It was a great experience to celebrate my birthday with them. For a long time, I never felt alone on this kind of days, I was welcomed with genuine and sincere people around with such efforts to make me happy. From the exchange of email with Ms. Paskah to make sure that I'll be accommodated from picking me up to taking note of my requests. To Ms. Jessica, Asep and Mr. Agung who decorated my room as a surprise for my birthday (that was so cute). To Ledy who assisted me from check in to check out and who helped me out to get a Balinese Massage by Wanda. To Bram and Sonia whose been so good, made me feel special on my day, such kind and very hospitable ones. I've been travelling most of the time, and this is the first time I felt at peace and genuinely happy. To realize that life is worth living and the world is beautiful. Thank you so much everyone. That was a day to remember. You touched my heart, and made me believe that gentleness and being sincere still exist.

This resort lives up to my expectations for the price we paid. It actually exceeded.
Location: It is very near the ferry terminal and they arranged shuttle transfers for us to and fro for free. The area around the resort is basically nothing much, Plaza Lagos is dead due to covid. All the shops were closed down. Only a handful of restaurants ( 3?) were still opened ( warung yeah! - didn’t try, BBM Seafood - price was reasonable, food was good, boss is friendly, there’s one more with a mini mart which we didn’t try)
Resort facilities: Private pool, private beach, SPA was so good but a little pricey, the others that I didn’t name are all chargeable.
Food: breakfast spread was acceptable, nothing fancy, lunch options were okay too. The standard of their food was not as bad as what others reviewed previously. No harm giving them a try. Of course, it’s not cheap, resort price. :)
Vibes: Chill and Relax.
Overall, we will definitely want to be back. Thank you for the warm gestures. Every single staff is very friendly and polite. I’m not kidding, even the gardeners.
Improvements: would prefer more activities for children, like a sheltered playground, water slide, else, they may get too bored with playing sands.

The resort is big building and beach front but it is not for swimming, the hotel is okay, the pool got 3 parts. No sauna in the resort.
The Staff at restaurant and room service and housekeeping are friendly. Susan is very helpful but I was surprised that my 11 yrs old child was charges as adult even it stated in your website that Child is 11 yrs old I contest it but no avail so I paid as Adult for 11 yrs old.
We had lunch at Mayang Sari restaurant that serves local cuisine which we always try whenever we visits Indonesia we ordered Oxtail soup but the soup is bland, no umami taste, the beef is dry it's disappointing. The service is good though.
Our check out time was not smooth either, I was asks to pay the bill of more than 3 ml+ idr but my actual bill is just 1 ml + idr.

We spend 3 nights overall is good from Hotel front desk to housekeeping, bell boy and restaurant staff are polite and helpful. Except for the free breakfast buffet which doesn't suits me and my wife foods too salty and coffee is not hot enough, we had tried their other foods which pay by ourselves can consider good then we also walk to nearby Chinatown have our breakfast and coffee. And have Bintan Travel Guide to bring us around for sightseeing etc. The driver Edwin is very familiar with the routes and doesn't needs ud to crack our brains of what we want to eat etc. Automatically will drives us to have our lunch and dinner

This has been the best hotel experience throughout my travelling experience. I brought a big family of 12 pax, and its definitely not easy to handle but the hotel staff has gone out of their way to ease alot of our troubles! The staff were so sincere in helping us with shopping tips, where to get food, transportation and even food. My highest compliments to the GM or owner of the hotel, she definitely went out of her way by making sure we were sent to the ferry terminal safely. she was so humble and definitely made our experience greater. Hotel rooms were definitely new and comfortable. The front desk made sure we were able to have connecting rooms and were on the same level. On top of that, wifi was good throughout the hotel. easy connection. Another compliment goes to the chef at the restaurant. Food was of great quality and worth the wait. A bit of hiccup, but the service recovery was fast and superb. Sincere apologies from the staff and they ensured improvements. I love the breakfast too. good spread and honestly zero negative comments on the food. It was really well cooked and nice! This hotel deserves a high rating for service and quality. we have already made plans to return! Thank u once again to every staff that has made our stay a great and memorable one!

The room was very clean and well maintained. The interior design of the lobby and the alley were a bit outdated but that's not an issue if you are travelling for business. The room service was very cheap as well. Everything works well but the AC was not too cold, just cool. Overall this is a recommended hotel that will provide quite a comfortable stay.

