Hostal Duran is in a great location-if you are arriving by train, the local minibus (€1.55) takes you to the main square which is just steps away from the Hostal. Alternatively, the caminito to the station is very close by and a nice walk down the hill. Dia supermarket (and Mercadona) are in easy walking distance as are many bars and restaurants. Strolling round the castle is a real highlight. Paco and Monica were very welcoming to the quaint hostal set in a 200 year old building. The whole place is immaculately clean with comfortable beds, great WiFi, a/c and even a fridge. Check in and check out times were also great. We asked for a top floor room and the view was AMAZING. The only disappointment was that pigeons were roosting on the roof and despite the terrace being cleaned every day, we felt we couldn’t use it as the bird poo (including broken eggs) was awful.

No nos recibió nadie al llegar, tampoco nos cogían el telefono para poder hacer el check in. Al final una vecina que conocía a una de las limpiadoras nos ayudo acompañándonos a su casa para que nos diese el telefono del dueño y así lo solucionamos. No sirven comida, ( ni desayunos ni nada ) y tampoco limpian las habitaciones a diario ni hacen las camas, es el primer hotel que he visto funcionar sin nadie atendiéndolo. por lo demás todo bien, habitación limpia con aire acondicionado, agua caliente, nevera.. por esa parte perfecto. Lugar tranquilo y fácil aparcamiento.

La habitación muy bonita. Un toque encantador las escaleras en caracol “lo que más le gustó a mi hijo” Bueno nos encantó todo. La atención del recepcionista Alvaro. Los camareros una atención estupenda. El desayuno genial. Las vistas y la piscina Preciosa. Que hemos estado muy a gusto para hacer el caminito del rey por la mañana siguiente que está Justo en frente el bus que te lleva a la entrada.
