Hotel Dengan Sarapan pagi di Magdalena, Colombia

We initially booked one night after leaving Minca but extended to another night since we were recovering from food poisoning. The hotel's lobby is on the 3rd floor and there was always a security guard on the first floor. There were some jewelry display right by the entrance. No air conditioned upon walking into the first floor. There wasn't a Hilton Honors check-in and there were 2 front desk reps. I stayed in queue for almost 15 minutes which was kinda long. They also didn't offer digital key. However, Ronaldo was friendly and helpful when he assisted us. We received 2 welcome drinks where you can redeem on the roof top bar for juices, beer or house wine. We opted for some mango and guava juices. We were upgraded to the ocean view due to the gold status and also complimentary buffet breakfast. The beach is merely 5 minutes walking distance away. Bed was comfy, wifi and water pressure were both good but the temperature of A/C didn't go below 21'C which was 70'F. There was a mini-fridge and basic TV where you can't stream. Pool on top floor was very small and crowded. However, it was still good to enjoy the sunset. We like the buffet breakfast with lots of fruits, juices and some typical Colombian pastries (deep fried though). They also had an omelet station. The restaurant was quite packed in the morning and service was slow (in taking the plates away). There were no tea bags left and it took more than 10 minutes for the waitstaff to get the tea bags. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Rooms are clan and ok looking. Service is slow. They need to bring up a notch level of hospitality at the hotel. My husband went to grab water from the typical beverage dispensers in lobby ( the ones they always place with lemon or pieces of some other fruit) and they stopped him and told him that was only for arriving guests. Really?? It is water in a very hot place! No changes or substitutions can be made n the menu. Breakfast was included and it was simple but ok and the guys who served during breakfast were very nice. Conclusion: if really cheap book, but knowing its very basic

It was an incredible experience and we enjoyed our time at this hotel, it's location is perfect to take different activities such as going to the aquarium and playa blanca, tayrona park and other places. There is a little options for fun and parties and the nights has not quite fun. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, the elevator looks like old and unsafety but you can used the stairs.

I am not a spanish speaker but use google translate and my broken spanish sentences. The girl didn't speak any English and that's OK but she treated me like I was a foreigner walk in that she wanted nothing to do with. I asked for the menu. She said there wasn't one. She told me thru translate eggs 3 ways that's it. I asked for fruits juice and toast available only because I saw others had this. That night I went to reception to ask if menu they said yes. As I was staying a few days and doing day tours I wanted to enjoy a breakfast before leaving. Next morning with her sour attitude she again approached and spoke in spanish. This time annoyed I said you know I don't speak spanish and I'm not doing this again. A guy Came and told me options change each day. I explained I didn't get the options I saw of others and only got what she offered and the fruit I saw. I ended up with same breakfast. For this reason I cannot recommend this hotel. They need a menu. Then you know what's available. I can read spanish better than I speak. Relying on a sour unfriendly and unhelpful girl is not an option I choose. For this I don't recommend as foreign traveller.

Me and my family were traveling in Santa Marta in December 2022, we were at the Mercure hotel on vacation, it is an excellent hotel, with very comfortable rooms, and with an excellent view of the sea, the hotel is very close to the beach which is private, the hotel is close to the airport and you can enjoy a lot of tranquility, we were able to enjoy different tours, and it is close to the Rodadero, when we wanted not to go out we enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed very delicious meals, and the hotel staff was very kind to us, 24 hours a day there is a taxi service to leave the hotel, we recommend the hotel or we would return

The Hilton Santa Marta was a great experience. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The location is great! It's close to the airport and Zazue Plaza which is full of restaurants and little shops. The rooms were spacious, super clean and luxurious. The beds were very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was wonderful. We loved the breakfast buffet each morning. Room service was also very tasty. The pool on the second floor was the perfect temperature and offered an amazing view. I didn't use the rooftop pool but walked up there to see the spectacular views.

Let me start of by saying that the staff at GHL Hotel were VERY helpful. The minute we walked through the door we were treated like family. The check in process was very easy and quick. We didn't have to worry about our luggage the hotel handled all of that. The room were very clean. The rooms had a small sink near the entry door which I'm not sure why, a small closet, small refrigerator which included snacks and drinks (at a cost of course). I did notice that the hotel did not furnish face towels. Only had 2 towels and a hand towel. I did ask the front desk if any face towels were available and the response was we don't supply those. We were able to pickup a few face towels at the dollar store. The pool was amazing (kiddy pool and adult pool). The loved the location of the hotel. Was not far from the airport about 10 to 15 mins. The hotel is not that close to a grocery store but its a 10min cab drive. There is a small convince store on the property but will be limited on some things. The hotel sits on the beach shore which I took a beach walk every morning. The hotel restaurant was EXCELLENT!!!. The food was outstanding and very cheap. Although we did not know that much Spanish the staff was very helpful to cater to us and using our phone translator came in handy. I would have never thought I would have visit Colombia but now that I have I can't wait until I go back. This was a truly a great vacation. Thank you GHL Hotel Relax Costa Azul for a wonderful time. I like to give thanks to all the hotel staff.

