I stayed for over a week at the Novotel in Aachen while on a business trip. The hotel is ideally situated next to a great shopping area. Parking is super easy and you need to use our card key to access the elevator. The same card key access is required to enter the lobby after hours. Seems very secure and safe. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. My room as an ”executive” room on the 4th floor, was on a corner and had floor to ceiling windows. What I liked: - Very quiet room - Comfortable bed - Mini-fridge with window and free daily drinks and snacks (5 Item selection including wine and beer) - Great desk setup with memory foam chair - Good TV with external HDMI input - Real glasses in the room - Bathroom wall mounted soap dispenser + other amenities - Nespresso machine with pods and cream To improve - WiFi, even though i was on the premium plan, the signal was weak to moderate - No USB ports - Water pressure just ok - Bathroom sink has not much counter space - AirCon only goes so low (perhaps 24/25?) as other reviewers have noted TIP: If you arrive on a Sunday to Aachen, almost everything is closed, however, towns in Netherlands are as close as a 20 minute drive and most stores are open from noon on Sunday

Prestasi kos yang tinggi. Ia hanya agak jauh dari pusat Aachen, sesuai untuk memandu. Memberi perkhidmatan yang agak lengkap walaupun semasa wabak. Adalah munasabah untuk menukar sarapan kepada jenis a la carte.

I stayed here, with my brothers, for 4 nights/5 days to meet up with 2 other brothers and family/friends. We had an excellent stay, made even better by the service of Nina and Marcus who were very, very helpful, friendly and NOTHING was ever a bother, especially Nina. They are an absolute assett to this hotel and I hope the hotel recognise this. Everything else within the hotel, including staff, accomodation and facilities were great. Bertentangan dengan pusat ujian DSH, kerana mengambil masa yang lama untuk masuk ke venue, malah terlalu lewat untuk pergi ke peperiksaan selepas tidur sehingga pukul sembilan, dan kemudian bersarapan, anda boleh melihat keadaan di luar bilik peperiksaan, dan anda boleh turun ke bawah selepas anda memasuki tempat itu. We traveled through Germany with friends, and ended our trip in Aachen. The entire trip was very pleasant but the final stop in Aachen was a great way to end the trip. Excellent museum on Charlemagne, very good restaurants. We stayed in the best western Regence hotel and found it to be comfortable and an excellent value.

Das Hotel, das Zug um Zug renoviert wird, hat gute und schlechte Aspekte. Uns wurde - wir reisten mit Hund - ein nicht sehr schönes Zimmer auf einem der noch nicht renovierten Etagen angeboten. Entsprechend enttäuschend war das eher kleine Zimmer mit wenig Platz, schäbigen Teppichboden und einem altertümlichen Bad (Dusche in der Badewanne). Gefehlt hat uns auch ein kleiner Willkommensgruß in Form von Wasser und/oder Obst. Ein Haus dieser Kategorie sollte sich derlei schon leisten. Der Fitnessraum braucht dringend professionelle Beratung - er ist schlicht Käse. Die Kraftmaschine taugt rein gar nichts. Warum unsere Bewertung dennoch so gut ausfällt? Wegen der guten Vibes des Hauses, dem guten Service und dem ”drumherum”. Das SPA hat zwar relativ kleine Saunen, aber wenn nicht viel los ist, reichen diese. Auch das Schwimmbad ist ästhetisch erfreulich für das Auge. Gerne saßen wir auf der Terrasse zum Kurpark hin oder tranken abends unsere Cocktails in der Bar. Hervorzuheben ist auch das gut sortierte Büffet beim Frühstück und das praktische Parken in der Tiefgarage. Vom Hotel bis ins zum Dom braucht man übrigens keine Viertelstunde zu Fuß.

Wat een positieve ervaring. Een klein en plezierig hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Eenvoudig, maar zorgvuldig georganiseerd ontbijt. Heerlijke bedden. Er waren veel mensen die voor werk logeerden ( door de week, geen vakantietijd) en daardoor al vroeg de eerste deuren hoorbaar. Dat zou niet storend. Ruime superior kamer die erg netjes en schoon was. De standaardkamer was klein, comfortabel en netjes. De Wellness kost 5 euro per persoon extra. Lekker warme sauna’s waarbij het zwembad wel gratis te gebruiken is.
