cost 4 JD. Totally over priced. The fish was over grilled. Free shuttle within certain hours. You have to pay after you check out if using the shuttle and leave your luggage Service was dramatically decreased after you check out. Kind of disappointed.

This place is sort of a boutique hotel opened by locals and not one of the big chain hotels and it’s location (point 1) is slightly further away from the city centre and it’s located on the hillside and there is no way you can walk there, you definitely need a car to reach this place from Petra Visitor Center ( hence please take a cab ) but it was fine for us as we drove. The price we paid was somewhat expensive ( due to its peak season) but all the hotels nearby were on the high side. Rooms are exceptionally clean and it even smell of freshly laundered sheets, good ventilation and breakfast was decent. We had dinner here as well 20JOD for the buffet dinner per person and it was great on the weekend nights but on a weekday nights the menu offering is much limited. Staff are generally friendly but I was turn off by a cook named Ala’a who was attending the egg station during breakfast on 29 October - not only was he slow ( compared to the cook of the previous day - leading to long wait at the station despite less than 30 people in the breakfast place), he was also rude to guests who didn’t really speak English and even told them when they didn’t clearly place their orders- I was observing and it was really bad taste as he scowl at them and this is only coming from a cook at the eggs station - you need mind your customer service ettiquete especially to foreign guests who makes up most of your revenue. The least you can do is smile and not make your guests feel like feel bad about their language when they are ordering their eggs.

When checking in, the boss said that the drinks and snacks in the room are free for us, because we are Chinese and he likes Chinese; 3. We went to Petra the next day, the boss asked us, told us that no matter when we wanted to have breakfast, and he would arrange a car to pick us up for free; 4. We told the boss that we wanted to leave at 7 o'clock and asked him to prepare 2 breakfasts to take away. The boss was very punctual and the breakfast was heavy. There were simple hot dogs, canned meat, 5 kinds of fruits and vegetables, water, drinks, yogurt; It is worth stressing that the whole store is very punctual, completely different from our feelings in Egypt and Jordan these days.

The boss is very good, the service is in place, providing guests with various needs. The only downside is that it is a little far from the ancient city. If you want to go to the ancient city, you must have a car.
