This birthday trip was my first time staying at the W Hotel Guangzhou, and it was absolutely fantastic! The entire property is impeccably clean, fresh, and beautifully avant-garde.
The facilities are simply outstanding. The stunning rooftop pool was a massive surprise, offering an amazing high-altitude vibe. I also thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully designed bar, the well-equipped gym, and the gorgeously aesthetic sauna, steam room, and hot pool—perfect spots to unwind.
What truly elevated this stay was the exceptional service. Room service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly nice. A special shout-out to Candy and Catherine at the Front Desk! They were remarkably polite, attentive, and went out of their way to take great care of me, making my birthday extra special.
I highly recommend W Guangzhou for a flawless, stylish stay. I will definitely be returning!

Everything about our stay was excellent. The service was outstanding, the facilities were modern and comfortable, and both the check‑in and check‑out processes were smooth and efficient. The location is also perfect, making it easy to get around the city.

Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very unusual and have a really interesting design — we genuinely liked them. The service was good, and the views from the rooms are beautiful. We were especially happy when we were given a room with a terrace overlooking the bay. It was a lovely surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable.

I stayed at W Dubai hotel in Mina Al Siyahi, and while the property and rooms are nice, the staff's behavior, particularly the manager Fabio, made my experience unpleasant.
I had an important flight at 6 PM and requested a late check-out until at least 3 PM to prepare comfortably. Before the manager arrived, Jasper, a staff member, mentioned that a 2 PM check-out could be possible. However, when the manager, Fabio, got involved, he denied my request and only allowed a check-out until 1 PM. He claimed the suites were fully booked, yet I checked online and found suites in the same category available for the next day.
Fabio's attitude was unprofessional—he was sarcastic and dismissive, with a tone that made it seem like he was mocking my concerns. It was clear that customer service and guest satisfaction were not priorities for him or the staff.
While the hotel itself is well-maintained, the poor treatment from the staff, especially Fabio, overshadowed my stay. I will not be returning to this hotel as they clearly lack basic respect and appreciation for their guests.

Loved it!! Best place I stayed in LA, haven't been back to LA since college so happy this was the place I returned to!
