Pros: (1) Excellent location, right on Chunxi Road, with a direct shuttle service from the hotel to the Panda Base. (2) The staff were very friendly and even gave small gifts to the children. (3) The package deal offered great value for money. Cons: During my stay at the hotel, I constantly suffered from rhinitis and skin allergies. Both issues resolved immediately after checking out/changing hotels, suggesting that the room's cleanliness needs significant improvement.

Not to sound exaggerated, but Grand ParcVue Hotel is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Having travelled to many countries and stayed in different types of hotels, I would rank the overall experience and service here among the top tier. I stayed in a Deluxe King Room for 3 days and 2 nights and was already impressed upon arrival. I checked in at around 1am and was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff before being assigned a room on the 23rd floor. There was a slight unpleasant smell in the room, possibly coming from the kitchen, but it wasn't a major issue as I could close the doors to prevent it from coming in. I bought an air freshener myself, and what impressed me was that the manager came personally the next day to check on the situation and even provided an air purifier. The breakfast was another highlight. I enjoyed trying the local dan dan noodles, and I noticed many international guests from Korea, Japan and Western countries. The dining hall staff were all friendly and professional. The gym on the 6th floor was also surprisingly well-equipped, with a good selection of dumbbells and machines for a full-body workout. Even more impressive was the Relaxation Room on the 7th floor, where guests can enjoy several massage chairs 24 hours a day. There is also a Business Lounge on the same floor, which is a great place for meetings, conversations or simply getting some work done. The hotel is also directly connected to Yanlord Mall, so you will never have to worry about finding restaurants or shops. Do note that it is a high-end mall, so food there can be relatively expensive. One thing I particularly appreciated was the hotel's hospitality even after checkout—I was offered access to the Business Lounge on my final day so I could conduct my online classes comfortably before heading to the airport. Overall, I had an excellent stay at Grand ParcVue Hotel. The combination of great facilities, convenient location and, most importantly, genuinely attentive service made this stay memorable. I would have no hesitation booking this hotel again if I return to Chengdu. **Highly recommended!**

🍬 Location: At first, I thought Taikoo Li was right downstairs, but it's actually a few hundred meters from the nearest metro station (Tianfu Square). Normally, it wouldn't be considered far. But since I'm pretty lazy, I only took the metro on the first day to avoid traffic—after that, I just took cabs everywhere. 🍬 Ambiance & Facilities: Everything was very clean and quiet, from the 1st-floor lobby and the 8th-floor check-in area to the pool/gym on the 10th floor and the guest room floors. 🍬 Overall Service: Every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant, including the 1st-floor concierge, who provided top-notch service. 🍬 Sleep Quality: I absolutely loved the bed and pillows; I slept great every night. There was zero noise, and with the curtains drawn, the room was pitch-black even in broad daylight. 🍬 Breakfast: The selection wasn't huge, but the food was delicious.

I was curious about the much-discussed Ritz-Carlton flooring I saw online, so I decided to come and experience it for myself. First of all, the signature elegant vibe of the Ritz-Carlton is definitely there. The overall competence of the staff is acceptable, but just barely passing. Another thing that made me curious: do they only call high-tier elite members before check-in? Is it really unnecessary to contact regular members or guests who don't participate in loyalty programs prior to their arrival? I feel that at the very least, they should ask guests for their approximate arrival time. This would certainly help with room coordination and arrangement. All in all, given Chengdu's relatively weak luxury hotel market, it barely meets the standard. However, compared to properties elsewhere in China, it still has a long way to go in many aspects.