La atención del personal fue excelente, estuvieron muy atentos todo el tiempo, desde el momento que se hizo la reserva, al llegar al hotel y durante la estadía. Nos entregaron la habitación antes de tiempo, lo cual fue muy favorable. Nos prestaban toallas para llevar a la playa. La vista de la habitación hacia la playa fue fantástica e increíble. La comida del restaurante estuvo muy buena. El personal estuvo muy pendiente de explicarnos con respecto a todo lo necesario. La entrega de la habitación estuvo bien. El aire acondicionado estuvo excelente. El baño tenía una cortina, pero bueno, eso es lo de menos. Asearon la habitación siempre que lo necesitamos lo cual fue muy favorable. El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación, se encuentra en el rodadero, cerca de restaurantes, bares, farmacias, centros comerciales, entre otros sitios que te permiten caminar con tranquilidad y visitar lo que necesites. El ascensor tiene una tarjeta para subir directo al piso de la habitación, esto me parece muy seguro, sin embargo, si el núcleo familiar se divide, le toca esperar a que la persona que tenga la tarjeta baje hasta donde se encuentran los demás para permitirles acceder al piso a través del ascensor. Lo único que recomendaría es que la piscina del hotel estuviera disponible después de las 06:00 p.m., lo anterior, debido a que este horario coincide con el momento en el cual las autoridades sacan a los turistas de la playa, entonces no se puede disfrutar de la piscina en la noche. Del resto todo muy bien. Lo que más nos gustó fue la atención del personal.

Muy buen hotel, realmente nos encantó, la comida igual súper rica y los servicios todos 10/10. Volvería una y mil veces... esta muy cerca a la playa.

Kemudahannya baru dan makanannya luar biasa! Kakitangan sangat ramah dan kebanyakan masa ada untuk membantu. Namun satu perkara yang saya sangat kecewa ialah koktel. Saya bukan peminum bir, jadi saya lebih suka memilih margarita atau piña colada. Tiada koktel yang saya pesan terasa seperti alkohol dengan harga yang begitu tinggi. Saya akan kembali!

The hotel is very well maintained and clean with amazing pools and a clean beach with good security. The apartment we had had an amazing view of the sea and open air balcony to enjoy. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were too flat and very uncomfortable. We had an issue with the toilet leaking continuously, but we understand they resolved this upon reporting it. It's a bit strange that they charge for dish soap and a sponge to clean the kitchen utensils as well as water, however, in the end we didn't need to use either of these as there is a supermarket nearby where we bought these essentials for cheaper. It would be nice to see a few more trees and greenery around the pools to offer some more shade and cool down the pools a bit. They seemed to have daily activities around the main pool, however, we never received clear information about these. The same applies for other activities that we saw, for example, dance classes. The restaurants really were the biggest let down. Really low quality food that just didn't match with the nice surroundings. For instance, the hamburger was a cheap processed one that tasted like cardboard and their Pad Thai was really not at all Pad Thai but a spaghetti mixed with sweet and sour. The best option though was the buffet breakfast where they did have a wide variety of options that changed slightly daily. The sea by the hotel is apparently cleaned frequently and it has to be said this was noticeable. Also a plus here was that there was a lifeguard on the beach taking care of everyone's safety, something very rarely seen in Colombia! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are very grateful to have had the opportunity to spend a couple of nights here, however it is unlikely that we will return unless the price dramatically reduces, along with the quality of the restaurants.

This was my second stay at Hotel Don Pepe, and I was once again impressed and pleased with all the hotel had to offer. Every facet of the experience was an overwhelming positive; from the cleanliness of the facilities to the friendliness of the staff, I could not imagine a more welcoming situation. I have visited hotels in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Hotel Don Pepe provides the most pleasant hotel experience which I have encountered in all my trips across the world. With so many positives, if I were to chose one characteristic to place at the top of the list, it would be how accommodating, welcoming, helpful, friendly, polite, and enjoyable I found the entirety of the hotel staff to be. This includes all members at all levels of employment with which I had interactions. Hotel Don Pepe and it's staff provide for the most positively divine and relaxing stay of any hotel at which I have ever been a guest. If you aren't booking your next stay at Hotel Don Pepe, then you aren't just denying yourself the best Colombia has to offer, but you are robbing yourself of the most impressive hotel experience you would ever know.

Hotel ubicado en Rodadero bajo, cerca a una playa tranquila y lejos del ruido. El desayuno es normal no muy variado pero ofrece un servicio buffet. Es lugar es limpio y fácil de acceder a transporte publico.

I had an absolute amazing experience at this hotel! First off, ALL the staff is so friendly and helpful with anything that you need. Breakfast included in the morning is delicious and I was even able to enjoy it on their patio outside. The rooms are great, clean and cute with Air conditioning. The best part is the location! It is located just close enough to the beach ( less than 5 min walk) and on the side by the mountain so it is relaxing and quiet even though you are close to everything. I was able to do my work on my computer on the patio as I work remotely. They also provide you with a beach towel which is always nice. Plus the nightly price is unbeatable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else while in Santa Marta, I would recommend to anyone travelling here. I can honestly say that this hotel made me love Santa Marta even more.
