What a find! Not the best of areas but the hostel is very modern, super clean and tidy. Breakfast on offer too. Great selection of cold meats and cheeses. Croissants, yoghurt, cereals etc. Free coffees and teas from the urn although ' fancy' coffees and teas were available from behind the reception. Super WiFi. 5 min walk to the u bahn station. Great location. I will definitely be back.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown

On checking in, we were assigned a room, went to our and it had somebody else's suitcase in it. We went back to the reception and got it sorted. But as two tourists who didn't speak the lingo, we were lucky to have a German friend with us to help. However, the staff seemed unconcerned about the error, indicating this might happen as not as much of a one off error as you might like to think. Our friend was also told we were lucky to be given another room as the hotel was overbooked, and we could easily have been told to go elsewhere. With this in mind, I'd recommend not paying in advance, as we don't know how easy it difficult it might have been to get a refund in that situation, especially as we'd used a booking agent not direct. Thankfully the second room we were given was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable but we did feel nervous that someone else might be allocated our room when we were out. That didn't happen, as far as we know. The hotel is conveniently located for access to the city centre, close to various train stations a short walk away and a selection of local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent! Didn't use the gym facilities but they looked good. The hotel bar was well stocked and friendly, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating although it did seem to close early.

Very well located, very clean and a cozy room. The only thing that was strange for me, it was that I had to pay extra money for city taxes when I checked in for my room. A little noisy during nights, but very calm in early mornings:)

Although the room are nice (good coffee and nicely furnished), the overall experience is rather poor. The staff (1 person only during day and the night shift) is far too inexperienced and likely all below the age of 20. We had the change room twice due to leakage in the air conditioning system. Making sure the wooden floor did not damage from the water, towels were used, but it was clear the staff didn’t bother and made a fuzz about giving us a new room. Also when you call the staff from your room with the room telephone, they do not pick up. When you call them with your cell phone, they pick up. Why? Further, we selected the hotel partially because of the good looking gym. Surprise, you pay for the gym, each time you use it: €15 per person. The Spa is not open, due to the fact that the hotel recently opened (?). It is clear that the hotel is significantly understaffed and that the service level is poor. Cost cutting is understandable post covid, but we got the feeling that the expenses applied for building this place were high, and that cost cutting may make this place profitable long time in the future. Location is good; close to well functioning public transport. Breakfast was fine, no worries there.

The hotel is near the Savignyplatz station, which is a good area. Another plus was that the room was very clean. However, it should not be advertised as a hotel with a gym & sauna. The “gym” was a small room with a treadmill and a cable machine, and the sauna was not working at all. I wouldn’t have booked this hotel if the right information was available.

Although the location and price for this hotel is great, the rooms themselves were disappointing. When entering the room for our first night I was immediately concerned about the room, with some wall fittings falling off, what seemed to be a lack of smoke alarm, one small bedside lamp and a tv relatively small and far from the bed along with only one alternative chair. Despite these shortcomings the room is quite spacious and beds relatively fine, with somewhat good soundproofing on the windows to stop the noise of the busy streets. Although these negatives would have been outweighed by the positives, we also had no room cleaning our entire 6 night stay which was highly disappointing. We would be awakened by the cleaners relatively early in the morning however usually we slept through this first attempt to clean. Most hotels would assume someone is asleep and come back and clean after they have gone about their day however this did not occur for our entire trip duration. To make matters worse we had no toilet roll replacements and had to source our own. In addition, on our 5th night they did Infact enter our room, they did Not take our overflowing bin, towels from the specified pick up area, change our sheets or make our beds or clean any portion of the room as expected of them. All they did was give us toilet roll. Very disappointing considering the ideal location for the hotel and the price.(although much cheaper than anywhere else in the area so some disappointment to be expected)

This was a very good location in Berlin. I was able to walk around safely and get to some great places I wanted to visit, and there's plenty of restaurants in the area and a train, too. The room was clean and in good shape, and they offered a reasonable price. The staff was very nice and helpful, as well.

Hotel was easily located. Staff was super helpful though we arrived late. Room was well prepared too! Breakfast was great and staff was helpful to allocate table as it was crowded. Checking out was also a breeze. This is a must go to hotel for all future stays!

The hotel is clean, modern and well-staffed. What was missing for us was warmth and the expected level of hospitality. During our 5-day stay, nobody ever said hello, goodbye or communicated in any manner unless we asked a direct question. When I checked out, the only thing the receptionist said was to remind me I had borrowed an electrical adaptor and to return it. I travel frequently and expect hotels to be warm and welcoming. Also, when I checked in I was given no hotel information other than the E25 breakfast hours. I'm sure it's wonderful, but I since only have coffee, there is no reason to pay 25 euros. Because we didn't go to breakfast and the receptionist didn't tell us, we missed many features of the hotel we might have enjoyed. To further our disappointing stay, there was no printed hotel info in our room other than a book about the featured artist. I hate QR codes, but when I scanned the hotel's, it gave sp**** information. The hotel lobby isn't welcoming and I didn't go to the bar until my last night so was unaware of all the things Art'otel would have liked me to know. The magazine was interesting and beautiful. Why isn't there a copy in guest rooms? The local information and maps were available in the breakfast area, but we didn't go there and weren't offered them by hotel staff. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the pictures of beautiful bathrooms with tubs. Sadly, the website fails to mention that tubs are only available in expensive suites. Our visit, while nice, was overpriced. We paid for hospitality and a good room, but only the room was up to the expected standards. Very disappointing.