I highly recommend this hotel with five stars! The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. You can walk to Chunxi Road and Tianfu Square, and it's also very convenient to get to other attractions by public transport. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making check-in and check-out super fast. They also patiently helped us with directions and travel routes. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the facilities were well-equipped. The bathroom's wet and dry separation was very well done. After a long day of travel, coming back to the hotel for a quiet and comfortable rest was wonderful. There are tons of great food places and shops nearby, so you'll never have to worry about eating or shopping. Choosing this place for a trip to Chengdu truly takes all the hassle out of it. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Ruicheng Hotel is a 10 out of 10! It's a large property that stands out for its exceptional value for money. Located right next to the subway station, check-in is super fast, and the staff speaks English and is happy to help with luggage storage. They give you a very useful guide with recommended activities in Chengdu. The rooms are well-equipped, super comfortable, spotless, and the bathrooms are clean. The hotel also features a self-service laundry. There’s a robot that delivers food directly to your room door, and the breakfast buffet is totally worth it. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay here again!

Even without being asked to leave a good review, this is a hotel I’m more than happy to spend time writing about. In terms of human touch and service standards, I believe it outperforms 90% of hotels in China priced over 1,000 RMB (my personal subjective view). My rating for this stay: Solid. The location is indeed prime—Chunxi Road is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel decor is decent, but it is definitely showing its age, which I must point out. The shower system is very poorly designed, you can tell the TV cabinet is quite old, and the two sofas were not thoroughly cleaned—they really need a deep machine clean. I have extremely sensitive skin; after sitting for just 15 minutes, my body started to itch, and the two desk chairs show years of heavy use. The texture of the body lotion can only be described as bizarre—it is completely unspreadable. I was genuinely shocked by how terrible a body lotion could be, leaving streaks of white that just won't absorb. The surrounding street environment is admittedly mediocre, and the uneven paving stones at Evergrande Plaza feel like stepping on landmines, which is a bit disappointing, though completely unrelated to the hotel itself. But! Why do I still think it was worth it? This stay truly gave me a rare experience of the professional caliber of hotel staff in China. When staying at hotels in China, I’ve grown accustomed to encountering clueless staff who act like you owe them money, brush you off with excuses, or put on awkward, fake-smiling masks. However, the service staff at The St. Regis Chengdu are genuinely warm, professional, and sincere. The female front desk agent who checked us in, the young man who helped us move our luggage when we requested a room change, the female staff member who came to our room to assist us (was she Thai, I wonder?), the doormen who assisted us with getting in and out of vehicles and the hotel every single time, and the housekeeping staff whom we didn't cross paths with much but showed great tact and respect for privacy—I could not pick a single flaw! From a service standpoint, I genuinely felt at home, and this kind of service experience is definitely not something faked with forced smiles. Moreover, I must give a massive shoutout to the doorman from Bangladesh: his Mandarin was fluent, his movements sharp, and his service enthusiastic and proactive yet perfectly measured. From the afternoon when we headed out to when we saw him again returning to the hotel at night, this young man maintained his dedication and passion for his work every single moment. I could truly feel his respect and enthusiasm for his job. Thank you to him for ensuring we were in such a cheerful mood every time we headed out to explore or checked out to leave. I also want to thank all the dedicated, sharp, patient, and passionate staff at The St. Regis Chengdu who served us during this trip. My companion and I completely agree that if we visit Chengdu again, we will definitely choose to stay at The St. Regis.

The room facilities were complete, and the hygiene was good. The amenities, especially the toothbrushes, were excellent – it's rare to see bamboo toothbrushes these days. Room service was also very quick. The welcoming uncle at the entrance who helped with luggage was very enthusiastic, with a genuine smile. I hope the hotel continues to treat its staff well. The only thing that could be improved is the air in the room; Chengdu's humid weather can make it feel a bit stuffy. There are also many great restaurants nearby, and transportation is convenient.

Location & Transportation: The location is fantastic, with the Chunxi Road subway station right downstairs, making getting around extremely convenient. Plus, the IFS building is just downstairs, where people are always taking photos and checking in—very lively. Room Facilities: The facilities are pretty standard, a passing grade. Room View: The room features a very large window with a great view. Bed: Both the bed and the duvet were very comfortable. Coming back from abroad and dealing with jet lag, a comfortable bed was just what I needed. Cleanliness: The hygiene conditions are decent. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the housekeeping ladies were very dedicated. Value for Money: At less than 300 yuan a night, it's quite a good deal considering this location.

