Our stay at Grand Mansion 1903 during our Harbin trip far exceeded our expectations, offering an immersive experience of a century-old Russian-style residence. The hotel is a historic building, originally built in 1903, and is located in the heart of Central Street. Its prime location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly convenient and saving us the hassle of commuting. Stepping into the lobby, we were greeted by gilded domes, opulent crystal chandeliers, vintage oil paintings, and antique furnishings, creating an instantly captivating atmosphere. The iconic century-old elevator is a unique feature, with its retro iron grille door, making it feel like we were transported back to an old Russian aristocratic mansion. The guest rooms perfectly balance vintage elegance with modern comfort. Carved solid wood furniture and velvet curtains add to the charm, while amenities like underfloor heating, capsule coffee machines, and high-end bathroom products ensure a superb stay. The hotel skillfully blends the historical essence of the old building with excellent living comfort, making for a wonderful resting experience. The hotel service was attentive and thoughtful, with butler-style reception making us feel exceptionally welcome. They also offer a complimentary Russian costume experience, perfect for taking great photos. The breakfast at the underground wine cellar restaurant was of high quality, offering both authentic Russian delicacies and Chinese dishes, with a rich variety and a stylish dining environment. Overall, this is not just a hotel, but more like a small historical museum. It allows you to experience the hundred-year history and charm of Harbin while offering an excellent location and meticulous service. It's highly recommended for anyone visiting Harbin.

We chose the Shangri-La Hotel for this trip primarily because of its Horizon Club River View room. And it certainly lived up to its reputation once we checked in! We stayed for 5 days and were treated to stunning sunsets every single day. The room facilities were great, and the environment was clean and tidy. The staff's professionalism was excellent, especially Ms. Xiao Bi at the executive lounge, who was kind and friendly, particularly to us seniors. The hotel's breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff's service attitude was superb! The hotel is also conveniently located; a 2 RMB subway ride gets you to Central Street, Flood Control Monument, Stalin Park, and St. Sophia Cathedral – it truly is a hidden gem of a hotel!

Although the hotel hasn't been renovated in recent years, the facilities are very well-maintained and clean, without feeling outdated. There's no musty smell in the rooms, and the plumbing works perfectly. The service is thoughtful and meticulous, without being intrusive. If I visit Harbin again, I would definitely choose to stay here. There are many local specialty restaurants right next to the hotel, all highly rated on Dianping, as well as two shopping malls, which are very convenient for any purchases.

Traveling with my child, I initially booked a king-sized bed. Upon arrival, I saw they had family rooms, so I paid the difference to upgrade. This room is truly spacious, easily 30-40 sqm! It's very well-equipped with a mini-fridge and a humidifier. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with a double vanity, which is super thoughtful – no more rushing to get ready when there are multiple people in the morning! The room price was also very reasonable. The room temperature was actually quite warm, and the staff were incredibly friendly, truly embodying that heartwarming Northeastern hospitality. It was really great!

Our stay at this new hotel was fantastic! The room was super spacious, perfect for two adults and a child. They even set up a sofa bed for us, so everyone had their own bed. Having a bathtub was a huge plus – after a day of digging for shells, a hot soak was incredibly relaxing for the little one. Our room on the 15th floor offered amazing views from the large window, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The self-service laundry was convenient, and my child thoroughly enjoyed the gym. The wontons at breakfast were delicious, and they even added beef! While the selection wasn't as vast as a Hilton, the quality of ingredients was outstanding. We especially loved the healthy salads with kale. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center. It's only a 10-minute walk to Qinhuang Alley, and a short taxi ride to Xigang Garden, Jinmeng Coast, and Qianshuiwan. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qinhuangdao!

A French-inspired retreat amidst the bustle, a perfect stay! Choosing Sena Residence Harbin was the best decision of my trip. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the front desk staff's warmth and professionalism were reassuring. They promptly adjusted my room due to my sleep issues, making the check-in process efficient and thoughtful. Although the hotel is in the vibrant Central Street shopping district, my street-facing room offered surprising tranquility. This is thanks to the excellent double-glazed windows; once closed, they completely shut out the city noise, leaving only peace and comfort. The room itself was spacious and well-laid-out, with no cramped feeling. The bathroom was particularly impressive, featuring a great separate wet and dry area, ample space, and neatly arranged toiletries – attention to detail was evident. Cleanliness was impeccable. The cleaning staff tidied up daily, keeping the room spotless. What truly touched me was that during my four-night stay, they proactively changed my bed linens once. This dedication to hygiene made my stay incredibly reassuring.

