The hotel is set at 3 stars at best, but safety is the first priority. Breakfast is average. The environment and food in Islamic countries cannot be complimented. It only costs 20 dinars from Tunisia airport to this hotel, but the airport rental is too bad and charges 50 dinars You, especially the hotel’s parking taxi drivers, must take pictures and keep them in order to avoid complaints when they are cheated. I have issued a taxi license number for a liar. Don’t take this liar’s car.

I have been going to this hotel for 2 years. The staff is not only very pleasant, but to listen to its customers. The cleanness is impeccable. We feel very safe and this remains well because the airport is next door.

The hotel is located in the city center, opposite the mosque. The hotel is standard four stars, it looks like it is newly built or newly renovated. The twin room is more spacious, clean and tidy, separated from wet and dry, there is mineral water, bathrobe, but no slippers, there is a quilt, which can cover the big quilt of the twin bed. One of us is more embarrassing. Can sleep in a bathrobe. Breakfast is nothing special, no different from the average hotel. The overall feeling is that the price is low, and the price is more expensive for our trip to Tunisia.

I made two separate bookings. The first was for a 2-night stay for myself from July 15-17, 2026, which went very smoothly and I was completely satisfied with it. The second booking was for the following week, a 1-night stay for my father and family from July 22-23, 2026, and that experience was absolutely terrible. I had initially made a mistake with the reservation date, and the manager very kindly offered to modify the booking, including changing the dates and the number of rooms, for an additional fee (which I understood and accepted). However, on my father's arrival day, a week later, the receptionist couldn't find any record of the modifications; only the original booking was in their system. We had to involve the manager again to try and fix the situation, and after a long wait at reception (with young children present), the issue was finally resolved. But then another problem arose: the hotel was fully booked, and there was no availability for a second room. After more than 1.5 hours of trying, the receptionist eventually managed to find two rooms for them. It turned out that this second room hadn't been cleaned at all; it was dirty, smelled musty, the air conditioning didn't work, and to make matters worse, there were cockroaches. My father and the family had a very unpleasant night. They ended up moving the mattresses into the other room just to be able to sleep, as it was impossible to stay in such conditions. Honestly, my first solo reservation was perfect, which is why I made the second booking for my father and family. I never would have imagined such an experience at a 5-star hotel. I assume the hotel was full and they assigned a room that had been unoccupied for a long time and was in a disastrous state. However, the error was entirely on their part; the modification was supposedly made a week prior, and I paid a premium price for this reservation. There's no justification for them being given such a room. We shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes.

I had a frustrating experience at the hotel. The staff at the reception pretended to speak English, but when I asked a question I got vague answers. For example, when I asked for tea, they said ”Someone will bring it to your room”, but it never came. There was no phone in my room and the air conditioning didn't work. The first room they gave me didn't have a TV and there was a problem with the tap. They gave me a room with a sea view, but it was too far from the entrance and I still had problems with the air conditioning and the phone. All these problems were only resolved the day before I checked out. Also, my charger didn't fit into the socket and when I asked about it, I got the same vague answer with no follow up. I even left my phone at the reception to charge, but it never did, which was incredibly frustrating. As for breakfast, you have to go to a restaurant or balcony area where a lady with an angry expression on her face takes care of you, but you are forced to eat whatever she brings to your table, there is no choice. Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite disappointing and not at all what I expected.

Overall, this place offers great value for money. This street is full of hotels named after different countries. The hotel is on a somewhat run-down street, and yes, there will be trash, but it also gets cleaned up. If you're booking a day tour, it's not too far from the meeting point. It was Ramadan, and the owner recommended a good place to eat. The room was quite comfortable for a solo traveler. You might need to ask the front desk for a hairdryer.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, providing a cozy environment to unwind. The common areas, including the lobby and lounge, were inviting and tastefully designed. Regarding the food, I only had breakfast at the hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The breakfast spread was generous, with a good variety of options to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the selection of pastries and the fresh fruit. The dining area was pleasant, with a calm atmosphere that was perfect for starting the day. Overall, my experience at Ambassadeurs Hôtel was enjoyable, with great service, comfortable facilities, and a satisfying breakfast.

Mövenpick Hotel Gammarth is a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere is peaceful, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the private beach is absolutely stunning—perfect for spending the day by the sea. The hotel truly delivers a five-star experience, especially when it comes to food. The breakfast buffet offers an excellent variety of fresh and high-quality options, and the dining venues throughout the hotel are equally impressive. The location is another big advantage. It's easy to reach Sidi Bou Said for a walk through its charming blue-and-white streets, and several shopping malls are just a short drive away, making it convenient for both sightseeing and shopping. The only downside during our stay was the indoor pool policy, as children were only allowed to use it until midday, which limited the time families could enjoy the facility together. Overall, the combination of a beautiful beachfront setting, outstanding food, and a relaxing atmosphere makes this hotel an excellent choice. I would happily stay here again on a future visit to Tunisia.

A pleasant stay. Lake Tunis in front of the hotel is beautiful, and you can enjoy the lake view from your room balcony. The hotel lobby is grand, and the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and guest rooms were all very friendly. The breakfast ingredients were fresh. Although it's relatively close to the airport, you can barely hear the noise of planes taking off and landing when the doors and windows are closed. Standing on the balcony, you can hear the planes taking off and landing, but the noise isn't loud, and it seems like there aren't many flights taking off and landing each day.
