A very worst experience stay ever! For the first I requested for early check in its not provided on 22 April 2023. They ask for additional fee and finally I just checked in at 3PM. Second, around 3PM I just ordered Banana Fitters and waiting for 3 hours! I already called them 3times but there is no explanation only wait wait and wait until 3 hours coming. Third, I requested for extend the same room and its so complicated, I should to wait and their forgot that I already told them the day when I arrived. Forth, I pay room extend bill to reception and requested for make up the room once I request since I want to have a rest. And surprisee?!!! Housekeeping coming to my room and I just said that I will inform later for make up the room, then again the BAD things is someone is trying to enter my room without permission, I dont know how can they get my room access, and I just shouted since Im not in full wearing (you can imagine if i didn’t double lock) and he said want to cleaning, I’m shocked then I just said that I didn’t request anything! I trying to sleep and housekeeping just knock the door again for the third times! I just open the door and said there is nothing request for anything and they said from their group I just requested. I dont know how this work!!! I’m very dissapointed and can’t sleep again. I just met their Duty Manager/MOD and told everything and ask for checking CCTV however there is nothing following up and recovery at all. I’m repeater guest and always stay here (you can check in your hotel system)and I think Aston Tanjungpinang is the best hotel but it’s not met my expectation for this current stay! IM VERY SAD AND DISSAPOINTED FOR WHAT WAS HAPPENED!!!!

This has been the best hotel experience throughout my travelling experience. I brought a big family of 12 pax, and its definitely not easy to handle but the hotel staff has gone out of their way to ease alot of our troubles! The staff were so sincere in helping us with shopping tips, where to get food, transportation and even food. My highest compliments to the GM or owner of the hotel, she definitely went out of her way by making sure we were sent to the ferry terminal safely. she was so humble and definitely made our experience greater. Hotel rooms were definitely new and comfortable. The front desk made sure we were able to have connecting rooms and were on the same level. On top of that, wifi was good throughout the hotel. easy connection. Another compliment goes to the chef at the restaurant. Food was of great quality and worth the wait. A bit of hiccup, but the service recovery was fast and superb. Sincere apologies from the staff and they ensured improvements. I love the breakfast too. good spread and honestly zero negative comments on the food. It was really well cooked and nice! This hotel deserves a high rating for service and quality. we have already made plans to return! Thank u once again to every staff that has made our stay a great and memorable one!

We spend 3 nights overall is good from Hotel front desk to housekeeping, bell boy and restaurant staff are polite and helpful. Except for the free breakfast buffet which doesn't suits me and my wife foods too salty and coffee is not hot enough, we had tried their other foods which pay by ourselves can consider good then we also walk to nearby Chinatown have our breakfast and coffee. And have Bintan Travel Guide to bring us around for sightseeing etc. The driver Edwin is very familiar with the routes and doesn't needs ud to crack our brains of what we want to eat etc. Automatically will drives us to have our lunch and dinner

A great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Everything was v smooth and communication was excellent. Starting from the ferry terminal, there was a pickup waiting for us to bring us to the villa. We enjoyed the private pool inside the villa and the place was overall at an acceptable level of cleanliness, although there were ants and other insects from time to time at the open area. It was easy to order room service, massage and transport to other parts of the island. Everything was done via WhatsApp with almost instantaneous replies. On the day of checkout, they held our luggage until we were ready to depart to the ferry terminal. Overall, a pleasant and fuss-free stay.

Room is very practical: spacious layout & clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom is large & clean. Food options are also practical: tasty/ well- prepared. Not a wide variety but sufficient. I suggest limiting plastic bottled water provision for large group functions.Undoubtedly, that's up to the consumer. But hotel can make a stand on this.

