Breakfast was great and we liked our room. However, less than 24 hours after we checked out, I realized I’d forgotten my new North Face jacket in the closet in our hotel room. I called the hotel and they told me to email a picture of the jacket, which I immediately did. Since we were still in the area, we returned to the hotel. The ladies at the front desk said my jacket had been found and they were just trying to locate it and asked us to wait. We waited for an hour. They said they couldn’t find my jacket. Several of the ladies contradicted each other each time we asked them what was going on and why it was taking so long. They finally said the jacket couldn’t be located. They were supposed to follow up and tell me what they would do to make this right. The hotel never followed up. One of their employees called and said the hotel wasn’t going to do anything about it and told me she was calling from her personal phone. Sadly, there are some dishonest employees working at this hotel and someone took my brand new jacket that I’d only worn once since I bought it that week.

arrogant staff in communication, were more busy looking at the computer screen than actually talking and explaining to the customer. (when changing to late check-out, me and my colleague received different treatment and answer. and cleaning could have been better, the shower should have been in better condition

I had no problem with this hotel. Room was spotless apart from the hairdryer. Location is perfect. Supermarket round the corner for cheaper food. Also one in shopping center behind hotel. Next to the harbour. Reception was always happy snd cheerful. I rented a car from literally round the corner. Use getaround app. Breakfast was brilliant. Can't beat a bacon egg roll. Smoothie was lush as well. If I could have one thing for the room it would have to be a fridge.

Das Hotel ist per Flybus (FB40) sehr einfach vom Flughafen aus zu erreichen (Haltestelle DNB-Arena). Es fahren eine Menge Busse in Richtung Zentrum (ca. 20 - 30 Minuten). Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Kunstmuseum, das man zu Fuß vom Hotel in 10 Minuten erreichen kann. Mit dem Hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden, die Rezeption ist fast durchgehend besetzt, die Ansprechpartner sehr freundlich und geduldig. Englisch ist kein Problem. Frühstück ist super und es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen. Wir mussten an einem Tag sehr früh los und es ab ein sog. Earlybird-Frühstück ab 5:30 Uhr! Auch das anfertigen eines eigenen Lunchpacketes (EUR 14,50) ist kein Problem (Verpackung, etc. wird gestellt). Alles in allem ein recht empfehlenswertes Hotel. Wir waren absolut zufrieden.

Very clean. Since there is nobody at the reception, you need to retrieve your door key-card from an ATM Machine inside the corridor of the hotel when you enter. No pb. Well done. Very good location in the historical center.

I had to have meetings before my teaching assignments. Staff vacated a room for me at no extra charge. Next morning, a great breakfast was ready just in time before an early taxi for the 6.40-plane. A unique experience of putting the customer first.

Breakfast was the best so far out of all the hotels we had stayed in Norway(Stavanger, Lofoten, Narvik, Tromsø) Location was good as well. Short walk out and there will be a lake and park.

Un hotel muy céntrico, muy cerquita de las estaciones de tren y bus, y súper cerca del centro, el precio está bien, el buffet de desayuno es extraordinario, tanto en salado como en dulce incluyendo salmón, exquisito por cierto. La habitación grande y cómodo colchón y almohada, la 403 da a la parte de atrás y es súper tranquila sin ruido, baño estupendo. En recepción nos atendieron muy bien, hablando en inglés, echo de menos que cadi nadie habla español.

Sign says Best Western, but I would call this Old Western or maybe Wild West. First of all, this hotel is a fire hazard as it doesn't have a single grounded power outlet in the room. Not even the mini bar fridge (which didn't even work, even if it was powered) had a grounded power connection. All the power outlets were old, and some even with cracks in it. Also no power outlets near the nightstands on each side of the bed. I had to unplug one of the lamps to charge my phone on the nightstand. In the hallway, cables were laid up that ran from equipment cabinets into another room, with power cables squeezed between the door and the door frame. This is against security regulations for electrical installations in Norway. Also in the hallway an equipment cabinet unlocked with door wide open giving anyone physical access to both the fuse box for the entire floor and the data network switches and routers. Did I mention the mini bar fridge didn't work? The light was lit inside it but no cooling. Tried to turn it off and back on, adjusting cooling to max but it still did not work. My bathroom had no shower gel or shampoo. Instead there was hand soap in the shower. I don't need five different hair products to shower in the morning, but I sure won't be washing my hair in hand soap either. Breakfast was included, but what they served could not be considered a typical ”hotel breakfast”. The breakfast hall was tiny, with similar tiny selections. They had some small portions of scrambled eggs but NO BACON at all. On top of it all the reception is not open 24h, so after closing hours guest will need a PIN code to open the front door. Normally at hotels without a 24h reception, you open the front door with your key card or at least a PIN that is easy to remember (like 1234 or the year we're in). In this case the PIN code was a completely random code consisting of four digits, as if it was handed out to you by your bank when you get a new credit card. Two positive remarks: Comfortable bed and great location. Won't be staying here again.

Nice hotel. Walking distance from shopping stores and it is in front of the port. Many restaurants nearby as well as the pay parking is just beside the hotel.