The location is super convenient! A ten-minute walk to the left takes you to Qiulin Company and Fendou Food Store, and another ten minutes gets you to the Provincial Museum. To the right, there are many snack bars and BBQ stalls, and if you keep walking, you'll reach the Church of the Intercession. It's also a short taxi or subway ride to Central Street or the riverside. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Harbin, this one had the most convenient transportation. It seems they host a lot of group bookings, as there were always guests waiting to check in at the front desk every day. So, available rooms might be limited and you should book quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, very patient and meticulous, and even assisted me with contacting a courier (੭ •_•)📦

I was looking for a place close to the Grand Theatre to catch a show and stumbled upon this gem of a B&B. It's less than a ten-minute ride to the theatre. The hotel manager, a beautiful and kind lady, was absolutely wonderful. I arrived around dinner time, and she even brought me some dumplings! After the musical, she arranged a car to pick me up. Knowing I was heading to Central Avenue, she even gave me her own hand warmers. The room itself was clean, spacious, and cozy. If I ever come back, I'm definitely staying here again!

A bit disappointed. We were driving, so parking was our top priority. Many hotels near Central Street either only have a few parking spots right at the entrance or no parking at all. This hotel has its own parking lot, and the location is indeed excellent, very close to Central Street. However, the room was tiny, pitifully so; the bed was right there as soon as you opened the door. And the facilities were very, very old. I honestly felt that for this price, the room was a huge letdown – the discrepancy was just too big. The front desk staff, though, were quite friendly and good. I forgot to take pictures, so I used the hotel's images. The pictures are accurate, but in reality, the facilities are much older.

I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin. The hotel boasts a prime location on the north bank of the Songhua River, in the heart of Songbei. It offers convenient access to major attractions like Sun Island, Harbin Grand Theatre, and Polarland. It's also just a 10-15 minute drive to Central Street and the Old Daotai Chinese Baroque Street. The complimentary parking is a huge plus for those traveling by car. The hotel's architecture is modern and grand, and stepping into the lobby, you're greeted by a spacious, high-ceilinged area with sophisticated, minimalist decor, creating a truly impressive ambiance. During check-in, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Riley Kong at the front desk, whose service was truly outstanding and perfectly embodied the principle of 'customer first.' He was enthusiastic, thoughtful, humble, and polite. The check-in process was efficient and seamless. He patiently and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities, provided recommendations for local attractions, and answered all our travel inquiries. His communication struck the perfect balance – not overly zealous, yet genuinely caring and comfortable. A small detail that stood out was his WeChat ringtone; it was the most stylish and tasteful I've ever encountered – unique and classy. Such small details truly reflect a refined personal aesthetic and left a lasting impression. We stayed in a river-view room, which was spacious and airy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Songhua River. Harbin in September, with autumn colors beginning to emerge, offered breathtaking views of the vast river and the vibrant autumn foliage on both banks. We enjoyed the gentle river breeze during the day and the beautiful sunset in the evening – an absolutely fantastic visual experience. The room's decor was elegant and understated. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress provided just the right amount of support, ensuring a full night's rest after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, and the toiletries were of high quality. Hot water was stable, and we could even enjoy the river view while soaking in the bathtub, which added to the ambiance. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was stable, and there were plenty of power outlets. The soundproofing was excellent, making for a very quiet night. Housekeeping was meticulous, keeping the room spotlessly clean, with every detail reflecting the hotel's thoughtful approach. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. The 24-hour fitness center is equipped with brand-new machines, and there's also a heated indoor swimming pool, perfect for unwinding and relieving travel fatigue after a day of exploration. Guests booking executive rooms can also enjoy the executive lounge, where the afternoon tea and evening happy hour snacks and drinks are of high quality. Sitting by the window and admiring the river view is a truly delightful experience. The breakfast buffet also deserves praise. The selection is rich and diverse, offering both Chinese and Western options. There were authentic Northeastern delicacies, as well as Western pastries, coffee, and fresh fruits. The ingredients were fresh, and the food quality was consistently excellent. The dining area was spacious and bright, providing a great start to each day of our trip. The hotel's overall service was impeccable, with thoughtful turndown service and prompt room service. All staff members were polite and patient, and all our requests were handled efficiently. This trip to Harbin, the JW Marriott Hotel's environment, views, and dining were all satisfying. However, it was truly Riley Kong's professional and warm service at the front desk that added so much warmth to our journey. It's perfectly suited for family trips, friends traveling together, or business travel. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Harbin and sincerely recommend it to all travelers visiting the 'Ice City'.

The hotel has some pros and cons. The pros: 1. The location of the hotel is superb, Right on the Northern side of zhongyangdajie. 2. The gym is adequate, it has good strength training options. Unfortunately the AC doesn't work in the room itself. 3. The staff was happy to allow us a late checkout. The cons: 1. The entrance to the hotel does not have a ramp to go up with the luggage so one must lift it over the stairs into the lobby. I didn't expect that in a 4 star hotel. 2. I've made a reservation for a non smoking room, away from the elevator but got a room with smoke smell, close to the elevator. The staff showed me 3 more rooms but the first two also had smoke smell. Finally we got a room without smell and far from the elevator. 3. The breakfast, in my humble opinion, was subpar. Not too many western options. 4. The hotel doesn't look clean. The surroundings of the elevator need more work. All in all I was a bit disappointed, considering the price.

