Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5.
The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety.
What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, “I have other customer,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude.
This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

Неплохой отель, есть все необходимое внутри, можно заселиться на долгое время, поскольку есть кухня и все для проживания - кулер, чайник, холодильник, кондиционер, даже посуда и кофеварка.
Однако не обошлось и без недостатков:
- Очень душно и влажно в номере, в душе швы плитки не моют.
- Не работала стиральная машина, а я заселилась на одну ночь чтобы как раз можно было постирать вещи.
- Балкон не открывался вообще, как бы я ни пыталась открыть дверь, да и балкон был на первом этаже прямо у людей, кто плескался в бассейне.
- Гель для душа и шампунь не индивидуальный набор, а просто две бутылки, которыми пользуются все, так что фиг знает кто там что может подмешать в бутылки из гостей.
- ремонт откровенно некачественный, рейки держатся на скотче, местами отваливается краска в ванной от влажности, кривая покраска стен. В ванной небольшая вентиляция (без вытяжки-вентилятора), выходящая в коридор, через которую слышно любые шаги и разговоры и все что происходит в ванной соответственно тоже.
- кондиционер направлен прямо на кровать, что неудобно, можно простудиться, а не включать его не вариант, так как очень жарко и душно.
- ужасный сильнопахнущий ароматизатор в номере, от которого голова начинает болеть.
- холодильник гремит так, словно перфоратором что-то долбят, невозможно просто с таким шумом спать.
В целом 2-3 ночи провести можно, удобное расположение от аэропорта, на такси можно доехать за 160 песо.

Not the first time staying here, and will go back again.
Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance.
Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont.
First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things.
Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday.
The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it.
The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable.
However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach.
They provide swimming towels too!
I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving.
We stayed for 10 nights in a Standard Double Room located in the West Wing. The room was very clean and well-kept, with daily housekeeping and a very comfortable bed. Air-conditioning and lighting were just right, making the room ideal for rest or work. Wi-Fi was 90% stable, with only occasional drops.
The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Alona Beach and close to shops and dining options. The hotel has a pool and a “Chada” restaurant that serves some of the most delicious food we had in Bohol.
One thing to note is that the building has no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling with large suitcases like we were. Fortunately, the staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with our luggage during check-in and check-out. That level of service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Everyone on staff was friendly, approachable, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and overall, the property felt well-managed.
For the price we paid, this was excellent value for money. I’d happily recommend it to others—especially if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and great food without breaking the bank.
We had an amazing stay at this resort, especially the breakfast. There are many pools and a calm beach, and the gym is very good. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling.
However, there are a few things that could be improved:
1. The Wi-Fi access ends at 11 AM, which is quite strange and inconvenient.
2. You are not allowed to use the pools after your checkout.
3. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds with umbrellas after your checkout.
4. The beach is clean, but there is still a lot of “water grass” and the water is not very deep for swimming.

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in savoy,though the rooms are not that spacious,but enough to move around with luggages, the food is also tasty, everyday they have different menus,the amenities and the view, on the 18th floor is wow...you can see the landscape of cebu by day and by night..memorable indeed..we enjoyed our pool and beach time too.. we will definitely come back again, all the staffs are so nice and polite..special thanks to the feont desk Jeremy, we enjoyed our last 2 nights stay because of him.

I booked an overnight stay at Vivien Hotel, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The TV in my room was not functioning properly, so I called the front desk. Staff came to check and informed me it was a provider issue and that they would try to contact them. However, by 10 PM, there were no updates — I only learned about the status when I followed up myself. No alternative solutions were offered, and I was simply advised to wait until morning. Unfortunately, the issue was still unresolved by the time I checked out. Additionally, the hotel only has three floors and no elevator, which may be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage. The lack of proactive communication and resolution made the overall stay frustrating.
Lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, with fabulous pools and direct access to a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Service was also really good. Tons of restaurants to eat within walking distance. Top class place! My only suggestion is to install coffee machines for breakfast - espressos and cappuccinos are not complimentary, only brewed black coffee is served.

