Perfect Location & Outstanding Staff Support!

Exceptional location directly opposite JR Kyoto Station, surrounded by dining, convenience stores, and souvenir shops. The breakfast offered a good variety of Western and Japanese options. Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond when my children fell sick. They saved us from an expensive clinic which we found in web by recommending a wonderful local clinic just 10 minutes on foot away. The doctor was kind, reasonable, and provided medicine immediately.
The family room is also great!
Highly recommended for families and travelers!

Great location! It is in the center of all actions! The room is very comfortable. It is hard in Japan to find a hotel room with this size that allows you to stretch out. It is next to the Takashimiya department store, which has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Good stay

Readily available amenities at the hotel lobby ranging from face wash to lotion to cotton to coffee and tea and ice cream
Also has a public bath area that was good to use
Available luggage storage area to store before check in and after check out!!
Has umbrella available to borrow when it rains too
Decent distance to kyoto station 👍

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for traveling. It is located right opposite Kyoto Station Hachijo East Exit, with Avanti Mall just next to it, so everything you need is nearby.

There is another Keihan Hotel in the same area, which may be slightly confusing at first. However, the hotel is actually very easy to find — just exit Kyoto Station, turn left, and you will see it next to Avanti Mall.

The hotel also provides skincare products from KOSE, which is a very nice and thoughtful touch.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The room was small and simple, but very clean and cosy. And hotel’s location that’s very close to Kyoto Station made it easy to travel the city and it’s surrounding area. The hotel staff are also very nice and helpful. A very recommended hotel!

1. Cleanliness slightly poor, fridge and cupboard is dusty. Bed is ok.
2. Walking distance to Kyoto station (5mins), near to bus and metro which is plus point.
3. Room is slightly packed for 3 pax. Only ca open one luggage bag one at a time.
4. Staff is friendly and offered amenities are great.

this hotel provided us with a top quality service and the rooms are super huge. Gym has plenty of machines and weights. Breakfast was amazing as well. 1 minute away from Kyoto station to top it all off.

It was a perfect stay! The hotel was close to USJ and the city walk. It was also very clean and the room was spacious. Staff were friendly and it provided amenities for children. I especially love how they provide Re-Fa hair dryer. Absolutely love it

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Keihan Namba Grande 🏨✨

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient for exploring the Namba area 🚶♀️🚶♂️. One of the highlights was the complimentary Starbucks coffee ☕ and the variety of free drinks available during my stay.

I also loved the thoughtful amenities, especially the KOSÉ moisturizer and skincare samples provided 🧴💖 — a nice touch for travelers!

The hotel is within walking distance of many popular spots, including Namba Parks, Rikuro’s famous cheesecake 🍰, and the lively Dotonbori area with its iconic atmosphere 🌟. It made sightseeing and food hunting so easy and enjoyable.

Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Osaka. Clean, convenient, and packed with little extras that made the stay even better. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Right next to JR and metro station, excellent location. Free bottle of water every day, really nice service.
Room is bigger than those in Tokyo, bed is large.

If you prefer a less noisy environment, this is a place for you. Located in a quiet neighborhood quite closed to subway. There is a convenient store just a few steps away and some restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast choice, self laundry is easy to operate and staff are friendly. The only downside is the housekeeping only change your towels and dump the trash bins without a choice of bed making. It would be better if choice of making up room is available for guests staying 2 nights or more.

This old hotel is well-maintained and offers a convenient check-in and check-out process. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage at the hotel. The lobby provides amenities for guests to pick up. The room size is typical of Japanese hotels, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A solo traveler can comfortably fit in the room. However, the bathroom is relatively small. Despite this, the location is great, close to a subway station and with an elevator at the nearest exit. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about, and I’d definitely return to stay here again.

This hotel is great for solo travel in Tokyo. It is located in a nice cultural area and very convenient with easy taxi access to the airport. The hotel itself is amazing…new, clean and well designed. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The only thing to note is that it hosts many international travelers so breakfast can feel like a “melting pot” of different cultures and behaviors. It’s not something I particularly loved but it has nothing to do with the hotel itself…just something to be aware of.

Staffs and the housekeepers are friendly. The room was surprisingly small but good enough for one person. If you have a big luggage you may struggle. Basic amenities are provided (towels, shampoos and conditioners, slippers, water, etc). Some are provided by the front desk for free (at level 2).

Daily housekeeping provided. There's ”Do not disturb” and ”eco-cleaning” cards you can put by the door based on your comfort. If you stay for more than 2 days, they will change your bed linen on the 3rd day of your stay and do a full housekeeping. They will inform you with a note by the door.

They also allow Netflix and YouTube on their TV. So glad I could watch my entertainments during my stays ＞_＜.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the metro station but you can travelled straight from the airport. Sensoji Temple is right behind and you can take a walk at Sumida Park nearby to see the Tokyo Skytree. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. Many convenient stores too (7/11 is right beside the hotel).

Can take the Ginza line (10minute walk to Tawaramachi Station) to other places like Ueno, Akihabara, Shibuya and Shinjuku.

Overall, enjoyed my stays at the hotel. The staff was very informative. Check in and out are fast and efficient. Do prepare to pay taxes though.

good quality for a 3 star hotel, location is not in the best part of shinjiku but its easily accessible by metro, metro station is nearby, although we put up the notice to makeup our own our bed was not made, only towels changed, rooms are a little bigger compared to standard room size in Japan, i can certainly recommend for a budget stay