A very worst experience stay ever! For the first I requested for early check in its not provided on 22 April 2023. They ask for additional fee and finally I just checked in at 3PM. Second, around 3PM I just ordered Banana Fitters and waiting for 3 hours! I already called them 3times but there is no explanation only wait wait and wait until 3 hours coming. Third, I requested for extend the same room and its so complicated, I should to wait and their forgot that I already told them the day when I arrived. Forth, I pay room extend bill to reception and requested for make up the room once I request since I want to have a rest. And surprisee?!!! Housekeeping coming to my room and I just said that I will inform later for make up the room, then again the BAD things is someone is trying to enter my room without permission, I dont know how can they get my room access, and I just shouted since Im not in full wearing (you can imagine if i didn’t double lock) and he said want to cleaning, I’m shocked then I just said that I didn’t request anything! I trying to sleep and housekeeping just knock the door again for the third times! I just open the door and said there is nothing request for anything and they said from their group I just requested. I dont know how this work!!! I’m very dissapointed and can’t sleep again. I just met their Duty Manager/MOD and told everything and ask for checking CCTV however there is nothing following up and recovery at all. I’m repeater guest and always stay here (you can check in your hotel system)and I think Aston Tanjungpinang is the best hotel but it’s not met my expectation for this current stay! IM VERY SAD AND DISSAPOINTED FOR WHAT WAS HAPPENED!!!!

The location was quiet, peaceful, and very good for relaxation. The cottage was comfortable. So it’s great if you’re looking for a place to fully chill and relax! Resort has many types of room categories like treetop, sea view villa, beach view etc.. resort also has activities like boating, archery, cycling, etc .. Imp: Location is a bit far from the city, thankfully there’s pickup & dropoff service with reasonable prices provided by the resort. The traditional massage was on the beach ⛱️ side in the evening. The cold breeze with the sound of water waves was so relaxing. The staff was very attentive and very welcome.🙏 The Resort Manager Mr.Ishon was so nice and friendly nature. Here, you can get Veg and Non Veg food. Indonesia food, Asian food, Korean food. They also have BBQ. which needs to be booked in advance. Would visit again!!

Customer service at this resort is excellent. While the location is slightly secluded, it offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The Ocean View Room is perfect for couples, and I highly recommend trying their barbecue. Personally, I found the Normal Room to offer more privacy compared to the Ocean View. Cleanliness is generally acceptable but could be improved.
They also offer additional services such as massages, but they have limited masseurs, and there were some communication issues during my experience, which limited the massage duration to 30 minutes. I believe the masseurs could benefit from more training to enhance the overall customer experience.
I would suggest booking a private driver for a day to explore the area. Additionally, the resort provides acceptable currency exchange rates, which is commendable

Amazing experience! They gave snacks (cookies & water) and cool towels during our land transfer. The location is far from the ferry port, it takes around 75mins, but good enough we had Wifi on board. Upon arrival of the hotel, the staff greeted us with warm welcome, served us refreshing drinks, and assisted our check-in right away. We rode the buggy to our villa, and they assisted us in bringing our luggage. The villa is amazing. It was so big! I love the hammock! The room is very clean. It has mini bar so you may have some drinks and pay upon check-out. We had a coffee maker in our room with complimentary coffee pods. The food on The Dining Room, Pool Bar, and Rica-rica were all delicious. Breakfast has a lot of choices. Although too sad they don't have hot chocolate so we just had coffee. We were surprised they told us we have one-time complimentary cocktail/mocktail! And oh, they gave my husband a birthday cake! The SPA offered excellent massage experience. We had land and water activities to make the stay more fun. The beach is so-so, we didn't swim there. But we loved the swimming pool. A lot of free activities also like kayaking, standing paddle, darts, billiards, table tennis, board games. We didn't get to try biking as we get tired easily haha. The staff are the best. Everyone wears beautiful smiles all the time. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

I and my family had such a great time in Mayang Sari resort in November 2022. We had booked a garden view room, but when we requested for a beach view room the staff were very helpful to move us to one. The chalets are so nice and spacious and there was enough room for four of us. The best part was sitting outside and hearing the ocean and waves. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the beach that is very neat and clean. We tried water sports and other leisure activities. I and my wife also went to the spa and I will specifically recommend Anindya spa - it was a great experience there. Thank you to all the staff for the enjoyable stay for me and my family.

