The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax.
The food served at the hotel was excellent, with delicious meals that we genuinely enjoyed throughout our stay. Every aspect of the experience reflected the hotelโs commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction.

MMr. PI am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao.
The location is excellentโsituated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Cafรฉ, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargaoโs well-known restaurants, cafรฉs, and tourist attractions.
The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus.
Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals.
One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoyโperfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting.
Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao.

GGuest UserFerra Resort is a great option if you want to stay slightly away from the busy center of General Luna while still being close enough to everything. Itโs about 7 minutes by scooter and located in a nice area near the beach, although I didnโt go into the sea during my stay.
The hut was very spacious and comfortable, with a mosquito net over the bed and pleasant lighting in the bedroom, creating a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was very large, with warm water, good-quality towels, and plenty of space.
The resort features a brand new pool, which was a nice highlight, and pool towels are available. During the visit, a restaurant was still under construction, and the overall experience was slightly impacted by ongoing works and workers extending the property.
The internet connection was good, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Nearby resorts were a bit loud at times, which might have been due to the Christmas period.
The staff were very friendly and attentiveโI was able to ask for free coffee several times without any issues. A nice extra was the private water dispenser in the bathroom, available free of charge.
Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely come again.

The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed โ comfortable beds, fresh linens, a strong Wi-Fi connection, and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and toiletries.
One of the highlights of Amarah Hotel was the ambiance โ modern yet homey, creating a perfect place to relax after a busy day. The restaurant served delicious food, with a good variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Breakfast was especially satisfying, with both local and international options available.
Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated near key spots, making it easy to explore the area. Transportation was accessible, and there were shops and cafes nearby.
Overall, I highly recommend Amarah Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and memorable stay. Iโm looking forward to coming back again!

Location is perfect, very close to Cloud 9 and Jacking horse surf shop (where i took surfing classes). It's not very noisy area, quite secluded from nearby shops and hotels. Which is perfect.
Carlos at the reception was very very helpful and friendly. I took all the recommendations on restaurants, shops, laundry places. You can also rent a bike from the hotel. Besides there is a good community, they organize pizza nights, outings together, which is super fun if u are travelling alone and want to make friends. People that stay in this hostel are mostly Europeans. I did not have issues with sleeping in a room, everyone was respectful and clean.
Bed has a curtain for privacy, light, locker and quite enough space. Showers are clean and i was lucky with hot showers. Overall, very good experience and def would come back again.