To Ms. Jessica, Asep and Mr. Agung who decorated my room as a surprise for my birthday (that was so cute). To Ledy who assisted me from check in to check out and who helped me out to get a Balinese Massage by Wanda. To Bram and Sonia whose been so good, made me feel special on my day, such kind and very hospitable ones. First of all, strongly recommend this resort and appreciate for the service provided during our stay. We arrived quite early that morning, when we tried to check in, I was told that our room was not ready, which I could understand due to this early timing. After that, we left the luggage at concierge and went for fun and exploration in this resort. Around 2pm, we were told that the room was still not ready and spare room would be provided to us for resting purpose. Then four hours later, we were told that the room was ready and delayed due to WIFI connection issue, furthermore, complementary upgrade of another room with jacuzzi would be also an option for us. When we had BBQ in front of our room, resort staff delivered one box of pizza with their apology letter, which made me touch and surprised. Thumb up for this friendly and attentive service!! Looking forward to the next trip there!!

Pastinya pengalaman glamping yang bagus. Tentside bbq sangat berkesan, porsi hidangan adalah lebih daripada cukup. Bumbung melihat bintang sangat bagus. Ingatlah untuk menutup pintu tandas seperti yang ditunjukkan untuk memastikan bilik sejuk pada waktu tengah hari. Komunikasi dengan kaunter penerimaan tetamu adalah sangat mudah melalui WhatsApp.

I recently stayed at Cassia Bintan for a weekend getaway, and my experience was a mixed bag of highs and lows.
Let's start with the positives. The beachfront location of the hotel is absolutely stunning. The serene atmosphere, with the sound of waves crashing gently against the shore, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Whether you're lounging under the sun or taking a leisurely stroll along the coastline, the beach here is truly a gem.
Now, onto the activities. The pool Zumba and bubble party were definitely highlights of my stay. The energetic instructor made the Zumba sessions both enjoyable and effective, and the bubble party added a fun and whimsical touch to the poolside atmosphere. It was great to see guests of all ages coming together to dance, laugh, and simply have a good time.
However, despite these enjoyable aspects, I couldn't ignore the elephant in the room: the price. Unfortunately, the cost of staying at Cassia Bintan was quite steep, especially the food at the restaurant. While the beach and activities were fantastic, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was paying a premium for what should have been included in the standard rate.
In conclusion, Cassia Bintan offers a picturesque beach setting, enjoyable activities like pool Zumba and bubble parties, but be prepared to dig deep into your pockets for the experience. If you're willing to splurge for a luxurious getaway, this might be the place for you. However, if you're budget-conscious, you may want to explore other options.

The resort is big building and beach front but it is not for swimming, the hotel is okay, the pool got 3 parts. No sauna in the resort.
The Staff at restaurant and room service and housekeeping are friendly. Susan is very helpful but I was surprised that my 11 yrs old child was charges as adult even it stated in your website that Child is 11 yrs old I contest it but no avail so I paid as Adult for 11 yrs old.
We had lunch at Mayang Sari restaurant that serves local cuisine which we always try whenever we visits Indonesia we ordered Oxtail soup but the soup is bland, no umami taste, the beef is dry it's disappointing. The service is good though.
Our check out time was not smooth either, I was asks to pay the bill of more than 3 ml+ idr but my actual bill is just 1 ml + idr.

GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

PPengguna TetamuAmazing experience at Doulus Phos ship hotel. Staying on this amazing Guinness world record ship is definitely one for the books for me. I was once able to bought a book on this MV Doulus when it was sailing to sell books worldwide. The view, the amazing staff and the facilities are truly one of a kind. It was monsoon when we stay that’s why we didn’t manage to enjoy the infinity pool. We would like to come back to experience the outdoor movie with bonfire, the infinity pool and the sunset dinner. The food is great (“, ) and we truly love the amazing warm hospitality of the staff. Definitely we will be back with our family during summer time. It is a good place for family, friends or a retreat. The facilities is huge, a lot if possible activities that can be done and enjoy and not to mention that the tranquility. There is also a spa, it is still under soft opening and still undergoing for improvement but nonetheless it is worth every penny you have.

PPengguna TetamuThe villa was incredibly nice and well kept. Good size for our family of four. The service was impeccable from the moment we reached the terminal. Everyone greeted with big smiles ALL THE TIME and made us feel really welcomed and definitely lifted our moods everytime. You can walk to the reception (where breakfast is served and where you book activities) but you can also call for buggy and it almost always arrived promptly. I do wish that the bath area is not located outdoors as it can get a little chilly if you shower too late at night. Breakfast was ok, can improve further but was still decent. My family had a really enjoyable time at the villa and would love to come back again in future.