First off, my room was upgraded from Block D to Block E. While it's a bit further from the Ocean Park, it's still a very short walk. Plus, there's a hotel shuttle that runs between the lobby, Ocean Park, and the rooms, so no matter where you stay, it's perfectly fine. I also chatted with customer service manager Mr. Zhao about a 1-hour late check-out, and that was arranged smoothly. If you're two adults and one child, they offer a complimentary children's breakfast upon check-in, but you'll need to purchase an extra Ocean Park ticket for the child. This time, my kid spent two full days in the water. We checked in at 1:30 PM on the first day, had a quick rest, then changed into swimsuits and headed straight to Ocean Park. We played from 2:30 PM until 7 PM. On the second day, after breakfast, we changed back into our swimsuits and played until 2 PM, then came back, showered, and checked out. I feel like we could have easily stayed another day, as we spent all our time playing in the water and had no time for shopping.

Booked my room with private hot bath which was awesome. The room was well planned and comfortable. Breakfast can be delivered to the room and there was complimentary afternoon tea too. The hotel can be a little hard to spot initially since it was at level 8 and not exactly prominent from the roadside but ask ard the area and you should get some help finding the place. During my few days in Chengdu, Jintou Historic Hotel became an unexpectedly gentle footnote to my journey. It isn't flashy, yet it weaves the essence of Chengdu's effortless comfort—*bashu*—into every single detail. 🍵 Afternoon tea, the prologue to Chengdu's slow-paced life The complimentary afternoon tea provided upon check-in isn't a perfunctory freebie, but a thoughtfully prepared ritual. Grab a seat by the window; the pastries are authentic Chengdu flavors—sweet without being cloying. Paired with a pot of clear tea, time simply slows down. With the bustling local street scenes outside the window and the curling aroma of tea close at hand, I suddenly understood: Chengdu's cozy ease can actually begin with a complimentary afternoon tea. This genuine hospitality is more heartwarming than many paid afternoon teas. 🥐 The breakfast is so delicious, it's a reason to wake up early To be honest, I rarely use ”so delicious” to describe a hotel breakfast, but this place pulled it off. The variety isn't outrageously large, but every item shows genuine care: the hot dishes are freshly made with that authentic wok *hei*, the pastries showcase real craftsmanship, and even the side dishes are refreshing and appetizing. The biggest surprise was a few local specialties—one bite and you can tell they aren't mass-produced factory items. For two consecutive days, I willingly woke up early just for this breakfast. Sitting in the dining room, watching the old Chengdu street views outside the window while leisurely finishing a hearty and comforting breakfast, set the mood for a great day ahead. 🏨 Living up to its historic name, rich in heritage The hotel itself carries the charm of old Chengdu with its grey bricks, wooden beams, and courtyards. It doesn't try too hard to fake antiquity; instead, it preserves the patina of time just right. Staying here doesn't feel like staying at a hotel; it feels like stepping right into a slice of Chengdu's bygone days. The location is also very convenient—heading out for food and shopping, or taking a taxi to attractions, is completely hassle-free.

The overall experience was great, offering excellent value for money. The hotel is centrally located in Wenjiang District, making it convenient for both travel and leisure. It's right next to a shopping mall, and the subway entrance is just a 10-minute walk away. My room was on the 10th floor. The facilities and amenities are standard for the Express brand, and they've been well-maintained, not showing the age of a hotel that's been open for 10 years. The breakfast restaurant on the 3rd floor offers both Chinese and Western options. The freshly cooked noodles were perfectly al dente. There's also a self-service laundry machine nearby, which is incredibly practical for guests on longer trips. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service; the location, environment, facilities, and service were all top-notch. I would definitely consider staying here again.