First, let me talk about the hotel itself, to provide some reference for future travelers. The hotel is located in Songbei District, which is quite convenient if you're planning to visit Sun Island or the Ice and Snow World. The service was very attentive, and the entire hotel was decorated with unique flair. The staff all wore ethnic costumes, and the ubiquitous log-cabin style gave it a full sense of design. The rooms also featured exceptionally large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an unbeatable view. Now, let me share my personal feelings. I'm originally from Genhe, the very place where Aoluguya (the hotel's inspiration) is located. It's been many years since I moved away and haven't returned to Genhe. Over time, I've even developed a kind of 'near-home apprehension.' For me, choosing Aoluguya was an absolute no-brainer. My home and my elementary school all had some connection, big or small, to Aoluguya. Staying at Aoluguya this time, there were truly many details that touched me. For example, the photos and stories of the Ewenki tribe in the hotel lobby, the reindeer and birch elements visible everywhere in the lobby, corridors, and rooms, and even the books I found in my room: 'The Right Bank of the Argun River' and 'Aoluguya Customs.' What others might see as a distant and mysterious place, for me, represents familiar hometown sights and sounds ingrained in my very being. I can't represent all of Genhe, nor do I have the right to speak on behalf of Genhe. But as a Genhe native, I sincerely thank you for creating such a hotel in Harbin, using the imagery, elements, and symbols of Genhe. It allowed me to briefly dream of my hometown, a thousand miles away. Thank you for keeping this flame alive in Harbin. I wish you prosperous business, so that Harbin will always have a place that holds the snow and wind, the ancient pines, and the negative ions of the Taiga forest. The next time I come to Harbin, or rather, every time from now on, I will definitely come back. 🌲🦌

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and felt very comfortable and satisfied. Despite being an older hotel, the management is excellent. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. The location is also great; Metro Line 3 and the Songhua River cableway are just across the street. What's particularly noteworthy is the fantastic restaurant. The environment is clean and tidy, the facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast is very rich with a wide variety of choices, easily meeting five-star standards.

I had a very satisfying stay. The hotel service was excellent; I was greeted every time I left. There's a parking lot in the backyard, which is very convenient. The hotel is very close to St. Sophia Cathedral, just a few minutes' walk away. It's a 20-minute walk to Central Street. There are many snack shops downstairs, and it's also very close to Daoli Market.

I highly recommend staying here. While the hotel is a bit older, the decor is excellent, and the design is very refined. There were quite a few guests staying as well. The breakfast is highly recommended, especially the sauerkraut dumplings – they taste very authentic. They also had sauerkraut with boiled pork slices (Suan Cai Chuan Bai Rou). The snowflake patterns on the carpet at the entrance show the hotel's thoughtfulness towards its guests and its original intention to promote Northeast China's ice and snow culture. However, for those traveling by car, I'd advise caution as parking spots in the front lot are quite limited. Otherwise, no complaints.

My son's girlfriend came to Harbin for a visit, so I booked this hotel for her. As soon as she checked in, she sent me WeChat messages and photos, saying how much she loved it here. She said the hotel was like a European castle and the room felt like it was set up for a princess. The hotel is in a prime location on Central Street, within walking distance to all the main attractions. She really enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea, as well as the welcome fruit and souvenirs. She only speaks a little Chinese, and mentioned that Ms. Ranran at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She specifically asked me to give the hotel a 5-star review.

Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

Five-star review! The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was great. It's super convenient for getting around, very close to the subway. Our check-in experience was fantastic. My friend and I came for a trip and definitely didn't pick the wrong hotel. The bed was really soft, and the room was spacious and bright. There's even an amusement park within the resort, so if you get tired of staying in the hotel, you can go wander around – it's all very interesting. The entire park has a European castle architectural style, which is beautiful and perfect for photos. Plus, all the staff were wonderful, with very friendly service. There's also a shuttle bus within the park, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was incredibly rich and awesome! We even happened to catch a newly opened venue within the park and went to check it out – it was so dreamy and huge, you could even do cosplay! It was amazing. No matter where you went, the staff were always super nice. 👍

This is hands down the best value hotel I've ever stayed at. At just over 200 yuan, it's comparable to hotels costing 300-400 yuan in the south. It's one of the Home Inn hotels! We traveled from Guangxi to bring our child to university in Harbin, and also visited Qiqihar and Changbai Mountain along the way. We booked this hotel for those stops too, staying a total of 10 nights! Firstly, the location is superb. It's at the transfer station for Metro Lines 1 and 2, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions later. Directly across the street is the landmark Qiulin Company, and you can easily explore both the underground and ground-level malls. Secondly, the room facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic, with free laundry and drying services. Plus, the lobby on the first floor offers 24-hour complimentary tea, freshly ground coffee, and small snacks. Every day, we'd grab a hot drink before heading out and when returning, which felt really nice! I can't forget to mention the breakfast – the restaurant environment is lovely, and they offer both Chinese and Western options, along with freshly cooked wontons and noodles. We were very satisfied! All in all, hotels at the same price point where we come from can't even compare! And the food throughout our Northeast trip was incredibly authentic, made with real ingredients, and the city sanitation was excellent – highly recommended!
