Hotel Dengan Spa di Hessen, Germany

This hotel is incredibly close to the Frankfurt exhibition center, practically right next door, which makes attending events super convenient. It's also just a five-minute walk to the subway station. The Western-style breakfast is diverse and plentiful. Getting to the city center is easy, and it's only a few minutes to the train station. The Römerberg square is also very close by.

Checking in at the front desk was an absolute nightmare. They asked a ton of irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with the check-in process, which was a complete waste of time. We had five people and five rooms on one reservation, but they made us go to two separate counters to check in.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the subway. Even so close to the airport, I couldn't hear the planes taking off and landing while I was resting. The room was spacious and very quiet, and the breakfast was also excellent. This time, I'm especially grateful to the handsome receptionist who worked the early morning shift on August 16th. I was looking for the guest in the room, but I had a midday flight and couldn't get through to them. I probably overslept, so I called the front desk and asked for help. My English isn't very fluent, but the handsome receptionist understood me and helped wake the guest. I'm very grateful. I'll definitely stay here again. 5⭐️.

A bare bones business hotel. Amenities need to be requested at the front desk. Not much options in the immediate area around the hotel for restaurants. The closest are at up the road at the nearest intersection. Breakfast is nice. Though the walls are thin. Didn't get a full bed, but two smaller ones pushed next to each other.

I thought it would be noisy because it was next to the train road, but it was quieter than I thought, and the surroundings are not complicated. It was convenient because there was a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed here for 2 nights for the convenience of being close to the airport, as I had a long international flight to catch out of Frankfurt. The shuttle bus service from the airport was confusing as many buses were picking up from the same spot, but we eventually got it. The shuttle bus back to the airport was straightforward, one every 20 minutes. We particularly appreciated the service of the staff - the number of passengers who come through the door in crowds can be overwhelming, but they always stayed professional and calm. We had an issue with our first room, the air conditioning didn't work (it was 35C during the day) and they offered to change rooms for us. After another similar experience with the second room, they very generously upgraded us to a nicer room, and the air conditioning was much better. The beds were very good. Sadly, we didn't get to try their traditional German restaurant even though I really wanted to, as it was closed on the Sunday evening. The lady at the pool change rooms was very sweet and kind, she helped to show us how the lockers worked. The bar restaurant lady manager(?) was also very nice, she sat us at an outdoor table when we asked to change seats as it was very hot inside. Overall, we felt very well taken care of, and the service staff made up for the non-working a/c.

Lifts are poor and waiting times long at peak times such as Breakfast. Food choices are very limited in the bar and restaurant  Service extremely poor in the bar area but one lady apologised and did her best but 30 minutes waiting time for drinks is not good enough.  Rooms comfortable and clean

I intended to stay for consecutive nights but accidentally made two separate bookings. Fortunately, the staff handled the situation very professionally and allowed me to stay in the same room, which I greatly appreciated. However, the room was not cleaned at all between the two stays. There were no fresh towels, the glasses and trash remained untouched, and only the bed had been made. To my surprise, I even found a cleaning rag under the desk. Given the condition of the room, I regretted not checking out and checking in again. It was disappointing, especially since the staff service had been excellent.

Delighted I stayed here instead of an airport hotel , only 25 mins to Frankfurt airport and a super relaxing place before a long flight , super friendly staff especially Jacky in the hotel restaurant and also had the pleasure of meeting some locals and long term residents to make the stay even more enjoyable , highly recommend it

If I am in Frankfurt, I am staying here. I've sayed in this hotel many times over the last 22 years. I love it. Exceptional service, facilities, attention to detail, and cleanliness. Never let me down. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Hot and cold dishes are plentiful and high-quality. Steigenberger provides good quality hospitality consistency throughout their hotels in Germany. I stayed in many of them and never got disappointed.
