PPengguna TetamuExcellent experience here, and they accept international guests. The pods are really cool and well taken care of, the location is right by the ancient town, and the common area is stylish and friendly.
The host was very personable and he even gave me a scooter ride to the bus stop when I left.
To find it, the Baidu map location seems not to be correct, but the trip.com map is. It's at the end of a little lane - there's a big barber pole on the main road at the start of the lane.

JJinghanLoved LOVED this hostel! quite easy to get to from the train station and a 15min walk to Dali old town, but there's also a really frequent free shuttle service on offer to get you from the hostel to the old town and back. very clean, wonderful views from the roof and various public spaces and balconies. great social area, and I'm so happy to have made so many friends there. the hostel also offers various group trips to main sights around Dali for really reasonable prices - the best thing is that the tour guide also takes pretty professional photos so you get your memories recorded throughout the trip! the hostel also has cute cats and a big fluffy dog!

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is nearby one of the ancient city in Dali. Just a little bit at a side road from the big road through Dali.
In the street of the hotel are a lot of shops. Also restaurants. You can get (Chinese) breakfast in the morning and lunch and dinner in the evening. At the big road are also a lot of restaurants.
The hotel is modern, clean and the rooms are roomy enough. Of course, the big rooms will be more roomy.
Everything is clean, neat and working.
Just the wifi is a little bit unstable.
A really plus for this hotel are the beds. They are very comfortable with nice thick duvet and clean linens.
I stayed in this hotel in the low season. So the price for this hotel was really neat. But even in the high season, it will be worth every penny.

LLukeWe recently had 3 nights booked here and on the whole, it was a very pleasant stay. The girl on the front desk was extremely welcoming and gave good advice. When we checked in, she recommended a coffee shop and restaurant, which were both great. They also organised scooters for us to travel everyday, and can give guidance on which areas to visit if you haven’t done your research!
The rooms have all the essentials but fit a certain aesthetic. They also washed our clothes for us too! 😎
I would recommend this place if you want a quieter area that’s just outside the ancient city.

PPengguna TetamuThis little hidden hostel is a gem. Since I walked in, I felt welcome and very at home. There is a community feeling, with dinners, patio conversations and kareoke up on the rooftop with a splendid view of the mountains. Dali is always active and you can access the city vibe within 5 minutes but here it is wuiet and peaceful.
The rooms are comfortable and clean and the laundry is a big plus for a traveler.

JjecnvaWe had a wonderful stay at the Lilypad Guesthouse! Erin and the rest of the staff are very helpful, friendly and considerate people. They made made us feel like home. There were always snacks, fruit and tea around and the team gave us tips for activities and even took us to see the firework on mid-autumn festival. On another occasion. they showed us Chinese recipes and we could help cooking lunch. We also enjoyed the family dinner and lunch together with the staff and other guest. Lily and Pady are two lovely cats, Lily is one of the cuddliest cats ever. There is also a sports/yoga/dojo room, a ping pong table and a roof top terrace that can be used. We warmly reccomend the Lilypad Guesthouse and would stay here again any time we come to Dali.

SSteven JohnSong and Dave speak excellent English and Song especially was very helpful and apologetic about only having a room with two single beds rather than the double we booked (a conflict between bookings made on Trip & C-trip). Nevertheless the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Room was clean and tidy although no toilet paper and the flexible shower broken (large overhead shower working). No kettle in room but community water boiler on ground floor in courtyard. Nice atmosphere in hotel and architecturally satisfying, great views from roof where there is a place to do laundry and hang clothes to dry. Short walk to ancient town, and the neighborhood around the hotel also worth exploring. Recommended.

Wwushenn店內環境氛圍很好，很喜歡鏤空的設計，晴天的時候整座屋子都充滿陽光…晚上後院的小彩燈亮起來的時候，很漂亮，很浪漫，很温馨～
青旅裏面也經常插着各種鮮花～很有感覺
老闆人挺好的～很多時間都有義工在店裡麪。遇到的義工人都挺好的。
非常適合長住，可以在這裏認識很多有意思的人，很喜歡這家青旅，也很喜歡大理這座有故事的城市…

RrobynwhaleyThis hotel is more like a flat, it's in a block of flats meaning cars can't pick you up from the door, you have to walk outside of the community. The view is gorgeous and the hotel will pick you up from the railway station and guide you to your room. It's on the opposite side of the lake to the attractions, which we didn't mind as it was nice and quiet and gives you a different view of the lake. The room is decorated with a lot of tacky toys, literally Teddy bears on the bed like a child's room, if they were gone it would be nicer.

Anda mungkin terkejut dan tidak percaya ketika mula-mula melihat lobinya yang kuno.
Laluan ke lif juga agak menakutkan dan gelap.
Tetapi selepas anda sampai ke bilik, anda akan berpuas hati dengan kebersihan, kecantikan, kekemasan dan keluasan bilik itu.
Biliknya sama seperti dalam gambar yang diperomosikan.
Hanya lobinya yang sangat kontra.
Kawasannya dekat dengan stesen keretapi.
Sesuai untuk backpackers.
Pada waktu malam, ada pasar malam di depan kedai.
Murah-murah belaka.
Saya berpuas hati dapat beli 5 helai gaun budak pada harga Rm10 sehelai!
Makanan halal juga banyak dan jalan kaki sahaja dengan hotel.
Cuma sampai sekarang saya masih tidak faham mengapa kedai halal ada jual arak juga.