PPengguna TetamuOverall a gem near Singapore for a 2-3 days getaway. The property is massive with around 4-5 resort properties within the whole nirvana gardens estate. We stayed at Indra maya villas. You do feel the post covid effect at the place considering it recently started and still running load occupancy. Many restaurants and properties are still closed making it a dull place as yet. Overall it’s a warm feeling to be in Indonesia as the people are really nice and warm. Feel bad for the hard times they might have faced during covid with all the properties shutting down. Some pros of staying at the villa 1) villas are massive and great for 6-7 adults and 2-3 kids. We stayed at the sea front villas which is right besides the sea with a large personal swimming pool. 2). View is incredible, villas is luxurious with spacious rooms and 4 bathroom and 3 bedrooms. 3) you get a buggy along with the villas so moving around is super convenient 4) the staff at nirvana garden resort is great and prefer to go and eat a Dino cafe or the coffee shop for morning breakfast. 5) beach at nirwana gardens is amazing with white sand and clean waters. 6) kitchen is fully equipped. Also has a microwave and a coffee machine. 7) do carry a volley ball if you fancy a game as there is a volleyball court at the beach. Also few but not all activities are available like shooting, archery, horse ridding, billiards to name a few. Some cons of staying at Indra maya 1) there is a large bathroom in the master bathroom which has open access to the back side which looks little scarier at night considering this place is scheduled at night and the doors don’t look properly. Also inviting some insects/ lizards inside. 2) spice restaurant talks about offering a variety of food but the vibes of this places is depressing and staff is not so friendly. Avoid eating there. Food is average here. This is the place where you can truly see the post covid effect. 3) not all the properties are opened yet so it’s quiet and little lonely after dark . Ideally you can carry some food along and make it in the kitchen of the villa saving some money and venturing alone at night. Avoid venturing to secluded areas if you are not in big group. 4) the beach place outside spice restaurant is really depressing. Light shuts down and there is no light if you feel like going to the beach at night. The coffee shop near beach doesn’t see any people and needs to lively up a bit. Suggestions 1) Some big size coffee mugs and Normal glasses to drink water in the kitchen is needed. There re loads of wine glasses 2) more options like insect repellent like a coil or spray is needed. Not enough for the entire villa. 3) some programs like live singers or beach activity could be arranged for people to stay entertained.

IIrvin Jonah CheungIf you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away!
The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area.
The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer).
For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!

PPengguna TetamuWe just had a very enjoyable and satisfied 2 nights stay at Angsana Bintan. All staff are very friendly, always with welcoming smiles and attentive to our needs. The services are quick and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Shuttle bus to ferry terminals are prompt and organized. Breakfasts are with great variety of foods and beverages, nice and delicious. All 5 of us (Myself and family) very much enjoyed our stay!! Would love to come back again in future.

PPengguna TetamuWe visited the resort for the third time, accompanied by family friends, and stayed in their Banyu Biru villa which had a water slide for kids. However, this visit turned into a terrifying experience for my family. To sum it up, the pool area lacked staff presence, had no lifeguards, security, or sunproof shelter. In an effort to shield ourselves from the intense sunlight, we moved our sun chairs under a large tree approximately 15 meters away from the pool. While my daughter was playing under the water slide in a game of hide and seek with her friend, her leg from the knee downward got caught in the water intake system. She was on the brink of drowning. Due to our distant seating, I only realized the dire situation when my 4-year-old had already ingested a significant amount of water. My son held his sister and called for my help. Despite my immediate intervention, the suction was so strong that I couldn't free her from the intake system. I shouted for assistance, but no one came to aid us. Fortunately, one of the boys nearby managed to locate the switch and deactivate the system, finally releasing my daughter's trapped leg. By that time, her calf was discolored, turning black and purple, with scratches all over her knee area. Upon addressing the hotel staff, all they offered was some ice, with no medical assistance provided. Regrettably, the management did not treat the incident with the gravity it deserved. Following my return home, I composed an email to them, but their response was unsatisfactory. While they claimed to have implemented measures like placing a mesh cover over the intake and lowering the pipe, their lack of empathy was evident. The hotel's customer care was severely lacking, and the management's response was a major letdown. I would caution other young parents to exercise extreme caution around pool water intakes. It is astonishing that a large hotel can offer such inadequate support in such critical situations.