An amazing, serene, quiet stay like no other. Don't get me wrong. 4 stars for location only because it is a little remote. It was not easy to geta Didi to go there, and we had a bit of difficulty to book a Didi leaving this beautiful heavenly resort. We arrived this beautiful homestay quite late, having spent the day in Chengdu. Didi ride was almost an hour+. Dinner was fabulous - simple, yet complex with mountain mushrooms in a hot pot. Accommodating even though the kitchen was closing due to our time of arrival. This place certainly did not disappoint. From the quietness of the streams, to the beautiful, tranquil rooms and evoked a sense of harmony and serenity with nature, we felt so at home. We basked in silence of the bamboo that spoke to themselves, and the running waters through the gentle streams. Both the service staff (names as shown - in Mandarin) were excellent and they always wore smiles as lasting as the QingCheng mountains. Service par excellence - nothing less. Thank you for taking care of us, with sincerity and gentleness as the mountains itself. A place to remember, and return. Thank you.

The facilities are dated, but the design is outstanding and the aesthetics are definitely on point. The location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk to Taikoo Li. I requested a high floor for the atrium room. We arrived at 2:00 PM and were made to wait for an hour because they said it was being cleaned. Then at 3:00 PM, they told us the room smelled of smoke and reassigned us to a different one. There was no welcome fruit in the room, and the breakfast was quite mediocre. Since it was the National Day holiday, there were many weddings, and you could hear all the commotion outside as soon as you stepped into the lobby. When we purchased the Grand Club access, the front desk didn't explain things clearly. They just said our booking only included one breakfast and asked if we wanted to add another. After adding it, we realized it actually included Grand Club lounge access. When we asked for a refund, it took some back-and-forth, but the manager eventually refunded it. Overall, though, the service attitude left much to be desired.

Although the staff are on shifts and we met different people each day, everyone showed the same level of friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. Ever since I received such warm assistance from the Shangri-La during the pandemic, I've chosen this hotel every time I visit Chengdu. Although the hotel is a bit older, all its facilities are very well-maintained. The gym has a full range of high-quality equipment, and the changing rooms offer both steam and dry saunas, as well as a hot tub, definitely meeting a five-star standard. Towels are always plentiful. Housekeeping is punctual every day, and there's even a turn-down service between 6 and 7 PM. I find the breakfast quite good, with a variety of options including Japanese cuisine. The location is also excellent; for younger, more energetic guests, the Lan Kwai Fong bar street is just 100 meters to the right of the hotel. All things considered, the Shangri-La remains one of the top hotels in Chengdu.

The location is excellent; you can walk to Hejiang Pavilion and Taikoo Li. The area is lively, yet the hotel itself is very quiet. The executive lounge was closed, but all benefits were moved to the all-day dining on the first floor. Both afternoon tea and happy hour were decent. The minibar and complimentary laundry service were a nice touch. Service was prompt and the staff were friendly. However, shortly after I booked, the pool was suddenly announced to be closed. When I spoke to the front desk, they said they didn't have the authority to upgrade me to a suite. Upon check-out, they mistakenly charged for the complimentary laundry service. I only realized it after leaving and had to go back to remind them to refund the extra deposit, which was a bit annoying.

Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel is about to celebrate its 70th anniversary, and the philosophy of making guests feel at home is deeply ingrained in every staff member. Everyone I encountered in the hotel had a smile on their face. Although some rooms are currently undergoing renovation, you won't feel any inconvenience from the construction. The breakfast is rich and the service is meticulous. Because of my old age and poor eyesight, I couldn't find the toiletries. A staff member immediately brought them to me and pointed out where they were placed. Staying at Wanda Reign Chengdu this time was an absolutely stellar experience, I just had to write a detailed positive review! First off, the check-in process was excellent; the front desk staff were efficient, so there was no long wait, and they were all friendly and professional. Throughout my stay, I had a dedicated butler providing attentive service – whether it was directions, room requests, or dining reservations, their responses were incredibly prompt, truly showcasing a high level of premium service. The room itself far exceeded my expectations; it was meticulously cleaned, every corner spotless, and the bedding was fresh and odor-free. The mattress had the perfect balance of softness and support, allowing me to completely unwind after exploring Chengdu's streets and alleys, leading to truly restful sleep. The hotel's facilities are also comprehensive. The underground parking has ample spaces and easy access, making it stress-free for those traveling by car. The heated swimming pool has clean water and a serene environment, and the gym is well-equipped, creating a great workout atmosphere – it was a real pleasure to relax and exercise during my free time. The dining was another major highlight. Breakfast runs from 6:30 AM all the way until 1:30 PM, which was incredibly convenient for someone like me who enjoys sleeping in! The variety was extensive, offering everything from Western pastries and live cooking stations to authentic Sichuan snacks, freshly made noodles, and specialty bites. I left feeling completely satisfied and happy. The afternoon tea on the 41st floor boasts an amazing view, overlooking the city and offering a panoramic sight towards Jiuyan Bridge. Both the sweet and savory treats were exquisitely crafted, creating a wonderful ambiance. For dinner, I chose the Pin Zhen Chinese Restaurant. The dishes were authentically flavored, with the Sichuan cuisine being fresh, fragrant, and rich in taste. The private rooms offer great privacy, making it suitable for both casual gatherings with friends and business dinners. From the meticulous service and room comfort to the dining and recreational facilities, every aspect was impeccable. Its excellent location also made sightseeing convenient. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark for luxury hotels in Chengdu. I will definitely choose Wanda Reign again on my next visit to Chengdu, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel! Everyone were super keen to help and the hotel room itself was really clean no weird smells and spacious. The location is quiet and nice. 5 min walk from the metro and there are bikes parked right outside so you can ride wherever. There’s only one washing machine but they were completely ok with my delayed checkout due to waiting to the dryer to end. Didn’t take photos of my room but it was exactly as the pictures they put if not better:)

We drove to Chengdu, and since there are traffic restrictions based on license plates, having a parking lot at this hotel was incredibly convenient. The security guard was also very kind and welcoming. The front desk staff was diligent and responsible. The room wasn't huge, but it was very elegant, and the bedding was super comfortable. There are lots of great food options nearby, and it's really close to Chunxi Road. If you want to go to Sanxingdui, you can just take a bus from Chunxi Road. Chengdu truly is a relaxing city! After a long day of sightseeing, coming back and having some tea was just perfect. The front desk even gave us a Wenshu Monastery prayer bracelet with 18 beads!

The location is excellent, very close to Metro Line 2 and convenient for buses. Kuanzhai Alley is also nearby and within walking distance. There are plenty of dining options in the surrounding area, catering to all budgets. The room was spacious enough, and it came with tea bags, soft candies, and cookies. In the hallway, there were cold fruit drinks and hot coffee available. All the hotel staff were very friendly. The hygiene was good, and the facilities were neither new nor old. The bathroom occasionally had a slight odor, but that's a minor point, and overall, I highly recommend it.

I have to say, this is one of the most satisfying hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby smells lovely, and there's free coffee and drinks! The service is also exceptionally good; the front desk staff are polite and helpful, and the housekeeping ladies always greet you proactively, which is very pleasant. It's also very convenient for getting around, being close to the subway and bus stations – just a 2-minute walk. It's also near Chunxi Road and Jiuyan Bridge. There's a laundry room on the first floor with free 24-hour use of washing machines and dryers, which is really convenient! Overall, I'll definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the zoo and panda base, and the receptionist, Xiao Shu, greeted us warmly as soon as we entered the lobby. She gave our child candy and even provided slippers and a children's toothbrush – very thoughtful! The hotel environment was great, and there were many snack shops, hot pot restaurants, barbecue restaurants, and skewers restaurants nearby, all with delicious food. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the shower temperature was just right. The air conditioning was also very smart. We could call the front desk for any issues, and they always resolved them promptly. The service was truly excellent.