JJeffrey0210We chose to stay here a day early after our Bohol vacation because we didn't want to wake up early for the ferry to Cebu Airport. It's about a 50-minute drive from the Cebu pier and 30 minutes from the airport, so the transportation is quite decent.
The environment lives up to Sheraton's quality. The hotel seems relatively new, so the facilities are very well maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning. Our room type had two 1.3-meter double beds, perfect for two adults and two children, with one adult sharing a bed with one child. The bathroom is spacious and clearly partitioned, with a well-designed shower, toilet, bathtub, vanity, and storage. The bedroom lighting is excellent, and the night light is a definite plus – just enough light for adults to browse their phones after the kids are asleep without waking them up.
Now, for a complaint about the food. We had the dinner buffet at 5cien, and it was, without a doubt, the worst buffet I've ever had. Not a single dish was to my taste. The selection wasn't extensive to begin with, and then the food itself was just bad. It really doesn't justify the price of approximately 235 RMB per person. I tried everything, and it was practically inedible and a waste of ingredients. In the end, I had no choice but to eat the steamed dishes, but even those felt a bit undercooked. Because of that evening's experience, my expectations for breakfast the next day were very low. I didn't dare to hope for anything good, just ate a little and quickly checked out. Breakfast was slightly better than dinner, but that's about all I can say.
Llugares1661Good hotel. we had the misfortune of staying on the same floor with a group of Chinese tourists, they staeted shouting at 7 in the morning in the corridor. The staff intervened promptly. Breakfast is decent forea few days trip, the bacon seems cooked in batches and reheated when needed, so it's too dry and not how it should be. The swimming pool is decent, you get sunshine between 10 am and 2 pm, then there is the shades of the building.

I booked an executive suite, and from the lounge, I could see the sea and the blue sky, enjoying the seamless view. The breakfast offered a wide variety of seafood and many local fruits. The bananas in the Philippines are incredibly rich and fragrant. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again and enjoy the executive suite. In the evening, I wanted to try my luck at the casino, which was very convenient and safe. This was truly another fantastic trip for me.

You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM.

The food is enjoyable, and the serving portions are fair for the price. I recommend trying their pancit; it’s truly delicious.
The rooftop bar feels cozy and relaxing. If you want to unwind after a busy day, it’s a great place to stay. While the wine selection is limited, the warm ambiance makes up for it.
The rooms are decent. We did encounter a broken bidet, but it was manageable and didn’t overshadow our stay.
One aspect I wasn’t particularly pleased with was the beach. It seemed somewhat neglected, with an abundance of weeds. With better maintenance, it could truly reach its full potential.
Overall, our experience was wonderful, and I hope future visitors can enjoy it as much as we did.

What I Liked
1. Excellent service and hospitality, especially at the Oyster Bar. The staff were attentive, warm, and professional, which truly elevated the dining experience.
2. Newly refurbished modern rooms that feel fresh, clean, and well-designed for comfort.
3. Convenient buggy service around the property, which makes getting around easy and enjoyable.
4. Lifeguards stationed at all pools and swimming areas, providing reassurance and a strong sense of safety for guests.
5. Anuma Spa’s ambience and treatment selection, which offer a relaxing environment with a wide range of spa services to choose from.
Areas for Improvement
1. Breakfast management during peak hours needs significant improvement. Around 8:30 AM, the breakfast area becomes very busy, and food replenishment is slow. For example, while there are three hot steamers dedicated to eggs, bacon — a hot favorite — is served on a small plate that gets wiped out within seconds. Food supply and quality control during peak periods should be better managed to ensure consistency. The bread selection, however, is excellent and deserves recognition.
2. Security procedures may unintentionally compromise guest privacy. Guests are frequently asked to state their room number when leaving the lobby, and again when entering through the guardhouse — first to taxi drivers and then to security officers. This means multiple strangers may overhear room numbers, which raises safety and privacy concerns. A more discreet verification process would enhance guest security.
3. Spa promotions for in-house guests are lacking. While the spa experience is excellent, there are currently no exclusive perks for staying guests. Introducing options such as an early bird discount (e.g., 10:00 AM–3:00 PM) or curated half-day and full-day “head-to-toe recharge” packages would be attractive. The spa pricing is relatively high compared to comparable standard spas outside the hotel, so value-added incentives for in-house guests would make the experience even more appealing.

JJaneCherviakovaThe hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, which is true and very convenient. You're greeted with live music at the entrance. Security is present: security checkpoints, baggage scanning, and guards with dogs.
The hotel has its own beach and three entrances to the sea. The water is crystal clear, fish swim right off the shore, and life jackets are free. The hotel is very family-friendly. There are water slides, a kids' club, and a huge playroom. You can even leave your child with a nanny (for an additional fee). There are daily activities for both children and adults, including arcade machines, air hockey, and morning yoga.
Breakfast is included, and it's excellent. There are two restaurants, a huge selection of food, and everything is delicious. Even ice cream is included. After breakfast, children are given marbles—a small change, but a nice touch. Lunch and dinner are extra. There are Italian and Cantonese restaurants, as well as various buffets. There are bars on the beach, by the pool, and in the lobby. Live music plays in the evening, creating a great atmosphere. The grounds are vast: golf, mini-golf, tennis, billiards, table tennis, and badminton. Wi-Fi works great throughout the property. The staff is very friendly.
The main drawback is the renovations; they need a refresh. However, the service and infrastructure are still excellent.