PPengguna TetamuWe have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

I and my family had such a great time in Mayang Sari resort in November 2022. We had booked a garden view room, but when we requested for a beach view room the staff were very helpful to move us to one. The chalets are so nice and spacious and there was enough room for four of us. The best part was sitting outside and hearing the ocean and waves. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the beach that is very neat and clean. We tried water sports and other leisure activities. I and my wife also went to the spa and I will specifically recommend Anindya spa - it was a great experience there. Thank you to all the staff for the enjoyable stay for me and my family.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaCustomer service at this resort is excellent. While the location is slightly secluded, it offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The Ocean View Room is perfect for couples, and I highly recommend trying their barbecue. Personally, I found the Normal Room to offer more privacy compared to the Ocean View. Cleanliness is generally acceptable but could be improved.
They also offer additional services such as massages, but they have limited masseurs, and there were some communication issues during my experience, which limited the massage duration to 30 minutes. I believe the masseurs could benefit from more training to enhance the overall customer experience.
I would suggest booking a private driver for a day to explore the area. Additionally, the resort provides acceptable currency exchange rates, which is commendable

JJ.L3Neat little boutique resort with very pleasant staff. Very serene environment wthout noisy families and children.. surrounded by plenty of mangrove habitat within the property. Outside the property, you can cycle to rustic local villages and fisherman wharf (15mins walk away). Could hv been better if wifi is more stable. Electricity tripped once when we were there for 3D/2n..and if there is a.mini-fridge in the room, it would be perfect. Otherwise, all facilities are good enough. Menu serves a variety of western, indonesian and some chinese food but your best choice would be their yummy indonesian selection. Basic water activities eg swimming pool overlooking the sea, kayaking and other on-site tours are available. For kids: small slides, swings, see-saw, small animals eg rabbits, cats and chickens. Entertaintment: simple board games, uno, darts etc

IIrvin Jonah CheungIf you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away!
The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area.
The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer).
For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!

(Room) Our 3D2N trip was fantastic! The service, food and view was absolutely amazing. Our room was very cosy, just a tad bit dark. There’s air-conditioning and hot water so we were comfortable. The only issue we had would be the mosquitoes; we were bitten so many times. The staff at the DeCliff Cafe even gave us a bottle of insect repellent to ward them off, but the mosquitoes seem to be immune. Luckily the balcony doors were meshed so we could enjoy the view/get some light into the room. - (Easy reservations/transportation) Arrangements for transportation to and from the ferry terminal, reservations for dinner at Tanah Merah Seafood (super yummy!), our snorkeling day out with the Bintan Cool, and massage was done seamlessly with the help of the reception counter. - (Food) Before our stay, we checked out the reviews of the hotel from many sites, dating back to 2018 being the most recent ones, and many concerns were about the food being too salty. So we were considering to bring our own food, but we were so glad that we did not because the food was amazing! (1) DeCliff Cafe For dinner on our first day, we decided to have our meal at the DeCliff Cafe. Not only was the view breathtaking, but we were also pleasantly surprised by how yummy the food was. I had an oxtail rice set, and my boyfriend had the chicken chop. The onion rings were my personal favourite. (2) Breakfast For bfast on the 2nd day, we were given a menu instead of the typical bfast buffet at normal hotels (probably because there weren’t that many people at the point of time). The chicken fried rice was extremely tasty, and iced milk tea ended up being my favourite drink during our stay here. Bfast the day after was the usual buffet style, and the fried rice and soup were our pick for that morning. - (Special thanks to the staff) The service here is impeccable, and the staff here were very polite and friendly. Aguz took great care of us - always driving us up to our room because the whole place is atop a hill which we are ever grateful for. - (To note) Just the mosquitoes, bring mosquito nettings for your beds, and I would suggest long pants/tights instead of shorts. Sunscreen and mopiko is a must!
