Very friendly staff. We thought we had booked a car park but hadn't so make sure you do in advance. Beds and linen were very comfortable. Bathroom toiletries are all French and are devine. Curtains don't close fully so if you are sensitive to light wear an eye mask. A/C makes a noise like a home nespresso machine 2-3 times an hour so if you are sensitive to noise this may be a problem. Breakfast was available at 27€ but we didn't dine in. Auxerre is the most charming town, I'm not sure why it isn't a big tourist destination. We loved it

We checked in yesterday (02 Jan 2024) for 2 nights stay. The hotel seems to be fanciful but breakfast is priced very expensively at 21€. We wanted to try this new concept of the Accor group anyway so why not? The room was in general clean but to my horror, upon lifting up the toilet bowl cover, I was greeted with a toilet bowl full of yellowish piss that had not been flushed away. That meant that the toilet was never ever cleaned before releasing for next guest.. or the housekeeping took a convenient piss before leaving and forgetting to flush. Anyway, it could be a genuine mistake so let's not make a fuss at this moment. But I was disappointed to see that there was hardly any amenities in the room. No tea or coffee bags with water boiler. There was only a packet of drinking water in the minibar. It turned out that the water was not even replenished the next day. What was funny: there is a sticker on the minibar door that indicates vending machine available on ground floor. But it could not be found. When we asked the receptionist, we were told that the vending machine is still yet to be installed ??!?!? And suggested to us to go to their restaurant bar to order water or drinks instead. No way ! I am not going to pay for pricey drinking water or tea from their restaurant. Not mentioning that the service charge we will have to pay for getting drinking water there. For a hotel at this tariff, I expected at least to have the basic water, teabags and coffee bags available and replenished! At least most of the basic hotels in France offer this. Some hotels would even offered a coffee machine with capsules. It makes us started to look around the room with a more critical eye. Indeed not only drinking water and basic beverages are not offered. There was only a small bar of handsoap and a miserable piece of body soap placed in the shower to be shared by two occupants of the room. Not only that, the next day after housekeeping, the body soap was not replenished at all. We came back into the room to see the previous bar of soap lying there miserably. This is not what we expected from an Accor hotel which is usually a brand we feel confident in. Mama Shelter tries to be hip and fanciful in their loud decor but in real fact is lacking in hospitality by trying their best to save up whatever they can from the basic necessities (soap, drinking water...) Definitely I will not ever stay in this chain ever again. I sincerely hope Accor group will review and see if it fits their usual standards, because I surely don't think so.

Service First Class! The entire staff was very friendly and accomodating but Pierre Bijard stood out. Very capable, professional and knowledgable. Went above and beyond in handiling an online booking/billing issue. I addition he was very helpful in recommending options as well as making reservattions. An employee who represents the organiziation in the finest manner. The breakfast offered a wide variety. Hotel is very conviently located to the central area, train station and metro. Could not have picked a better location

Отличный отель. Локация одна из лучших, весь исторический центр в шаговой доступности. Есть небольшие вопросы к кровати, нам не удалось найти номер с двумя раздельными, а большая кровать не очень удобно расположена в номерах на 5-м этаже. Парковка - 15€ в сутки Внизу отличный бар. Дизайн отеля современный и очень стильный!

Perfect location if you are going to the track of Magny Cours also! Restaurant is good, no need to go outside. Nice wines too! Rooms and beds are more about Ibis level but fine enough. I like the decoration in the room.
Novotel Beaune

This is a great hotel. Really well situated near the motorway but far enough away to be quiet. Has a good pool and restaurant. Location is ideal to stop off at on the way to the south or heading back to the UK. Always busy but never had any issues getting a table for food or using the pool. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Has a secure car park which is a bonus. Staff speak loads of languages. Carrefour petrol station nearby is ideal for filling up before onward journeys. Really recommend this hotel. I plan to return to visit local area but haven't as yet.

We loved this hotel. The decor was wonderful, the staff was very competent and friendly, and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed the location - close to the city center, but still easy to park and walk everywhere. Even though it was on a busy street, the windows were solid and blocked the street noise. The breakfasts were delicious. I look forward to returning to Beaune again.
Hôtel Mercure Beaune Centre

Excellent hotel, conveniently located with free private parking. Reception were welcoming and friendly. Room was very comfortable with a pool view. Hotel bar and snack bar were both good with a friendly manager. The hotel isn’t cheap but, remember, nothing is in Beaune! This is the best Accor property we have stayed at in France in the last few years. Recommended.

When looking for a hotel with EV charging, it is pretty much pot luck isn’t it? Both and TA can’t tell us the type of charger - fast, slow, Tesla etc. I urge these agencies to take their travellers into the 21 century and provide these filters. This hotel surprised the life out of me. Not only were there a bank of fast chargers in the garage, but the premium for usage was very reasonable. Only problem, as always, was a Belgium Q8 parked in charging bay with a thundering V8 diesel engine - when can we educate these people? Charging for my I-Pace was a doddle. The rooms are well appointed and have all that you could want and the bar is well stocked and staff are multi-lingual. We eat out in a favourite restaurant and will most certainly put this on our itinerary for our regular Provence trips.
