The service and breakfast were both good. I even forgot something, and the hotel called to thank me for it. However, the strange thing about this hotel is that the air conditioning only turns on at 6 PM. I came back from Maiji Mountain in the afternoon and was really cold, wanting to rest in the room. But I ended up having to wear my down jacket indoors. Air conditioning only starting at 6 PM? This is the first time I've encountered something like this in all my years of traveling!

The hotel is located in the Old Street commercial district. Finding parking was a bit of a hassle, but if you call the front desk beforehand, their directions are very clear. I had forgotten my contact lens solution and couldn't buy any since I arrived late. When I asked the front desk for help, they surprisingly lent me their personal solution to use! Huge appreciation for their kindness and excellent service. The beef noodles at breakfast were delicious, although other options were somewhat limited. The overall environment of the hotel is pleasant, and despite its location in a busy commercial area, the room was quiet and undisturbed. There are many convenient dining options nearby; I recommend trying the 'Kang Guo Yang Rou' (pot-stewed lamb).

Perfect location! It is within walking distance of Mingsha Mountain. The “western”dining hall on the roof is the best place to enjoy sunset (without climbing the sand dunes) - a benefit only available to the hotel guests. An additional perk: The hotel offers a free drink (free cookies come with drinks). The hotel looks like an ancient Western Region fortress, and the room is decorated with local ethnic style. It is not brand new, but everything is clean and well maintained. We stayed there two nights. The food were good, and the staff were nice and helpful when checking out potential allergens for my daughter. Highly recommend this place!

Very attentive hotel. First of all, the hotel staff is well trained, the service is standardized and meticulous, and it is the best impression of the northwest trip. Secondly, the room is very spacious and clean, and two washstands are designed for easy use. The bedding selection standard is high, moderately soft and very comfortable. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is also very good, special beef noodles, croissants and other sandwiches taste good, other pastries and Chinese breakfast can also be remarkable. The most important thing is that such a beautiful and high-end hotel is pet friendly! Pet friendly! Pet friendly! This is too rare! I hope to keep going!

First time in Zhangye doing the Silk Road. We’re Australians and don’t speak Mandarin. The hotel is brand new and the facilities were great. Service was fantastic and even though the reception couldn’t speak English they were so helpful and we communicated using a translation app to recommend restaurants and help us book transport. The General Manager of the hotel is called Jeffery and he speaks fluent English and was very helpful as well. Definitely recommend this hotel for tourists.

This hotel just opened during the National Day this year, and you can check in for less than 300 yuan, which is very cost-effective! The room is beautiful, the bathroom is big, and the rest area in the lobby is very nice! There is a welcome juice hall and cookies in the lobby. The breakfast is very rich, including Chinese and Western snacks, as well as the local specialty snack ”Yao Chuan”. My favorite is the freshly fried onion rings and soybeans with tomato sauce. The freshly ground coffee and grain drinks are delicious.

The original member of staff that checked me in was extremely unprofessional. We were a family that came to visit with all permanent residents cards ( Green Cards ) and the way it was handled with very unprofessional. 1. The hotel should be aware that they don’t need to photocopy permanent residents cards as we are treated the same as local ID cards. The manager needs to train staff. I appreciate it’s rare to see but it wasn’t handle correctly. We have done amazing things for the country, China - and to be treated like this was disgraceful. One woman who helped us to our room, she was totally amazing! She was very professional- she understood professionalism and great customer service. We won’t ever forget such a wonderful woman. The hospitality industry is very important- every detail counts. However the negative impact can last a lifetime. I would like to thank the wonderful woman at this hotel and I truly hope you become manager of this place so you can show some staff members how to treat customers.

This is the first time we stayed with Mehood Lestie in China, and we’re happy with the service provided by all the staff. They made us feel welcome and at home. The room is nice and clean. The free laundry room is a plus especially for travellers like us, who are spending long time travelling in China. They provide free bottled water in the room as well as in the reception and by the lift of every floor. The staff reacted quickly when I complained about cigarette smoke in our room on the first evening we stayed, which I suspected some guests were smoking by the window at the corridor. After they checked and the smell of cigarette smoke was gone. It’s not the hotel’s fault as they can’t always monitor what guests will do, and there are non-smoking signs everywhere in the hotel. Unfortunately, there are always some guests who have no consideration at all. Apart from this slight issue which is not the hotel fault, I recommended the hotel!

Our room was upgraded to an executive room, and the view was fantastic! Huge thanks to the staff for their thoughtful service. Breakfast was decent; as vegetarians, we mostly stuck to the bread, and the European pastries and croissants were perfectly baked. The coffee was good too, and the restaurant was clean, making for an acceptable dining experience. The gym was well-equipped, with a great selection of weight training machines. The housekeeping staff was very diligent; our room was always spotless when we returned from breakfast. While the room facilities were a bit dated and the shower door was quite noisy when opening and closing, the overall stay was still comfortable. The only downsides were that we couldn't extend our stay for more nights and there was no self-service laundry room. The laundry service provided by Hyatt had inconvenient hours. This might be fine for a short stay, but it would be quite inconvenient for stays longer than two weeks. Overall, the Hyatt experience was excellent and well worth a stay when visiting Lanzhou, especially for the stunning night views of the Yellow River.

I have stayed at Atour Hotel several times and the experience has always been great. The service attitude is warm and friendly, the facilities are complete, the parking is convenient and free, the shower water is plenty and hot and comfortable, and bottled water is specially given when leaving in the morning. It has five-star reviews and is recommended for staying! In addition, there are many restaurants within a few hundred meters around, and it is very convenient to eat. Especially walk about 900 meters towards Dingxi Hospital, turn right at the 4th intersection, there are many Northwest specialty restaurants!
